Comfortable, great location, excellent breakfast and staff.

Excellent breakfast and close enough to walk to the centre of town which has many restaurants, a cathedral, ruined abbey and interesting shops.

Can’t think of anything.

Lovely stay, great breakfast!

Very close proximity to town centre. Clean and tidy.

Unfortunately we had a room without a shower, on tap one which is not ideal as I like to have a proper shower and also a very drippy toilet which we could hear throughout the night.

A most enjoyable stay, would book there again if in that area

Large room, plenty of space, with table & chairs in addition to armchairs, and comfortable bed. Breakfast - superb choice and excellent service Convenient parking, close to bedroom Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff

Bedroom could have done with a bit more storage space Stairs to bedroom (my wife has bad knees)

Very friendly & helpful throughout our 2 night stay.

Having a lounge area in our room with comfty chairs, together with a fridge, was great. We had intended to use the garden area as well, but we just never seemed to have the time!

The wooden beam at a height of 5ft, across our room, was an accident waiting to happen. (Thankfully it didn't in the 2 nights we spent there.) I know it was necessary to have it there, as it is part of the building, but it is a danger. That said, we would choose our room again, when we book again.

A wonderful place to stay!

A lovely, quaint little hotel with exceptional staff who were very friendly and helpful (there was nothing they couldn’t do)! The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed (I slept 12 hours every night, missing 4 out of 7 breakfasts)! The breakfasts I did have were delicious and served by a very friendly and helpful young lady who made the mornings very pleasurable (I am not a morning person)! I was very pleased they provided a public car charger, at £10 per charge it was a little on the expensive side, but even big chain hotels haven’t started providing chargers for guests so this was wonderful to see! I would definitely stay here again as it has become one of my favourite places to stay!

It took a long time for the hot water to run and when it did the pressure was terrible, which made the shower quite a disappointing experience. The breakfast menu could do with a bit more variety, they had the usual cereals and toast bar (it was good to be able to make our own toast) but there were only three breakfast items on the cooked breakfast menu, the rest were various food items on toast, it would have been good to see Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine and poached salmon on there.

lovely short stay for a birthday treat xx

it was warm quirky which we like, there was parking, room was as expected from the description. bed was comfortable breakfast was good. we enjoyed the walk into the town centre for daytime activities and evening meals.

Great location, lovely building, friendly staff

Lovely room, very old building with exposed beams and sloping floor! Shower wasn't the best (electric) but did the job. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Very friendly and welcoming staff, especially Natasha. There was a cellar room that had been fitted out as a kitchen for guests to use and prepare their own food. Short walk into Bury where there is a great selection of restaurants, cafes and shops.
