The hosts were lovely and friendly
The accommodation was in the middle of a mountain track high up into the hills. The road leading to the property is very narrow and steep for driving. It's awkward if a vehicle comes from the other direction as there's little room to pull over. The road continues for about 2 kilometers of quite windy driving.
We arrived at about 4.45pm and were told we couldn't check in until 6pm however the owners said they would check us in as we had been traveling all day which was kind of them but a bit confusing for us as we thought we were staying in a hotel. It does state this on the website but I'd never heard this before in all our travels through Spain so it was our mistake.
There was nowhere to eat or get a drink apart from navigating the scary road back down the hill to the village. We spent the night in our room which was clean but so many rules!!! The shower to be used for 3minutes, we couldn't use the microwave to cook any food! We didn't have anything to cook anyway as we mistakenly thought we could get something there. We survived the night on a bag of crisps.
We thought it was a hotel turns out it is a youth hostel. We can't understand how it gets 9.5 on booking.com but perhaps our expectations were too high and expected that we would be able to get.
some food and a drink at the accommodation.
The breakfast was very measured as to how much you could have and portioned out in the fridge.
Very disappointed with this stay we couldn't wait to leave if we hadn't paid up front we would have left soon after arriving..
But as i stated in the beginning the hosts were lovely the place was just not what we were expecting from 9.5 rating.

The wonderful friendly hosts made our stay. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather to enjoy the picnic bench outside in the garden surrounded by their domestic animals. It was very quiet at night and breakfast included home baked bread.
It is quite hard to find, but worth the journey.

Both of the hosts were very kind and welcoming. They explained us how the rules were and always smiled. The area was quiet and that you could take a deep breath from the fresh air without any pollution. The farm was nice and we had good fun there. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Highly recommended!
The road going there is rather narrow and steep.

wow what a place! wasn’t sure what to expect and we
headed into the hills but it’s beautiful. the hosts were
excellent even making us dinner as we’d arrived on a
bank holiday too late for a nearby restaurant
it’s about 30 minutes from Bilbao
only thing I’d say is if you’ve anything bigger than a
camper you’d struggle to get over the small humpy
bridge on the road that leads to the property!!

Very welcoming. Fantastic location with beautiful scenery.

Nice place in a small village. The house is on the top of a hill. There is a small farm across the street. Next to the room there is a kitchen with microwave and fridge.

Owners very kind
We got there late, place is quite remote and wasn’t anywhere to buy something to eat or drink. Nearest bar-restaurant few kilometres distance only works if booked in advance on Sunday. The owner of the restaurant was very kind and cooked some chips and sausages for the children.

Me gustaba la tranquilidad y la naturaleza. I enjoyed to sit in the garden near the hens and other small animals. And to see what was growing. Also enjoyed a walk along the road. The owners were very kind and welcoming. The house and room very nicely decoreted and well kept.
No había nada que no me gusta. There was absolutely nothing that I missed.
