Outstanding! Wish we stayed longer!

Plenty of parking available. We were greeted by exceptionally welcoming staff, when shown to our room we were really surprised by the size. It was huge! Although it is shared bathroom, there is a sink in the room which was a great addition. The room and bathroom were spotless. The bathroom had a toilet, shower and separate bath, again a really big space. Additionally towels were readily available too, as well as a selection of toiletries. We were a little concerned about noise with the bar downstairs, but we heard nothing! We actually ate in the bistro food was good, staff continued to be extremely friendly and welcoming. There is a separate entrance to the car park that guests have the key too which was really handy! Tea and coffee available in the room too! Can't recommend this place more.

TV could have been a little bigger. Iron and ironing board was in shared room and wasnt advised by staff on checkin

no air con or fans and the whole of upstairs smelt of antiseptic. I left 2 days early.

Overall the room for. $169 is not good value.

No air conditioning and the fan had a big ticking noise. Bed was not comfortable and one side sagged like a hammock. It was a very hot room. The shower is awesome with fire hose pressure. Pub downstairs good feed and atmosphere.

I was charged twice for one night's stay. This is essentially fraud. The manager blamed booking.com of course, and booking .com said they had only one booking - my credit card was debited twice. Charging once for one stay would be a start.

Excellent location. Swum in the sea before breakfast!

Easy walk to restaurants and to the beach.

Thought healthy young man on reception might have orredered to carry one of our bags upstairs when showing us to our room?

I had a great stay at the Pier and would recommend it to anyone.

The staff were very friendly and polite and my room was very clean and regularly serviced. I was near the shared bathroom and seldom met other guests there. The bathroom was kept clean, neat and tidy. Although the hotel had its own restaurant, it is also situated amongst several good restaurants and a convenience store that opens late and the Yacht Club is a short walk away. My room was fairly well insulated from the bars and games room as I seldom heard anything from there after I closed my door. I highly recommend The Pier for a stop over in Coffs Harbour.

The staff were very friendly The bed was comfortable Loved the wine bar This is a great venue for younger couples We did not see any disability facilities

The back stairs were quite steep Being elderly stairs are difficult to manage the main stairs were a little easier
