Very good. Have stayed at the hotel several times before. The pub has lost its charm.

Breakfast was very good and served a little earlier to facilitate early departure.

The bar area. The "old" pub was cosy with much more character.

Weekend at Himeville Arms

The location and setting were awesome. The place is old but in a good way, a lot of history. Rooms were cozy and the amenities were clean. Bonus is there is a generator that runs during load shedding, which is often.

The food options at the restaurant are a bit basic and portions are a bit small for what you're paying. Same goes for drinks. Ordered a glass of wine which was loaded with ice first and then topped up with wine. Was barely half a glass without the ice. Lighting in our room was also a bit poor. That being said, we still enjoyed our stay.

Cute Place!

Our rooms at Himeville Arms were really cute. I loved the barn style doors. The bed was also very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, and there is a large bathtub if you are a bath type of person. The location is pretty central in town, but due to a delayed flight we got in very late so didn't have a lot of time to explore before our tour left in the morning. I also really appreciated the staff there. When we got in after a long, stressful day they realized there was nowhere to eat in town and offered to have the kitchen make us food even though they were already closed. Thank you!!!

The rooms need a revamp & the bar was badly stocked. They ran out of a lot of things on the menu.....the full town was no surprise

Quiet and peaceful enviroment. Lady at reception Nosi was helpfull and even the kitchen staff.. Management was also friendly .

Wife only only complained for tv and i wish they cannintriduce self caterikg units for the family rooms and put more heaters or electric blankets

Furniture is super excellent as well as the stuff especially reception was amazing

I didn't like the fact that house have no TV,no fridge..yes I understand it's not self catering but for you leftover you need to save it into fridge it's worse about TV

Really good experience, with nice friendly staff and good food.

The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help. There is a homely feel and the food was really good.
