A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the country, The owners were very friendly and the room had everything we could have wanted - plus a side-view of the downs, particularly beautiful in the early morning. Local pub just a few metres away.
While we were there, we observed a walker being offered a lift to the South Downs Way.
Excellent private parking off-road.
Stairs are quite steep - just worth mentioning for anyone who has mobility issues. The owner did, however, assist with taking luggage up to the room.

A lovely traditional village home with a very friendly welcome. The view from the bedroom was lovely.

Lovely private B&B in a friendly couple's home, lovely ancient cottage. Boutique with just a handful of accommodations. Lovely cosy room with en suite. Perfectly located at the foot of Devil's Dyke as the last stay on my hike of the South Downs Way. Social too with the other walkers. Lovely pub opposite for dinner.
All good, nothing to add here.

Good access and car parking. Large comfortable double bed. Exceptionally clean. Hosts Sue and Mike very obliging. Breakfast delicious. Location amazing.
Nothing not to like!

Just a few miles from Brighton, in a very quiet little village. Mike and Sue were excellent hosts. The room was very quaint and comfortable for a one night stay and the breakfast was excellent.
We will definitely be staying again.

Tolle Lage etwas abseits und doch nicht unweit von Brighton. Danke vielmals an Mike und Sue, auch für den guten Tipp zu einer Bummeltour in Arundel. :)

Room and ensuite was lovely. Shower was especially nice with the rain shower option. Hosts were both kind, friendly and especially helpful. Breakfasts were cooked well and whole breakfast table presented well. Whole experience was cosy whilst feeling classy. Would stay again!

Well cooked nicely presented
A menu would have been useful although we were offered anything.

Friendly greeting from Mike the owner on arrival, who looked after us well throughout our stay. Very comfortable, clean room, easy parking and delicious breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend this B and B if you are exploring the beautiful area of the South Downs.

I travelled to Poynings to do an outdoor first aid course, and I found South Downs Way B&B online. I booked exchanged messages with Mike regarding the location of the place and the venue for my course, Mike was extremely helpful and helped me with all the information and offered to drop me at the course venue everyday. Mike and Sue are extremely kind and helpful hosts. I enjoyed the breakfast, and I am very thankful to the hosts for all the help they extended.

All went well. Every aspect of our stay was excellent. The room, our hosts, the location, our breakfasts were tip-top. A small hotel, but perfectly formed! Freezing weather but a warm welcome. Splendid.

Easy to get a private parking place at the property, check in very friendly and thorough. Breakfast preference booked on check in with preferred menu and time. Room very cosy and compact. Bed very comfy with extra pillows and blankets in a wardrobe if needed. Shower very good and water hot. Lots of toiletries available and slippers! Very welcoming and enjoyable stay. Lovely pub across the road (The Royal Oak) serving excellent food.
Wifi reception intermittent but due to the area rather than the property.

Easy to find - good location for walking, easy access by road to seaside towns. Good pub just across the road with excellent food. Hostess helpful, even managing to cook a great breakfast with a broken hob!
There was nothing unlikeable at all.

The owners were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, it was a shame this was a short stay for us, but would love to go back and explore the area to a greater extent. We also found out that it is dog friendly, so our little cockerpoo can come with us next time!

Clean room and very comfy bed, delicious breakfast and fabulous hosts who went out of their way to accommodate us!
