Dusty but manageable

Was close to the banana plantation

The place needs some TLC, the beds were in a terrible state of repair and the room was extremely dusty, under the bed was very dirty. Tennis courts were U/S.

there is some road noise, it wasn’t that bad, but that depends on your tolerance. road noise from trucks is expected anywhere near the pacific hwy.

It was really relaxing with the pool and room.

We really loved the location and we loved the pool and the size of the room was great along with our little balcony

We couldn’t get the wifi to connect at all. We also didn’t have foxtel which it said in the book we would. We also didn’t have a plug for the bath, we asked for a plug from reception and they dropped off 2 but neither actually fit (they were too small) so we couldn’t have a bath which was disappointing.

Practical, comfortable & easy

Location, room size was massive, good size bathroom, staying in the spa room was a lot of fun! Smooth check in & out.

Loved it

Pretty much everything was great about this stay. It was only for one night but was very surprised at how spacious and clean the room was, also having a licensed restrant was a bonus and the food was really good.

If I was to pick anything it would be the highway noise but really that wasn’t too bad.

Overpriced but great location. If you need somewhere to stay and only plan is sleep and not comfort this is the perfect

Top bunks couldn’t be used, the beds were too old and unstable. The water pressure was non existent. No sound proofing from the highway. Air con in bedroom didn’t work. Using a switch in the kitchen made all the lights flicker. The air con in kitchen was incredibly noisy

Internet was non existent, television selection was poor, furnishing were very dated and in average condition. The worst thing was the highway noise was very load and continued for the whole night. There was no double glazing or any other measures to combat the noise.

The noise was very bad, kids and adults were yelling and screaming late into the night. There was a very bad smell in our room like stagnate water. We ordered room service from their restaurant which was lovely however you had to go downstairs to order it

Have stayed before and was really good. I just have to remember to ask for Delux room.

Bed was comfy

Room was old, bathroom sink leaked cause it was all cracked, coffee cup was dirty, layer of dust on bedside tables and smell when we opened the door. Oh and one of the pillows smelt of cigarette. We should of asked for the Delux room, the ones that have been updated already.

Never again

The receptionist kept trying to up-sell me a room that was not suitable for pets. She knew I had pets and she kept offering me a more expensive room that didn't allow pets. She did it more than twice. The pet friendly rooms are not pet friendly. The incredibly small outdoor space is easily accessed from both sides and eventually leads out to carpark access. The barrier is a less than 1m bit of lattice proped up at either side of a small courtyard. Also the bathroom was out of shampoo and conditioner, and the tub was cracked and stained

The price of the room

The room was extremely noisy from road traffic. The room we stayed in was very old and not clean. A dirty teaspoon was sitting in the cubboard, I had to wash everything down. When we opened the door, the room was damp, the top sheet on the bed was very damp from the humidity and the air con was off, the room was very dated. I returned the dirty spoon to reception upon departure.
