The full breakfast was amazing and very filling. I loved that the beach was a short walk away.
The water was brown so I suggest you bring bottled water.

The chalet is clean and the views are beautiful.
Their towels are old, one cannot use them at all.
The road going to coffee bay is so bad you need a 4x4

Unfortunately not all the units had a see view, but the scenery when we walked around was breath-taking.
The units needed a little maintenance

The breakfast was good
Close the hotel and renovate the rooms as most of them are leaking when it’s raining.

1st the lady at reception gave us a room without even checking if it’s in good condition or not….after I complained and explained because of dirt around the room I almost slipped she gave us another room

The view from the room was amazing, there were excellent walks and trails around the area, fishing was good, cleaning services were great, a good place to relax and take in the nature away from civilization.
The local people can become a bit exuberant with trying to sell you things such as tours, shells and fish which can become a bit daunting to leave the gate, but as soon as you tell them that you are not interested they will leave you alone, also watch out for being scammed by them, rather ask the hotel to organize what you need. There are no shops in the area, so bring your necessities with you if you do not eat at the restaurant. The 7 Km dirt road is rough!!! if you have a road car( and not a bakkie) ensure that you budget 1 hour for it and I would not advise doing it in the rain with a road car as there are some very steep dirt hills to go through. Our Ford Figo managed just fine as it has a good ground clearance, do not attempt in a low car.

The apartments are very neat and spacious with good Barberque facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We were very uncomfortable in Unit number 1 due to the fact there are people calling us every time we step outside or open the curtains. We have showed support by buying some of there items. We came here to see the whole in the wall, but it seemed unsafe walking there alone as a couple.
we felt very unsafe sleeping here at night in unit 1 knowing there are people watching us right outside our unit.

The was no water the entire weekend and no electricity

Amazing location and staff. We loved our villa and enjoyed the generator use until 10pm during loadshedding.
Property is a bit neglected, eg: slides at swimming pool is missing a step and is very dangerous, outside bar is just wasted space, outside toilet is broken and really dirty, inside villas need some maintanance (old cupboards chipping, blinds broken, braai grid rusted)..could be updated. But for this price, it was expected.

The location is spectacular. The people are totally amazing.. this place is a gem!!! You will love this beating place.. there IA something about it that just brings peace.
The resort does have clear signage of location as you approach the place, more signage could do a world of good especially because Google maps takes to you the back side and not the main gate. No wifi in the resort, reception is a myth after 8am so just make provision to stay connected. More attention needs to be paid to reception phone, it never gets answered even the cell phone. The resort has no activities and no airport shuttle.

Nothing really
The welcoming was bad by the stuff. I had to wait until 3pm O'clock to check in,whereves other people checked in before that time, mind due I drove 900km to get there, was so tired and needed a rest, and still had to wait. Showering with dirty water. No TV, No wifi, No Network was miserable.

I never made it to the hotel because of the rain. The rivers were full and I have reason to believe that the owners should have called us and informed us of.the bad weather that was expected. I nearly drowned at some stage trying to cross what looked like just shallow water only to discover that it was deep. I will never forget the experience

Wi-Fi in all apartments please
Switching off the Engine while there was loadshedding it was supposed to supply electricity throughout as the backup

We had a nice stay at the resort, everything was welcoming .The staff, the life savers and the security guards were always ready to assist. Great sea view, the beach was not overcrowded and the water was warm ,as well as the weather .We had such a wonderful time, away from noise and all the hectic lifestyle.
The restaurant prepared nice and mouth watering food ,with friendly staff.
The only thing that was not good was that ,my room was never cleaned throughout the stay, despite the fact that I left the key at the reception, that was the only thing that I did not like.

Beautiful setting and view.
The units need a fan. If the windows are open the mosquitoes are terrible.

The location right next to the beach was great. However, the property seems to capitalise on its scenery and neglect all other aspects of maintenance, housekeeping etc.
The room we booked on booking.com was significantly different when compared to what we received. It was severely neglected, in a poor condition, disappointing, not maintained, old, damaged and dirty. The bathroom door could not close. The hotel staff tried to make amends by moving us to a different room, however in this "improved room", blood stains were found on the sheets and curtains, the roof was leaking so much so that we had to use all the hotel towels and a new set that housekeeping provided us with to dry up the rain that leaked inside the room. It was a huge disappointment and I don't recommend booking this hotel, unless you are clear that you will not find a place that is shown in the photos.

The seaview was exceptional!!! The chalet was well equipped and very comfortable. Piping hot shower was welcome after a long day. It was perfect for our needs. Will definitely come back for a longer stay
There were not enough towels
