Stay elsewhere if you want value for money

Good location--it was close to nice souvenir/craft shops. It has a big area to park buses, the reason why (I assume) this place was chosen by the organizers of our meeting.

Run-down facilities (only the lobby / ground floor looks nice; the guest rooms need an overhaul! Light switches are in a hard place to find, half the electric sockets didn't work, low water pressure for showers/flushing toilet. Old A/C system which didn't really work efficiently. Breakfast was mostly same every day and the staff were shouting loudly at each other which made conversation among diners difficult.

Very good

Stylish design, spacious, quiet, comfortable bed, nice jacuzzi and sauna and good food. Noone playing loud music or smoking, which was amazing... Most pleasant was just the whole feel of the place, it's really a hideaway from everything unpleasant in Kathmandu... Feels like a little oasis

There were some unpleasant smells, like maybe mould in the room and sheets and the steam smelled like ammonia

The staff is always nice

I’ve been a patron of Hotel Himalayan for more than 15 years. It breaks my heart to say this but the hotel is progressively going downhill. It’s dirty, rooms smell like mold and the hotel overall looks worn down

Exceptional

My room was extremely comfortable and very spacious. The bed + bedding were fantastic, I was very comfortable. The hotel was very nice and clean, staff very attentive and polite. I enjoyed the food in restaurant too. I would stay here again.

The pool wasn't very clean so I didn't use it.

Overall a recommendable accomodation

The Location is very good, the Hotel environment is pretty green, the staff is very helpful …

There is a Bath tube but not a shower cubicle

Comfortable stay with lovely hosts. Perfect for solo or business travellers

Rooms and bed super comfortable. Staff were exceptionally helpful, kind, efficient and accommodating, so that just make the whole stay lovely.

Bathrooms adequate - clean, good water, but perhaps in a little need of updating. Breakfast and room service was OK.

The hotel is located in a pleasant surroundings. The connection with the airport is fast and the transfer is provided by the hotel. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety and is available for a quite long period, 6:30-10 a.m. Other periods for having lunch or dinner are also convenient and it is possible to chose either from the menu or buffet. The gym is very well equipped.

Our bathroom did not match the photos of the renewed ones available on the website. Our windows faced the garden, so it was quiet, except on days when some events were held in the garden, which was quite frequent (2 of a total of 6 nights). The air conditioning was quite noisy. The restaurant menu is not prepared for people with some food restrictions.

Old hotel that needs renovation before hosting guests.

Location. Garden. Breakfast.

Air-conditioning not working. Bathroom sliding door has no lock and the door just opens itself. Hot water not hot enough. Requests not fulfilled promptly (had to request for fans as AC didn't work, power adapter received after many requests) Upholstery was dirty and stained. Sofa was stained and soiled. Not enough sockets. No sockets near bed. No universal sockets. Lighting too dim when all turned on.

The stay was pretty pleasant.

Swimming pool was closed due to covid. Since Covid-19 has been considered an endemic, the entire country have opened up clubs and everything including swimming pools. So, I recommend the management to open it up as I believe the travelers would want to enjoy all the certain small perks that comes with the accommodations too. Other than that, everything was marvelous.
