Being a single room it was quite smallish with a small window

The location is fabulous and close to the beach and Dunnottar castle. Food and bar was also lovely. Room was nice, can be noisy when other people are moving around though.
When the other bathroom used their tap the noise was very loud in our room (20)

Great location on the Stonehaven harbor. Parking just around the corner in a large public lot. Short steep walk up to the war memorial with great views of the castle and town. Plenty of pubs and take out places to eat in the area a short walk away. Our room was large and comfortable.
Driving in will be exciting if you're not used to driving in a small UK town built before the automobile. I wouldn't book this one as a first stop after getting off the plane from the US.

Great location and clean facility with friendly staff! Beautiful view overlooking the harbour. Great meals in the restaurant. Strong Wi-Fi 😃
We were two stories up, so if you have a heavy luggage, be prepared for the stairs, but there were also rooms one floor up so wouldn’t be as difficult.

Great location and easy parking along the harbour just outside the front door.
Helpful staff and lovely room. Did not have a sea view but that was made clear before arrival.
We had some great local walks and had evening meal in the Hotel - fantastic.
Bed was very comfy and had a great sleep.
Breakfast also was excellent and plenty of it.
Only negative might be the thin pillows in the bed.
I like to keep my head up and had to fold them over - but thats just me !
Otherwise I cannot fault this lovely hotel which was always friendly and busy.

Good quality rooms, with decent breakfast and dinner menus, in a prime and picturesque position overlooking Stonehaven harbour.
The down side of the Inn’s position is that it is very busy, with a lot of noisy drinkers congregating outside. But it quietens down after 11 p.m.

This is a picturesque old inn right on the harbour. We had room 6 which has a fabulous view of the harbour. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived. Everything was very clean and the breakfasts were served at your table and very tasty. The Inn is very handy for food and drinks and even though our room was to the front, we were not disturbed at all by any excessive noise. Our beds were very comfortable. The rooms have a private entrance to the side which is good. Really enjoyed our stay.
The WiFi was a bit spotty but, after all, you are in a 300 year old building!

Lovely location right on the harbour - rooms small but comfortable and great view day and night - breakfast was as generous as you could want with good selections and cooked to order
Parking horrible - have to use streets if you can as the free lot at the end of the harbour full as was everything around the hotel - not great with luggage

Great little hotel. Very friendly people and good food in the resultant. No elevator but only up one flight. Would stay again!

Amazing location on the harbour front with beautiful sea views. The sunrise was fantastic.
The electric power-shower was pretty dreadful, very weak with poor heat control - it was either freezing cold or scalding.

Freshly prepared breakfast and lots of butter for our toasts! Evening meal was delicious and of a high standard, again freshly prepared. Dessert was to die for - mixed berry fool - bed was comfortable and pillows too.
Shower was electric and a bit temperamental temperature wise

The stay was satisfactory appart from the view of the roof of the next building and the noise and the cooking smells from the kitchen extractor fan
Next booking will be directly to the hotel
