Very good location for the town centre. Staff were polite, friendly and unobtrusive. Breakfast was adequate, continental style.
Our room could have benefitted from some shelving in the bathroom, there was nowhere to put tooth brushes or wash bag. All beautifully clean though!

The staff were very helpful. The food was great. We booked the small room and it was great even if the bathroom floor had a squeak
nothing to dislike
4.0
The location - within seconds from the bustling high street, parking and the pub.
A few black bin liners stuffed under the back stairs !

Everything!
The bedside lamps 😂

Room spacious and comfortable with great facilities.
We felt the welcome was a bit stifled as immediately asked for payment on arrival. Having travelled a long way to stay there it would have been nice to get a more engaging welcome from host.
2.0
Very clean with pleasant staff
Freezing cold in the room and bar
And people upstairs played music until 5 am

Great room, really comfortable and clean. Lovely view of church at the window and captured really special town. Really friendly staff who looked after me throughout. Good breakfast selection in the morning as well and the facilities in the room. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

The room was very good, but a bit cold.
The smell of sewage in the stairwell
4.5
Easy check in, friendly attentive staff. Room perfectly adequate for three night stay. Surprisingly quiet central town location a boon. Inclusive continental breakfast.
For all favourable perquisites mentioned overnight residents await Public bar closing time for a bit of peace and quiet which goes with the territory at an 'Inn'

All went exceptionally well good location, staff very good breakfast and beer variety and good bar food

Lovely people and a great pub as well. Rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Simple continental breakfast but there was plenty of choice and as much as you wanted. Would definitely stay here again
Nothing, was great

Excellent location, easy parking opposite with reasonable day rate. Our room was spacious and there is a bath! Bed is firm enough for me. Breakfast was simple, no cold meat or cheese but they do hot toast and for the price of stay it is pretty good. Secondary glazing made
The room very quiet and warm. All staff very polite and helpfully.
The room was a bit dark at night as the ceiling light wasn’t very bright so would be nice to have a table lamp by the desk at the corner. And more hooks in the bathroom for towels would be nice.
4.5
Room was perfectly comfortable and it was pretty quiet considering it's above a pub/ restaurant!
A good tea tray- would love to see some herbal teas.
Very nice shower and complimentary shampoo/ body wash.
Breakfast on a Sunday was only from 9-10am, would like to see some option from 8am.
Or the option to have a breakfast in your room perhaps?
2.5
Room was fine; spacious with comfortable bed and enough seating and table space. Facilities like TV, hair dryer etc all worked fine. Secondary glazed windows cut out sound from garden just fine. Breakfast was adequate.
Wardrobe was too small with ex-dry cleaner wire and fragile plastic ex-shop hangars. Bathroom was clean but poorly equipped and with no shelving for wash bag, tooth brushes, glasses etc. Room was not cleaned on second of two day stay and coffee, tea and milk were not provided. Access door to breakfast area via the bar area was locked on Sunday morning (about 9am). Took over 20 minutes of banging on the door and phoning main number for a flustered staff member to unlock explaining that sickness had meant he was unexpectedly called to assist. He was apologetic and did his best but clearly had too many things to do on his own.

Could do with spending some money doing up the decor and furniture.

Unable to park motorbike near building for the night.

comfortable and welcoming
2.5
Good pub with well kept beer. Pleasant staff.
Seems to be that the rooms had some years ago been refurbished but that has faded. Our bed was small and uncomfortable. The shower had very stiff controls and was difficult to use. The public rooms were faded and in need of an upgrade.

great value, friendly staff, comfortable room
4.5
Very nice room in pub in town centre (just around the corner from the brewery). Clean, comfy, good wifi. Good continental breakfast included.
Took a long time to work out how to use the shower, as the control was stiff (I never cease to be amazed at the number of different ways people dream up to control a shower). Otherwise, no complaints.

Room was perfect for my needs. Staff were friendly. Food was fine.
Music in the bar was very loud until late.

Really nice room
4.0
The room was spacious as was the bathroom and both were very clean. Nice and warm and a lovely shower.
The breakfast was too basic and the coffee needs to be better. There wasn't a late check in option after 10pm.
3.5
location and early check in
Breakfast - would have like to have know that it was not a proper cooked breakfast
