1. Host is accommodating, she also helped me carry my one large luggage when i was about to check-out since the stairs are steep. 2. The ambiance of the room is very cozy. 3. I liked that they are energy conscious. Host made a reminder to turnoff/lower the heater of the room when not used.

1. When cars pass infront of the building, it feels not very comfortable inside the room. Because somehow the room shakes or the bed shakes every time a car passes in front. 2. There's an odd smell when you just got out from the room - smells like from dogs or cats, i cant figure out exactly. 3. Wooden stairs are very steep and it create crackling sounds when you walk, so you need to be careful for your own safety and be mindful not to disturb other tenants. 4. No available shampoo and/or conditioner.

Charming B&B

This is a charming little B&B. I had a room on 2nd floor, with private bathroom. It was cozy, clean, warm and I left here well rested. The building with history, even if it's tight in hallway space (need to be careful with your bags on the stairs) gives good vibes from the moment you enter and the rooms are spacious. Renée, the host, is really kind and welcoming, provided me with everything I needed. Really a good place to stay here in Gent for the price. It's close to Gent Dampoort train station, less than 10 min away and about 15 min from old town center.

The cozy room was quite good, the location was excellent near public transport .The value of the room was worthit. Very helpful and informative host. I recommend

However the furniture is too old and need replacement. Breakfast is served a little bit late. Only starting from 8:15a.m and the money requested for it was too high compared with its quality

a place for calm, quiet and nice stay

-very comfortable bed -very calm and quiet room -5min walk to ghent-dampoort train station which has direct trains to antwerp, and connecting trains to brussels airport -12min walk to old town -very nice breakfast -tea, coffee and kettle in the room

It was a excellent stay. Thank you for welcoming me in the night and making me feel at home.

The rooms looked small but had everything, Renee was an exceptional kind, and the location was great especial the bus transport accessibility, I did not take breakfast because am not a breakfast person.

Next time soap should be in the room, there should be clear communication that you come along with your shampoo and shower gel/soap.

The room was clean, tea and coffee in the room, very nice owners, location a few minutes walk from the center.

The weather was above 30 degrees celsius so it was awfully warm in the room.

Kind and gentle staff. Poorly furnished. Bad smell.

It is in a very good place, not far from the historical centrum.

The place smells like old carpet. The room has what you need, but everything is very poor quality. There was part of the heating system of the house inside the room, making its particular noise.

The location is not great. It is in a not very attractive neighbourhood in Ghent with poor transport options.

Super comfy bed, little room but with everything, nice to have a boiler and coffee/tea available in the room that makes you feel at home, the host is very kind & friendly!

Strong smell of old furniture in the entrance hall, very low & scarce wi-fi, breakfast not included in the B&B formula, too pricy for the type of building

Exceptional

The location is fantastic, a short walk and you are in the city centre. The room was great, very comfortable, spacious and bright. Also, I recommend to get the beekfast! The host, Renèe, is very kind and welcoming and helped to make this unfortunately shor, one night-stay even better!
