Absolutely everything we expected and more . Will definitely be returning to KarMicheal Farm.

The location was perfect in terms of convenience and access to the the various activities available , whilst still being close enough to the Underberg precinct and host of places to eat , drink and enjoy the local atmosphere .

My expectations were met beyond expectation, so there's not much that I can criticise. From the generosity of a wonderful host , to the cosiness and cleanliness of the cottage , the warm reception we had received and the amazing time that we had enjoyed , doesn't get any better .

Superb

Beautiful view from the front of the cottage over looking dams and fields. Rooms were very comfortable, shower was great. All in all a very delightful place.

It was an excellent and relaxing place to spend the night before our ascent of Sani Pass

It was very peaceful and had a super location. Rooms were big and very well appointed.

It would have been nice to have had breakfast in site.

A peaceful, spacious and safe environment. And the nearby field of crowned cranes were brilliant!

The cottage was very spacious and clean. The view was exceptional

The curtains in the double bedroom need to have blackout blinds fitted. The sun woke me up at 5:00 am and it was difficult to sleep again as the room was so bright.

DECEITFUL PRACTICE

Nice place, BUT when we had booked the chalet, breakfast was included in the price. When we arrived, we were told that Breakfast was NO LONGER AVAILABLE due to Covid. No effort was made to provide compensation for the lack of breakfast, even though we were charged for it when we pre-paid for the room. At the very least, we should have been informed of this fact long before we arrived ... or at least given us money back on the spot as we had to make arrangements on our own at additional cost. If they still indicate on Booking that breakfast is included, then DO NOT STAY HERE !

Hidden gem in Himeville

Wonderful views of the icy mountains, open valleys, the fields, and great endless slopes across the landscape. The privacy of our cottage was also great and the fresh, crisp air was a gift.

The weather. It was cold in June, but that is not the farm's fault.

Excellent value for money

Space was great, hot water, 3 bed rooms, electric blankets, views. It’s an Old farm house needing a bit of structural maintenance on the floor otherwise exceptional. Self catering with No real complaints.

No breakfast, no wood for fire, no heater in the bedroom, no coffee

If it was not for Florence we would not have had wood and we would have frozen

Loved the stay, beautiful place and very equipped for the cold. Had a really good time.

The cottages were stunning, the place is beautiful and Pumi was a star- So friendly and helpful. Also thank goodness for electric blankets and the super hot shower - it was freezing. Loved the place. Delicious breakfast too.

The chalet was clean, however the room was still filled with smoke. It could be from braai from previous visitors. Proper air fresheners could have be used.
