Perfect for 2 persons

Great host, he recommended a lot of interesting places to visit. The apartment was clean, with a great view, located between city center and the best beach in Funchal.

Suficiente pero mejorable por el precio pagado

Estaba limpio, anfitrión amable

El menaje de cocina era muy escaso. No había opción de camas gemelas y el sofá cama es muy malo para dormir varias noches El apartamento pide una reforma para actualizarse

We really enjoyed our stay!

The Apartment is very clean, spacious and very well equipped. The location is great, it is 20-30 min walk to the city centre or bus around 5-10 min, but there are a lot of supermarkets, restaurants, bars and everything you need nearby! +Communication with the host was great and we felt we were really taken care of + Balcony was lovely and sunny most of the day (lovely evening sun in April!) + Clean, lots of room for clothes and bags + Lovely walks around Lido Definitely would stay again, thanks for the lovely stay!

The only thing I would say is the shower is quite small but was not an issue for us at all but maybe someone bigger and taller would struggle.

Misleading photos (!), very poor customer care, good location

- pool - location: not in the center, 30-40 minutes walking or 10 minutes by bus

- I did not get the room I had booked based on the pictures. I emphasize that I chose this accommodation and room based on what I saw on the photos relating to the room (the sea view). Unfortunately, they do not make sure to have the right pictures to the right apartment. This makes it confusing and above all totally misleading. Normally, I do not care so much about the view but in this case that was the reason I booked with them. - My critique goes out to to the people behind Apartamentos Casa Branca (Nuno) and NOT to Licínio. Licínio was the guy waiting for me and showing me the apartment but as far as I know he is not the man behind Casa Branca, he only is doing the job he is asked to do. So I ain't angry at him but at Nuno or whoever is behind it all. And I am especially angry because their customer care sucks. He also knows that the photos did not match the view from the room and nothing close but the only thing he could say was that I had booked a room with a balcony. That is true, the only problem is that the room is advertised with great view at sea. :( In the end I was offered a room 1-2 days later two floors higher which I did accept but it was still not what I had signed up for. I understood that there were no other rooms available but there are also other ways to cater to the guest. - Lack of proper customer care.

Ótima localização e prático. Très bien placé et pratique.

Apartamento super bem localizado, tem mercadinhos, agência de aluguel de carro e restaurantes por perto. Sacada entre o quarto e sala ótima pra aproveitar o sol e a vista. Ótimo pra 3-4 pessoas. L'appartement est très bien placé, il y a des petits magasin pour faire des courses, des restaurants et bars et des agences de location de voitures. Petit balcon entre la chambre et le salon, niquel pour profiter du coucher du soleil en buvant un verre. Pratique pour 3-4 personnes

O quarto ficava um pouco claro mesmo com tudo fechado. Achamos alguns bichos pelo apartamento. Même avec porte et rideaux fermés la chambre était un peu trop lumineuse (à mon goût). Nous avons trouvés quelques bestioles dans l'appartement.

Nice top-floor apartment with ocean view in location quite close to beaches.

The Casa Branca Apartments offered us a taxi from the airport for 30 EUR, which was a good deal. The taxi driver contacted us through Whatsup when our airplane arrived, and everything ran smoothly. The representative of Casa Branca Vasily was already waiting for us and showed us everything. He was also super helpful during the stay.

Lovely spot, warm welcome, great amenities.

Lovely place, really nice warm greeting and the apartment had everything we needed. It was conveniently located next to an excellent coworking space, a friendly pub and walking distance from the public Lido swimming pool. Loads of good food around. Appreciated the espresso maker and the washing machine! We even got an unexpected sea view.

It would have been great if there was a fan. We slept with the windows and doors open but it did get a bit hot.

The bathroom should be upgraded a little special the tiny sink right under the mirror shelf .

It's amazing apartment with a beautiful view. Very comfortable and clean. Perfectly located, you are in the middle of everyhing but still it is a calm place. The people which are taking care of the apartment are very helpful.

The only thing is that it not suit for 4 adults beacuse two sofa beds are small (child size).

it was lovely.

communication with the staff was great. it was close to restaurants and about a 25 minute walk to the main town and marina. we also appreciated the laundry facilities.

it was loud. we could hear everyone else in the apartment above or when they were coming into the apartment down the hall.

Nice location, lots of restaurants nearby, staff was very nice and we were able to check in early without extra costs. The apartment is really spacious.

Some of the furniture is really old/cheap, and there is no coffee machine, which is a big disadvantage if you rent a place without breakfast. The bathroom is tiny and had a strange smell all the time.

Apartment was clean, well furnished and the view from our one bedroom apartment on floor 8 was beautiful. Apartment 803. Sea view in all directions and mountain to the rear. It was lovely reading, eating and enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony, just relaxing. We arrived at midnight. All the information was sent by what's app text the day before our arrival. It was really clear about accessing the apartment with useful pictures and about the local area. I felt reassured and confident arriving so late. We enjoyed the pool every day, it was unheated but comfortable to swim in. Most of the time we were the only ones at the pool. There were lots of sun beds but no parasols. Showers and toilets were at the pool always clean. Lots of restaurants in the area, most downhill and obviously steep short climb to get back. Bus fares were €1.95 each way into Funchal or a day, week ticket available for cheaper fares. Taxi fare into Funchal €7 for up to 4 passengers BUT ensure they put their meter on and check the fare before your ride, they pluck figures out of their head!!

The pillows were so uncomfortable. I'm sure if I had told the team they would have replaced them but we didn't so I can't complain. All communication was made by text so didn't meet or speak with anyone. May have been nice to speak directly with someone. Didn't realise there wasn't an oven so if self catering it may have been a challenge, we however ate out for most meals so it wasn't a problem for us.

Our host -Beth was lovely,she provided all needed informations not only about access to apartment but about area-including great local coffee shop and restaurants . Welcome note was nice touch and fact that Beth was only text away -great servise. Location is very good and quiet,pool and garden area looks very nice.

We would sugest for the bed metal frame in apartment 206 to be replased-it is very noisy.
