Great views in central position
Grotty entrance stairs in shared building. Fake blinds to main room. Difficult to contact host as messages did not allow response, and no response when advised left item via Booking.com

Lovely attention to detail in kitchen and bathroom

Excellent location overlooking Viking Bay. Very comfortable with all the essentials. Very clean and tidy. Great choice of pubs, restaurants, cafes within walking distance. Lovely quiet area at this time of year. Highly recommended.
As its a top floor apartment, you have to climb the stairs which towards the top are steep but you do get used to them. Worth it for the view!

Exceptional views. Modern bright apartment.
Stairs is the only issue but so worth it for the view.

The communal areas are very tired and grubby. The stairs are narrow and windy - this needs to be made clear on details. When you eventually reach the apartment it is lovely, however we didn’t sleep for two of the nights we were there due to noisy youths until 3.30am on Friday and dismantling of food festival stalls at 1.30am on saturday! Appreciate nothing anyone can do about that. Bathroom window needs a blind, ok during day but you feel very exposed at night when lights on!

Amazing view! You really do walk into the living room and say WOW at the beach view! It is nice to just sit on the couch and look out onto the sea. Very spacious, great for our family of four. Beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. Beds are super comfortable!! We also enjoyed the puzzles and board games provided. Great location with lots of restaurants and cafés nearby, and walking distance from several grocery stores. We strongly recommend heading for a meal at Kebbells steps away from the apartment. Staff was so nice to our family and food was absolutely amazing!!
Since it is an old building the floors are not very even. Most of us didn't have a problem with that, but it's not for everyone... :o)
The TV did updates everytime you turn it on which took a long time, and sometimes it had a weak signal. This always sorted itself out for us but just required some patience.

Beautiful view of Viking Bay, central to all local shops and restaurants, and it was a well equipped apartment (dish washer, washing machine, kitchen equipment for making food). Kids enjoyed it so much and had the best time in Broadstairs, we also went to Margate by taxi.

great spot, easy to access, quiet, best view!

location was great, furnishings were nice and comfortable, lovely view from lounge,
checkout time of 10am is ridiculous especially when the check in time is 3pm (it does not take 5 hours to do cleaning (it is 1hr max), and if a guest asks to have a later checkout , you need to accommodate that. 12 noon should be standard, 10am is a complete pain and very inconvenient).
The host also sends an irrelevant separate link which guests have to find in the email spam, click links and accept all kinds of silly terms (this should not be a step to do and is not on any other booking I have ever done). Some of the things on this are - the guest is responsible for cleaning the apartment & taking rubbish out to bins in a carpark - this is all nonsense especially when paying so much money to stay, this should be included as standard on any place.
Parking is a real pain, you need to pay 7.50 per day to park nearby and then keep topping that up each day (cant pay many days at once) or park far away and walk. Parking permit should really be provided for guests, or some better system.
Bath tub is nice, but if you take a bath, then hot water runs out before it gets full and then takes hours and hours to reheat again. So you need to boil pots of water to actually have a normal hot bath.
Carpet is very cheap and feels plasticy, making plastic noises as you walk around.
Keys are picked up and dropped off at another location, this is 3 mins walk, but still would be more convenient at the actual property especially when leaving with luggage etc.
Digital oven is a pain, very overcomplicated to use.

Very comfortable accommodation, wonderful view of the cove. Stayed on the top floor. 52 steps up but the view is breathtaking. Everything you need is supplied, lovely kitchen, electric hob and oven, so takes getting used to, if you normally use gas. Lovely host to help out.
TV had interference. Used a fire stick and was fine.

Perfect views, everything was there that we needed, like home from home. Very clean and the property owner was very helpful and on hand if needed.
conditioning of the stair well and parking facility, Shame there wasn’t a parking permit.

Location and near car park
1) The lock box key place was so very badly described that we did not find the lock box! We had to contact the agent to have the person in charge to come to the property to show us where the lock box is situated ( it was not the actual property of the rented flat) and we waisted over an hour of our holiday time just to get the keys.
2) There was only a set of 3 keys given ( only 1 key for the entry house door and 2 keys for the flat door for us 4 family members - where my children (31 and 33 years old) wanted to come back to the flat in the night at different times due to the festival at Broadstairs at that weekend and therefore I had to stay awake to let them in.
3) The keys had no marker so that we did not know which keys are for what door and we had to battle to get into the building and into the flat and more so as the flat door keys OPENS CLOCKWISE instead anticlockwise.
I organized myself a rubber slip maker for the house door key.
4) The entry hall of the block of flats was very dirty with grubby walls and chipped balustrades without lift
and the 53 stairs were very narrow (especially as people with their dogs going up and down and dogs barking at us).
5) The windows in the lounge were not cleaned and full of birds mess.
6) The TV had nearly no reception and we were not able to watch TV.
7) The bathroom door grinds and we had to bang against the door to close it.
8) We had to check out by 10am on the departing day and we have never experienced such early vacating time
at any of our booked B&B's or Hotels in the past.
9) Even though we were charged in advance £50 for the cleaning of the flat, we were advised that: "Guests are responsible for the cleanness of the accommodation and should leave the property as found!"
We had to clean all dishes, put back into the cupboards and to dispose of our rubbish!
We actually wondered that there was no demand that we had to change our beds and washed the towels!!!

beautiful view and comfortable beds. quiet. everything we needed. highly recommended
I didn't mind the stairs but be aware if you are unfit as there are very many of them.
the shower kept blocking but lisa was very swift to sort it out so thanks
not enough cleaning products provided eg sponges and kitchen cleaner / hoover (even a mini one). . if they were there we would have wiped everything down before leaving.

location, views from the living room are sensational
the bathroom door is very stiff and needs to be shaved off at the bottom, so it could open/close

So many steps and narrow, smells old room
No hot water when we are arrival

The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. The views from the apartment were amazing and the place was really nicely decorated, freshly painted and felt very clean.
It would have been good to have instructions on recycling as i expect most people wouldn't bother without directions. Just a simple note when mentioning the bins to say that there are recycling bins on the promenade.
A blind on the windows on the east side would have been an added bonus - we woke up very early as it was very light in the room!

the view, the comfort of the sofa and bed
The shower cubicle is small and shower head better replaced with forest shower head

the view was absolutely breath taking and everything was very convenient. The place was here clean and had almost everything I needed.
the best thing had to be the view and all the appliances were so easy to use and good quality.

What an amazing view of Viking Bay!
The steps up to the apartment but it's a small price to pay

Amazing views. Spotlessly clean and really high standard
The stairs up to the flat, but the wernt too bad once you got used to them

Views are amazing, facilities ok.
No personal touch or communication. Cleaners tried to enter the property several days earlier asking if we were checking out. This left us doubting how safe our valuables were. 52 steps up 10 times a day, not an issue but can be challenging. No drying room really and take some toiletries with you because there is only 1 tiny bottle of shower gel for a whole family. Cleanliness of the utensils could be better.

53 steps up but hey definitely fitter and the views were incredible from up there. Would have like blinds at bathroom and kitchen windows.
