The staff at front desk were really great. They arranged a car for sight seeing, provided valuable tips for things to see and do in Kathmandu and even helped with currency exchange.
The buffet breakfast had so many options to choose from!
Cleanliness could be improved.
4.1
Most staff are incredibly nice and well focused to do all that is needed for your pleasant stay.
I appreciated the fact that it is in a "quieter" area, despite most other places in KTM, but still far from relaxing away from constant noise. Some staff at the reception, are A-Star people who would go above and beyond to help and ensure everything is absolutely smooth for you.
For a 5-start hotel, many many things are appalling. The carpet in my first room smelled of piss, the taps of the bath-tubs were broken, the plug for the bath was wrong-sized (thus, not working), whenever you'd be having lunch or dinner from the buffet, even a single cup of tea or anything else would be an extra cost, Wi-Fi service is at best lacking... the cost of this hotel does not equate to what other hotels (of less stars and cost) deliver.

All the staff is kind and very helpful

The property is in the heart of the city
The casino was closer even though it was showing as facility available in booking.com while booking

I expected a good hotel and was not disappointed. The best of the Radisson are certainly the staff, very friendly and helpful, but also the restaurant has a good, wide choice, and the breakfast buffet is very rich (to the point that I chose a simpler option). Overall, a very fine place to stay in Kathmandu.

Food and Drinks were very expensive.

Bathroom was clean and tidy.
Provided a mattress on the floor for the 3rd person even though extra was paid. After complaining got a bed for the mattress. Reception poor service. Mini bat had half empty coke bottle. The whole episode on arrival made very bad taste . Didn’t feel like staying at Radissons.
On the second day a manager who came to the room was very apologetic and proactive . She was very good and resolved the issues we had for the remaining 2 days.

nice location, taxi rank outside the hotel. unbelievable array of food for breakfast- one of the best dosa that I have eaten!
very courteous, polite and helpful staff.

This place is really nice and a great place to spend a night or two after a hike recuperating! Pool, gym, lovely in room shower and bed. Service is exceptional.

The location and lobby
Rooms had a musty smell, fridge didn’t work, shower didn’t work.
taps, showers and hairdryers are old and outdated

The Radisson comprises two 'wings' - the old/original hotel and the new wing a short stroll across a courtyard. The old and new share facilities - the extensive gym with pool and relaxing steam room and sauna (simply bliss after doing EBC or similar) in the original hotel and comprehensive spa in the new wing. You can use the restaurants, cafes, bars in either and book to your room regardless whether you are accommodated in the old or new (this is very convenient and seamless). The staff are all very friendly, helpful and professional. There is a very good/cheap laundry service next to the new wing and some nice places to eat (the Namaste Cafe and Vino Bistro to name two) within 200m of the new wing. Would I stay again, absolutely and I would not bother trying somewhere else.
I was accommodated in the new wing which was very nice. My only criticism was the noise made by other inconsiderate people when closing (more slamming) the large wooden bedroom doors.

The hotel was centrally located with a nice Italian restaurant nearby which was exceptional.
The property felt a bit dated and the pool and leisure facilities felt dowdy. The breakfast was not up to the international standard I would expect from a Raddison hotel.
4.1
Very shabby.
Comparing to Hyatt it was much worse for the same money.
4.1
Amazing staff, clean and comfortable hotel, much better than you would expect!
4.1
The staffs were amazing. They went above and beyond to book a tour guide for me, which was amazing, and they took it upon themselves to arrange a cab for airport in the last minute.
The view of the room was a construction site. The food ordered through room service wasn't average.
4.1
Great gym, pool, sauna and hot tub! Food was good too. Good value for money.
4.1
Accommodating staff.
The bathroom shower setting ranged from scalding to cold even when use might be expected to be low at 05:30. In contrast the pool showers were normal in regards to temp control.
The first room’s view looked onto a building site.
4.1
Good location, nice staff. Food was really good.
I was shocked to discover that the steam bath was a paid service. In my past experiences with other hotels, the steam bath has always been included in the complimentary spa services, and I was not informed prior to availing the service that there would be a charge for it.
