Lovely location on the river, comfortable and well equipped.
All good.

The reception was very effective and Riaan helped us carry our luggage to our chalet. We loved the dog that visited us. So friendly and well-behaved. Everything was clean and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. Tranquil surrounding, space to go for a walk. The spa on-site was a bonus and we enjoyed the facial and massage. Booked another stay already.
Maybe a door to the shower. The shower is huge, and comfortable but if you stay with a friend rather than your spouse, it lacks privacy.

Beautiful location and the swimming pool and jungle gym and river were great. Staff were super friendly and we enjoyed our stay. The chalet was laid out quite nicely.
Kitchen utensils were not clean and we had two tea spoons for 5 people. The braai grid was so rusted and thin it was unusable. We had friends staying as well so we braised at there chalet.

The peace an quiet was bliss. Beautiful gardens and landscaping. The river added to the atmosphere of tranquility.
The cabins not very tastefully decorated but had everything we needed and it was clean. The outside more than made up for it in anyway.

First of all, the cleanliness of the property was impeccable. As someone who is very particular about cleanliness, I was impressed by the attention to detail and how well-maintained the property was. The linens were fresh, the bathroom was spotless, and the entire apartment was tidy and organized.
As someone who traveled with my 5-year-old son, I appreciated the thoughtful touches that were put in place to make our stay more comfortable.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, child-friendly, and hospitable place to stay.

Good location - easy drive to the Addo Park. Beautiful views and quiet get away.
Rooms were outdated and could really use a refresh. We stayed in one of the rooms next to the shared kitchen which was unfortunately quite noisy. Swimming pool felt a little dirty.

We felt it was too hot to sleep!

Beautiful gardens very well kept. Cottage was lovely. Lovely veranda and good braai facilities. Lovely play area for children, was more than adequate in keeping our little 3-year-old occupied. The kitties also welcomed us and kept us company.
Seem to be a bit of a cockroach problem. Opened my bed to get in the first night and there he was waiting for me. Also a few in the kitchen. I'm sure it can be sorted.

we had a good stay here. pool is great, staff is nice.

The hut we stayed in exceeded our expectations. Set in between the citrus trees, a beautifully well-kept garden and the river, we felt very blessed to stay there. We could walk down to the river and watch different kind of birds and on our way up to the reception we could spot some dassies and mangooses. We had delicious breakfast and dinner, masterly prepared by Riaan, who was always very kind and helpful. We didn't come with our own car, so we were generously brought to our hut and Riaan helped us organized a Safari, where we were picked-up and dropped off directly at our hut! Everything is very beautifully decorated and the cabins/huts are gorgeous! The pool was surrounded by beautiful plants and there was shade from a big tree, everything felt very natural and comfortable. We were even allowed to pick some fresh lemons from the plantation! We would definitely love to come back!

Cleanliness. Beutiful gardens. Stunning view. Brilliant reception. Friendly staff. Brilliant meals.
No emergency lights for loadshedding. No wifi and tv in units.

The grounds were nice and the staff were helpful. There were cats and dogs that my kids liked to play with. The rooms were generally large. The beds were comfortable and storage was provided for our clothes.
The WiFi didn't work at all in our area and we had to go to the main house to use it. The cabin itself was disappointing - it was not well insulated so bugs were a problem. We could easily hear the people next to us showering (and not just the sound of the water). The kitchen had only a few items of plateware and silverware. The lighting in the kitchen was very poor. The couches were uncomfortable (with one section of the couch dipping down below the frame). The upstairs loft area was a bit treacherous to climb up and down the stairs (steep with no handrail). The steps leading up to our cabin had one step at the top that was bend down so it was a tripping hazard. The food was expensive, especially for the area.
