Noisy Room

the views were nice.

The room was nice but noisy. The AC made noise all night, and we could hear water running through the pipes every time someone in another room used the toilet. Additionally, the mattress was very uncomfortable.

good location

Walking distance from town centre 1 staff member was amazing, young guy very helpful.

Had to change rooms due to a few things... key cards not working, 1 room electrics didn't work, air con blowing out mold smell shower dismantled off wall and we got bitten in multiple times.

Birmingham hiday inn express

Breakfast, bed and shower. Was able to check in early and stay later with my rewards programme

1 lift was out of order, the other lift the button for our floor was broken. Coffee in room was not enough.

Wouldn’t recommend for family’s. Didn’t feel safe

Not a massive amount of breakfast but still ok.

The constant noise from the bathroom. Plumbing whistled the whole stay. Lock didn’t work on the door. Wasn’t pleased as was staying with my son. Loud guests outside our room late in the evening, had to ask them to be quiet then got verbally abused. Parking at a nearby supermarket for an extra cost and having to walk through under ground to the other side of a carriage way. Car is parked at your own risk as asda kindly told me. Considering they charge you to park the staff didn’t know where the hotel was even located.

Comfortable stay but some aspects of service was disappointing

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We liked the room.

We had a disappointing experience with breakfast. We explained we were leaving very early in the morning and were offered a ‘grab and go’ breakfast. When we arrived at the lobby in the morning there was no record of our request, and no apology.

Es la segunda vez que elegimos este hotel. Relación calidad precio inmejorable. A dos pasos del centro, modificación muy amplia, la cama y las almohadas comodísimas. El baño muy limpio y el desayuno muy completo y delicioso.

La moqueta podría estar un poco más limpia.

It was fantastic and value for money

I did love the tea sitting, cereal, croissant and jam was lovely. The room was well set and the location was close to city centre.

Not the best of stays

Bed was comfortable and location wasn't too bad for what we wanted

Reception staff really messed up with our room booking. No much choice for hot breakfast and it was very dry Food stations dirty

Clean not very comfortable mattress, too soft and we rolled to the middle. Furnishings tired in bedroom and main areas,

Very busy breakfast items ran out and asked but not replenished, this was at 9.30 and service was to continue to 10.45. Staff very busy so undermanned.

Perfect location to visit the arena

Breakfast set up was a bit chaotic and the arrangement was a bit awkward for example walk past all the food to get a plate

Great showers and clean bedroom, friendly staff.

The lift system was very poor. We had to wait ages at times and as the hotel went up 19 floors, we were on 14th, walking wasn’t an option.

Not a good experience ☺️

Bathroom was not cleaned enough as expected

The access key wasn’t working! Each time the door closed it’s disabled and you have to go through reception to activate each time. Their break fast was too cheap compared to other hotels I have been even with less money . The management I assume is very stingy 😆

Location, staff and budget friendly.

Prior to checkin, We requested on call to give us the same room we stayed on our last trip because we wanted the same outside view from the window but our request was declined by saying that “we can not give you that” without mentioning any reason.

Freezing cold shower

Breakfast ok but had to ask for the lights to be turned on as us and other guests were trying to get our breakfast in the dark!

Superb

Room, needed more soundproofing from the corridor, noisy neighbours were not considerate of others on their floor. I would have appreciated a small fridge, with the ability to make ice cubes.

Look into parking as no discount gets applied and we paid £22 for 1 night

Room was spacious,

Small double bed. Only 2 lifts for 18 floors Parking was almost double what was advertised Breakfast facilities too small for the quantity of guests
