Locatie en prima ontbijt
De gedeelde wc/douch was ongeveer in staat van renovatie, de douch had alleen een stand héét en de kamers waren echt kleiner dan verwacht

I would say it's an okay place to stay a few nights, on the budget side in Iceland, but do only expect basic comfort. The location is perfect though and it's an advantage that breakfast is served here, as well as availability of a kitchen to cook your own meals.
Fine accommodation all in all, but it was not super clean, the room was very small and even though it was cleansed the small was a bit off, it was quite noisy when other guests came in (good thing that there is a silent policy from 22-7am), and there was some confusion about breakfast time (later than I uderstood when I booked, so I had to change a bus trip that I wanted to join). The staff was not always present but easy to reach by phone and very helpful with these minor issues.

Location is great, only 2 min. walk to the landmark Hallgrímskirkja, and to other attractions also within walking distance.
Only we can still hear noise during sleep at night when people (touristors) passing by.
Breakfast is good, with variety choices.

Guesthouse Aurora was a great landing spot in Reykjavik: close to restaurants, Hallgrimskirkja, Laugavegur, and the waterfront. We were in Reykjavik only one night before taking off for the ring road, and were grateful to be able to see so many things in the city in the time we had. Aurora offered easy on-street parking, staff that were kind and helpful, and Icelandic breakfast that I appreciated for being a good solid start to the day while also being quick and not too large.
All of our accommodations in Iceland have been sensitive to the climate: windows are present but not large, and buildings are compact to minimize exterior surfaces. Travelers shouldn't expect sprawly, sun-drenched rooms anywhere.

Excellent location. Hearty breakfast. Helpful staff, excellent communication and we were very satisfied with the late simple check-in.
Insufficient parking at the hotel.

Nice hosts
Stingy with continental breakfast

I had asked for open view and ended at the ground floor of a small courtyard, facing a building. Late arrival, as usual in Reykjavik, no reception, tracking game to find a cold room (heating off, windows open, 6 Celsius grades!), no towels (one must go to the main building the day after to ask for them).
I had made a mistake in my booking, tried to explain it, but they charged me twice for one night. Total: 400€ for 2 nights, a rip off.
Booking was of absolutely no help to solve this issue a fair way.

This is a very good place to explore Reykjavik. It is well located and offers anything you need. Staff is very friendly and approachable and the whole ambiance provides a sense of community, all excited to go explore the beauty of Iceland.

Location was decent.
You can literally hear your next door neighboor snoring. The rooms are extremely small and not isolated so you will hear pretty much everything. Also, the door buzzer is so loud it woke me up every time.
The electrical plugs are unsafe, actually fell out of the wall and was disconnected.
Doors that no longer have handles, locks that don'r work, toilet and shower in 1 room that you share with an entire floor (also mold everywhere and unclean), etc.

Location was awesome, just a block from hallgrimskirkja and a few min walk from the main part of downtown. Breakfast in the morning was great. Beds were comfy.
We had room 33 which is an exit room and has a super bright exit sign in it which can't be turned off. Bright enough that you think you left a light on in your room. We had to cover it with a towel to sleep. Bathroom was right next door but there was a puddle right in front of the toilet the whole stay. I assume the floor had a dip and it pools there. Breakfast room is a bit crowded but that was probably our fault for waiting until the last hour to go.

It’s located quite nicely near downtown city ,everything is close by!
it’s not a property owner fault ,but rather city coverment fault that the snow from the streets were not showeled yesterday.

great location, good breakfast and OK beds.
not very clean, whole house need some better facility management, for ex shower dripping constantly, often no toilet paper in shared bathroom. Sadly they have really grumpy and sometimes rude staff.

Great location - right in the city centre.
Easy self check-in late in the evening.
Good breakfast for reasonable price.
