Rooms were spacious, beds were comfy which is the main thing. My TV didn't work in the room I was given so they made up a new better room for me. The staff were wonderful – stayed up late for me to check-in and sorted any problems I had.
It was really hot when I checked-in – and I needed to go straight to sleep so was a bit uncomfortable at first. It's a room with high ceilings and beams so understandable.
TV might not work in your room.
Both of the above were sorted eventually though!

Mouldy and dirty bathroom, wobbly bed, to didn’t work
Woken up at 8am by impact drills outside bedroom window, no curtesy by the owners to respect the guests are still in bed
Breakfast was shocking, overcooked and microwaved and pretty inedible , toast was ok, no cereal option or fruit

The staff were so friendly and even though they had so much on,they made us feel welcome, the food was lovely. Our 2nd visit wouldn't hesitate to be back again....love everything
Only thing would be the bath panel was propped up....and how other customers treated the staff.....people can be so rude

lovely property and have stayed before - just some basic maintenance letting it down on this occasion
no kettle for tea, blocked basin, tv not working

Lovely room with king-sized bed and a comfortable sitting area. Great to have the choice of bath or shower. Quiet, so got a good night's sleep. The gas company unfortunately failed to deliver, so staff kept apologising for being unable to fry eggs for breakfast, but this was a minor problem with a delicious breakfast including really good scrambled eggs!
The coffee machine also doubled as the source of hot water to make tea. The one in our room didn't seem to have got this message and most of the water ended up in the drip tray.

The evening meal on the first night was excellent, but a little pricey. I stop in hotels 1-2 times a month all over the country & when compared it was a little too expensive
The bed was uncomfortable, the shower on the first morning was cold & then on the first morning there was no chef. I felt really sorry for the waitress who could only serve granola or toast. On the second evening I was not able to eat in the restaurant & had to drive elsewhere to have dinner.

Lovely small boutique hotel/pub in a quiet location. Lovely welcoming rooms, very clean and fast free wifi, friendly warm staff
Heating wasn't turned on in the room so was freezing for a while till warmed up. Would hope they would put heating on maybe an hour before you were scheduled to arrive. Personally thought it was a poor choice of beer considering its a country pub, breakfast was ok

Only a small thing, the coffee capsules in our room were not to our taste

Found the coffee machine did not really work. Would have been better to have had a kettle

The restaurant is excellent - and the personally cooked breakfasts were spot on. I am trying to minimise food waste so this approach makes me happy
It was a shame that food wasn't available on the Tuesday evening but we had been warned about this well in advance and I haven't marked them down because I am well aware that the industry has staff shortages
The wine was a bit pricy!

The room was nice and breakfast good.
The room was originally booked for a Monday evening but had to change to Wednesday as this was classed as midweek and had to pay an extra £30. This not good as the hotel did not have many residents.
