Bramble Cottage (2) is very comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the owners was excellent as we were delayed by cancelled ferry journeys. They could not have been more helpful. The cottage is well located for a visit to Mull. It is close to both Craignure and Fishnish ferries, and is within a couple of miles from a supermarket, a pub that does great meals, and a petrol station. All three can be hard to find on Mull! Because Mull is not large, it is well positioned for everywhere else you might want to go. Tobermory itself is just 30 minutes away. Highly recommended.

Perfect accommodation for a couple and their dog !
Well equipped kitchen with everything you needed
Lovely sunny bedroom and great modern walk in shower
Perfect for exploring the island and chilling out in the evenings
I think a bit more attention to the gardens and in particular the patios would add to the property and add to the charm rather than slabs with weeds be nicer to sit out in with a glass of wine

The cottage had a good location.
The cottage could do with some TLC. It was clean but there was rust on the cooker and fridge door. The microwave was on top of the fridge/freezer and too high for me to use.
4.3
Convenient and all the things you needed provided. Nice bedding and very clean.
It was all good.
4.3
Location was great, peaceful and lovely views
Kettle switch does not always work.
4.3
Very comfortable.
Everything provided.
Lovely location
Shower cubicle, hose and head quite mouldy

Facilities were very good. Location was very good being close to the ferry terminal but far enough away (2.2 miles). The property was spacious. We had regular contact with the provider.
First impressions were affected by the poor state of the garden. No ice cube tray.
4.3
Had a washing machine, outdoor eating space, plenty of parking.
Kind host rang when we left belongings at property.
On a main road so noisy at times, even at night.
4.3
Location was a good base for exploring. The cottage was clean and bright with a lovely view.
Staff rang to let us know we had left a couple of things in a drawer and agreed to post them back, which was helpful.
Lack of cushions on the sofa made evening sitting quite uncomfortable. Resolved by using bed pillows, so no major drama.

great location and comfortable.

Location.
Very comfortable bed.
Ease of check in/out.
Clean and tidy inside.
1 Lack of proper heating!
-a plug-in heater in the open plan living dining kitchen area with the lead straddling the back door was a major trip hazard.
-Again, there is only a plug-in heater in the bedroom too.
Bathroom, hallway and landing were freezing.
2 patio/yard, needs a really good clear out, so many weeds and a fallen fence. Poor lighting.
3 nice wooden dining table with bright orange flimsy plastic folding chairs! Just ridiculous.
4 no exterior lighting at front.
Overall quite bland.
With some tlc it could be fantastic, I really hope it's sorted.

Parking was good, kitchen facilities were all you needed, information was at hand to enlighten your trip around the island.
Both wall heaters in the kitchen/lounge were not working and it appears from reading previous comments, they have not been working for a while, something we had expected to have been sorted prior to our arrival. However, they had replaced one of the wall heaters with a free standing, but this did not work either! Thankfully there was an electric fire which we had on whilst in the property,

The location was amazing beautiful place and the cottage was lovely
There was nothing not to like stunning place

Mostly everything was great...heater in main room was cracked and not working but the fire worked.

comfortable with all the facilities we needed, good location close to the ferry and great base for touring the island
very little - just a couple of minor things that could be tidied up. outdoor space not very conducive to sitting out and relaxing

Location was excellent , clean and very well equipped.
Nothing we disliked about property. The only thing that wasn’t quite right was the sofa bed, it wasn’t very comfortable and very thin mattress for one person.

A great base for exploring the island.

Beautiful cottage with nice facilities fridge freezer, oven, hob microwave. Lovely views either side of mountains and the sea on the otherside. Nice birds visiting the garden bullfinches and things and a local nature tour guide said there are often tawny and barn owls visible! Great base to explore mull from

Although windy and cold outside the cottage was cosy and warmed quickly.
It was clean, well equipped and the host team was welcoming and efficient.
Nothing.

Lovely property in a scenic area

Cosy and warm with comfy sofa and chairs.
Nothing at all

The location is nice though does have the road between it and the loch. Ample garden space if you have a dog and for enjoying in summertime. It is quite a cosy compact space which is basic but adequate for a few nights. It has a washer should it be needed. Heating seemed to be reasonably effective. Peaceful at night. Lovely views up to the hills out the back, too. We had a couple of issues but they were mostly resolved in a timely manner. Good communication during the stay.
The bed didn't offer much support, it is very soft.Other than a few loose tiles around the hearth (shame it isn't a real fire) and in the bathroom floor as well as some of the backing behind the sink coming away, the place itself is reasonably nice. If those things were dealt with, then there would be little to find fault with really. Unfortunately, during our stay however, a road traffic workman was staying in the cottage next door and he blocked our view entirely by parking his long van and trailer in front of the front window precisely when we wanted to enjoy it at breakfast and lunch so for us that was the most frustrating thing.

Perfect cottage well in reach of shops and we'll located on the island had a great couple of days
Relaxed well thought out lay out and plenty of parking facilities
4.3
Very clean and had all the necessary amenities.
It was hard to warm up the cottage properly.
4.3
Amazing place very cozy and on the whole it was well looked after I have a family friend on mull so we wherent there much but very comfortable cottage
Sofa bed had rips on it which could be doing with replacing and toilet had a small leak on the bottom

Very clean, great location, tidy, All appliances and cutlet and crockery were very clean and everything we could possibly need to prepare a meal had been thought of. The glassware was all clean too. Covid safety measures couldn’t have been better. I liked the checklist. Facilities were good. Good kettle, toaster, microwave. Bed linen, tea towels and towels were clean, fresh and plentiful.
The property itself inside was tired and needing some updating. Kitchen cupboards although clean smelt damp. Carpet threadbare in parts on stairs. Marks on walls. Stains on curtains Attention to detail in decor is could be better. Laminate not finished properly around fire place. Skirting boards not meeting. Garden could do with a tidy up. Walls very thin between properties. It is a beautiful property but could do with a wee freshen up in parts.

Fantastic if you are looking for a cosy wee base to explore Mull, worth stocking up before arrival with food but there are plenty of utensils for cooking. If you get clear skies the garden area is perfect for star gazing, and there is an area both front and back with cracking views to just sit and chill before or after a day exploring.

The cottages look on to Gorten which we found to be a lovely little walk, there are loads of gorgeous wildflowers full of finches and butterflies and a few houses selling jam/eggs/home made crafts and a viewpoint if you walk on past the houses.
I loved the skylight windows in the bedrooms both with amazing views
4.3
Nice leather chairs to relax in and bathroom well furnished, with nice views out of the skylight towards the loch
Not all of the 3 cottages are the same. We were due to stay in Bramble 3 but they changed it on the day we were due to arrive. Cottage 3 looked to have nicer facilities and a big grass area to the side for the dog to run around. Cottage 1 which we stayed in had a small yard which wasnt secure for the dog anyway as there was a big gap at the side of the gate.
4.3
We liked the location, the facilities, the cleanliness of the cottage, we liked everything
Nothing.
