Location is good and close to the city
room's settings were disappointing for the price

Loved the courtyard of the lodge, beautifully done and kept and also the wonderful staff who kept the place super clean. Loved the simplicity and peaceful vibe of the place. Close to the main road so was super easy to hail a cab to get to the falls or the markets (Mukuni Park is great for soveinuer shopping) nearby. All in all excellent value for money. Ample hot water and breakfast was simple but very good. Great restaurant right next to it (Zest Bar) and other nice restaurants are walking distance (Cafe Zabez).
Rooms are a little dim in light and a bit small in size. Which doesn't matter much given that you spend most of the day outside.

I liked everything about the Lodge. The location was perfect - about a 10-minute walk to the centre of Livingstone town where the museum is located.
The staff at the lodge were so friendly and helpful and did everything they could to ensure I had a comfortable stay.
The room was a normal size and had a couch and fridge.
There is a bar and restaurant onsite and beautiful gardens to relax in.
The Lodge has a full list of tours, and the staff will also arrange any tours required.
Highly recommended

We booked the executive suite which has a small sitting room, small bedroom and a kitchenette without any utensils (presumably these would be provided if you asked). The rooms all open onto a vibrant garden with lots of seating. There is a good restaurant around the corner.
There was confusion on booking in because we thought payment had to be in US dollars. We didn’t know the notes had to be in mint condition. In the end our international credit card was acceptable. Much easier if we had known that.

Love this place. Breakfast served.
To leave😭

The staff were amazing. For a budget lodge it is exceptional. Clean towels, soap, toilet roll, rooms cleaned, electric sockets working and everything in the room seemed to be working. Food that can be ordered is really nice for the price and the chips were the best ever.
Having to leave the place

wifi in the kitchen
it could have been closer to the city center

Good location close enough to walk to town
The double room we booked was so cramped and small that we couldn’t move so we upgraded to a bigger room (charged 33% more). Rooms are not that clean with ants and insects. The mattresses in the rooms are thin, old and uncomfortable. Overall place needs maintenance as a lot of small issues. Staff is slow and not very flexible in dealing with customers. Breakfast was the same very basic meal every day (no variety). Kitchen where they cook meals are very dirty.

Location was good, didn't have their breakfast

Poor communication between reception and lodge director who takes down online bookings. I had to reject a standard room after being offered online an executive room and receptionist was dramatic like hell.
Very poor staff attitude.

The breakfast isn't anything to right home about really as such only had it on the last day. The staff did it for me very friendly and helpful :)
In my room the bathroom entrance was too tight and the door literally bangs into the sink :| Not much variety in viewing channels so if you're staying in your room majority of your stay you'll be disappointed. Not even options for drinks at the bar too.

Too expensive for the quality you get.

Location, stuff, breakfast
Couldn't provide an extra soap upon request. One piece for both of us was not enough

lovely place, 10 minute walk from Shoprite, Cafe Zambezi etc. Great value for money: a cheap suite with a nice little living room, utility room, bathroom and bedroom. great garden to have a quiet beer in. easy trip bookings with Dewclaw, who gave a perfect service. Great place to stay, cheaper than it should be.

The accommodation was great: a bedroom, living room, bathroom and a kitchen. Quiet location a 10 minute walk to Shoprite, Cafe Zambezi etc. Lovely garden to sit and have a beer in. Helpful staff who arranged a game drive etc. Lovely place to stay at a good price.

The room was really clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was really friendly and helpful!
The mattress wasn't very comfortable

Lack of cups or glasses to use. There is a microwave and small fridge but not even a plate to put heating up items on. I assumed there would be an electric kettle in the room.
Close to city and beautiful gardens. The air conditioning worked well and was most appreciated.

I liked this place a lot and even stayed there twice - isn't it a good recommendation already? If you want to explore the city it's very good place for stay. Location is very good, close to shops, bus or restaurants but still not too noisy at night. Staff was great, very friendly and kind. They serve very tasty food at reasonable prices. They can also organize a trip for you. Rooms were well equipped, you have air conditioning, fridge, mosquito net or TV. Wifi is pretty good too.
No hot water - the only thing that can be improved
4.5
Relaxed atmosphere. Down to earth.
3.5
The staff here are extremely nice people who did everything we asked of them. Breakfast was OK but I prefer something a bit more substantial. The room was clean but the TV only has 2 DSTV Channels – you can have these tuned by the staff to whatever two channels you want.
There is air-con in the bedroom but not in the living room.
The shower was good – plenty of hot water and a good pressure.
The garden area was pleasant, clean and well maintained.
The mattress wasn’t good on the first night and the fridge didn’t work. However, once we’d informed the manageress the staff replaced the fridge and mattress for us.
There is no tea / coffee making facilities in the room.
