Habitaciones extraordinarias.

The staff are terrific. The pool is great. View of beach and bay is very nice. The beach area directly in front of the hotel is not swimmable due to rocks and sea urchins. One needs to walk down the beach for at least 5 to 10 minutes. Great beach for walking. AC in the room was excellent. Housekeeping terrific. Tiles in the shower are slippery -- and hence pose a danger. Grounds are kept very well. Restaurant serves a great breakfast and other meals. Happy hour offers good drinks.
There is nothing to do here but read, relax, walk on the beach -- perfectly fine for a while but for a longer stay one needs more things to do. If you have a car you're okay. Without a car it's difficult. No tuck shop or variety store.

Hammocks, private-like beach view, good food, excellent bar tender and cocktails, comfy rooms and location close to exploring
Food and drinks were a bit pricey, especially since there’s other options just around the corner.

Very nice beachfront resort at Playa Panama! Very friendly and helpful staff.
10.0
Location, great staff, food, amenities. Great value for money.
2 issues: 1. Patio door locks from the inside, and we could not get back in once outside with door closed. I had the room key, but since the interior lock bolt was still on, we were loc ked out of our own room. Staff eventually took the door apart, but it was a major hassle due to a significant design failure. 2. The bethroom tile on the floor is the same tile on the walls, and when wet, acts like a skating rink. This was a major issue for older folks like us, who are at high risk for falls. Either replacr the floor tiles in the bathroom with different, slip resistant tiles, or put down stick on non slip patches.

Breakfast was always tasty, pretty and quickly served by wonderful waitresses, especially Esther. Mucho gusto!
Can’t think of anything displeasing.

It was close to the sea.
The value for money is just awful!

The hotel is blessed with amazing stuff who genuinely is doing everything above and beyond for the clients.
I had an accident stepping on a sea urchin (do NOT go in the ocean without the swimming shoes) and Argery with Philippe (hotel manager) both spent half a day with me calling ambulance / brining to the hospital / getting me wheelchair and etc.
I was lucky that the incident happened when Argery was at reception as she is a superstar! Throughout the scary experience she remained very professional, calm and extremely supportive trying to find solutions and ease the pain (while we didn’t have a wheelchair she was rolling me in Philippe’s office chair across the hotel!!! As I was not allowed to walk).
Argery made me feel much safer and I knew she would do everything to help - so many many thanks once again!
Now to the hotel: it has nice shady territory, spacious quiet room, direct access to the beach.
Food is a little limited as it’s not a buffet which makes it difficult to get what you need for breakfast (same issue in Monteverde Ficus as it’s part of the sane brand).

wonderful staff, from Angie to Alvaro, the whole team is very nice and always available to help.
rooms are very big with a small patio where you can see monkeys.
the room did not have the mosquito protection, which was a problem for me personally since i could not keep the window open at night ( too many mosquitos) and had use the air conditioning, which i do not like and make me sneeze.

The entire stay was wonderful. Our flight out of Liberia was canceled on Christmas Eve and the hotel went above and beyond to take care of my family of 7 at the last minute. They were over the top accommodating and kind.
The rooms were clean and breakfast was great. The proximity to the beach was wonderful.

all the staff were very good and friendly. bed very comfortable and rooms spacious. liked to walk the length of the bay each morning as long as the tide was going out.
sun beds and wooden restaurant chairs were very uncomfortable. Need cushions. there were cushions on the outside chairs though.

The proximity to the beach, the delicious food, and best of all - the incredible staff.

It is advertised on Booking.com as at playa Hermosa but it is not ans there is no public transportation to Playa Hermosa. And although it is. 7 minute ride to Playa Hermosa the taxi costs $70 to go there and back.So false advertising. We never would have stayed there had we known.?when we we found out they wouldn’t give us our money back.

This was our second visit to this resort. We loved it the 1st time and it has only improved since then. The location is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the staff are exemplary. The new management team are very dedicated to updating all aspects of the experience and facility and we appreciated the changes to the menu and inclusion of more vegetarian / vegan options.
There wasn't anything to not like. My only advice is that if you are staying for multiple days let the front desk know during breakfast if you want your room refreshed.

Amazing!! Beautiful property on a beautiful untouched beach. The staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome (especially Roberto). We were sad to leave.
Nothing!!!

The gardens were beautiful and well groomed. Beds were comfortable. The food was was good and reasonably priced. Staff were very courteous and friendly.
the glass in the door to the patio was separated from the frame. This was reported to multiple staff members but no one came to check it or fix it.

Not much to do on resort, pool closes at 8:00, restaurant is VERY expensive and not that good, bar is insanely overpriced, no outside food or drinks allowed, can’t throw toilet paper in the toilets, though they are no the only ones that have that gross rule in CR
