Stay was peaceful and clean.

Only had coffee and toast which was fine. The room could have had small carpets on both sides and at the bottom end of the bed to make it warmer and cozier. The King size bed was excellent !

Need some small carpets as mentioned above.

Mmmm firstly the stuff Oliver and Aunt Elmarie omw Lynne you are blessed to have these ladies in your life.. They went over and beyond for all of the guests. The breakfast omw it was heavens made with lots of love... And to Lynn ♥️the most humble and beautiful person inside out I met.. She made our honeymoon/husband birthday extra special thanks so much Lynn... Villa Helderberg is a must to visit again😄

We had a last minute booking, 18h00, and the staff were exceptional since we stopped there, till we left. They honestly made sure that we knew exactly what to do and how everything worked. They offered us welcome drinks and also our friends that met us there. The breakfast the next morning was out of the books. We had so much good good food, and made new friends. And whenever we go back to the Cape, this will be the place that we will stay. Thank you so much Lynn for your hospitality.

Exceptional

My fiance and I stayed over Christmas day🎄 and the place was just amazing. On arrival there was a friendly staff lady who helped us at the gate and showed us our beautiful room. We were then greeted warmly by the lovely owner, she was such a vibe, she offered us some champagne 🥂 and made us feel welcome immediately. The room was clean and beautiful, the pool was sparkling clean and refreshing and the atmosphere was just amazing. It was a bit windy but the big beautiful trees surrounding the property blocked most of it out. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast and off we went. We would like to stay more that one night next time and we'll definitely be back🌞

Pleasant stay

Stay in Somerset West

Located in a quite area. Very friendly staff and host who is very spontaneous and helpfull. Tasty breakfast, offering great variety.

We had a corner room which unfortunately is very dark and smelling damp.

wonderful welcome from owner Lynn. even though I had got my dates wrong! very sweet staff at breakfast time. lovely garden areas to relax. lathe pool and super cosy home in the garden with honesty bar.

It was noisy, not very clean. We only saw the owner once.

The property was well located, close to where we wanted to be based.

Was small and dark inside. The kitchen and utensils were dirty. Very dusty on the floor under the beds.

Spectacular well deserved lil getaway play for guilty lil pleasures wit fam

Everything from the start to finish. Lynn was especially the most friendliest host I've eva encountered. She met my expectations above and beyond will surely book there soon again. Love the home away from home feeling but also that once ina while luxurious feeling you get with this place.

Steep stairs! Not a good idea for older people and definitely not when it rains Could hear people in next room, snoring kept us awake, was very loud Never had any hot water!!

Helderberg celebrations

The owner Lynn was very friendly and welcome us with a wonderfull cappucino...she spoil us the whole weekend with this and her staff is very friendly. We celebrate a bday and our sons wedding and she treat us with sjampanje every morning to celebrate. We enjoy our stay very much

Extremely disappointing

We didn’t stay for breakfast as we wanted to leave as soon as possible

The accommodation looked nothing like the pics on the website . The room smelled musty , the bedding was old and sheet had cigarette burn marks/holes in it. There was a rat trap in the bedroom that extremely off putting . There was nothing about the accommodation we liked

Overall I was disappointed with my room, the rest of the venue is lovely though.

Breakfast was lovely and filling.

When I made the booking I was asked if my room can be changed to a different one as there were other guests that booked for the entire weekend. I did not mind because it made sense, however what I did not expect was to be put in a room that was still a "work in progress". The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom tiny. I was really really really disappointed in what was given to me.

Very quick and very nice.

Love the breakfast and the wine on arrival. The pool was amazing and the host is so bubbly. Staff was very helpful! Was close to our car and could came and go very easily.
