Außergewöhnlich! Grün, ruhig, erholsam, familiär. Madeira at its best.

Wunderschöne im ruhigen Westen Madeiras gelegene kleine, sehr gepflegte Ferienhausanlage. Pool mit Meerblick und kultiger Hobbitbar bzw. gut sortiertem kleinen Shop für Selbstversorgung (24h zugänglich, Selbstbedienung, vernünftige Preise). Bei Anreise war der Kühlschrank fürs Prepare-Yourself Frühstück gut gefüllt, dazu gibts täglichen Brötchenservice und auf Wunsch wird der Kühlschrank natürlich nachgefüllt. Sehr nett war auch, dass auf Ernährungswünsche (vegan/flexitarisch) im Vorfeld Rücksicht genommen wurde. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes zugewachsenes Ferienhaus am Rand des Grundstücks mit Blick auf Bananenstauden und Atlantik, geweckt wurden wir von Vogelgesang, Frühstück gab es (nach dem morgendlichen Gang zum erfrischenden Pool) im Grünen mit leckerem Brot (... das abendliche Glas Wein auch) und wurden von verschiedenen Katzen besucht (absolut lieb und - ungewohnt - nicht aufdringlich). Wider Erwarten gab es erfreulicherweise auch eine Klimaanlage welche die ungewöhnlich heißen Oktobernächte erträglich gemacht hat. Unsere Gastgeber und alle Mitarbeiter waren supernett, wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt und hätten es durchaus noch ein paar Tage (Wochen ;-) ) länger dort ausgehalten! Tipp: Besucht das "O Farolim" in Ponta Do Pargo, sehr leckerer Fisch und Wein zu guten Preisen mit toller Aussicht auf den Atlantik.

The tranquil atmosphere was incredibly rejuvenating, and the exquisite scenery surrounding the property proved to be incredibly refreshing. The house we lodged in was exceptionally cozy, clean, and surprisingly well-equipped. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful during our entire stay.

great stay

nice small hotel in a lovely location, beautiful garden, view from window is wonderful, lots of details like fresh flowers and decoration. There is also a mini farm with rabbits, hens and ducks. Breakfast is kept in the fridge in the house itself, which is very convenient. There is also a pool, but in may it was still very cold.

Feels like home

Experience of holiday house on the top of the hill with a stunning view near the forest. Wonderful friendly staff and owners. Cozy and smart facilities. It was sad to leave this place. I wish I could put more than 10/10. Amazing!

Nice to relax

It is perfect to relax. You can eat the fruits from the garden (banana, Orange for example) for free. The hosts are very nice and hobbit Bar is lovely....there is no barkeeper...you take what you want and write it on a list (for paying when you check out). In the near are some Restaurants that offer vegan menus, which was important for us.

Everything was fine for us but if you need fast wifi than this could be a problem. Another point is that the Pool is not heatet so its very cold in january and probably till march...so overall these are points to know. if you dont care about These points than this is a perfect place

Really was one of the highlights of our trip.

Everything was exceptional from meeting the owner at the reception. Great little earthy grocery where you could buy wine and little goodies. The cute Hobbitt bar and stone cottages. Loved it!!

Key didn’t lock in our cottage.

A dreamy place!

A dreamy place - very peaceful and well maintained, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully designed and well equipped.

It could be nice to have a towel/cloths rack in the room (additional to the one in the shower)

most wonderful stay

the house was nice regarding the size and it was made with lots and lots of love! there were fresh flowers surrounding the property and also inside the house! the pool was clean and with an amazing view! the breakfast was delicious and with great variety.

One of the best accommodations I've ever had! Beautiful environment. Cute animals in the garden. Hobbit bar next to the pool with an ocean view. It was top!!! We love that breakfast ingredients (eggs, hams, cheese, butter, juice, jam) and recipes are in the kitchen so that we can prepare them ourselves whenever we want. If only the pool could be with warm water tho Overall very satisfied <3

Amazing views, great property, fast internet, overall a lovely place to stay.

The location was amazing. Very isolated and quiet but close enough to restaurants that we didn't have to travel far to eat. Also the internet speeds were surprisingly fast. Also love the animals on the property, especially the friendly cats.

We didn't have the best weather. The funny thing was that it appears the weather on the west side of the island (where we stayed) was worse than the east side (where we travelled). Also I think having a heated pool would have been much nicer as the colder weather meant we were not able to enjoy a swim (water was too cold).

A stunningly designed property.

The breakfast was great - we all agreed the eggs were the best we’d ever had. The property was completely stunning, and our house individually blew us away with beautiful interior design and sun-splashed open spaces. Would recommend to everyone!

The only unfortunate thing was the amount of bugs in the house, but this seems hard to avoid.

So relaxing and tranquil.. an excellent base to come back to .. so easy to plan day trips to explore Madeira or enjoy the local area .. lovely villages and levada walks from the doorstep. Felt like a paradise

Best choice to stay on Madeira. Amazing breakfasts, stylish place. Helpful stuff. Loved our stay!

Very old cushions could be skipped on the sofa. All the lightbulbs are very strong it's quite hard to set up any ambient light in the evening. We were working remotely from the place and had problems with not enough electrical sockets (we were there in the winter and some of them were taken by heating).

The most charming property we ever stayed in. The room was so beautiful with a stunning view on Madeira and the ocean. Every little details in the room were so thoughtful. The pool is stunning and we loved the hobbit bar. What a fantastic place to stay. Can only highly recommend anyone to stay here.
