Locatie is ok.

Lovely rondavel with all the essentials and a lovely ‘retro Africa’ atmosphere. Wonderful garden around and even a pool.

It was an amazing stay, definitely a highlight of our trip to Zimbabwe. The cottage is fully equipped, the garden is beautiful, host is superfriendly and helpful. It's also perfectly located, so a 10/10 I hardly ever give to anyone is a must here!
It was superb all along, nothing to complain about.

The owner was super friendly and helped me a lot!

Very nice quiet location in town, away from the bussy center. Huge gardens, lovely people, and two friendly doggies. A food shopping center is 2' away by car. As a bonus -we got an airport transfer at a very moderate cost.
It's a pity, the cottages wood roof rafters have been treated with a preservative named creosote. The smell was unpleasant. After awhile you get used with the smell; but after spending a day out, upon return to the cottage is noticeable again.

We loved the cottage. It was a great size for our family of 4 for 3 days in Bulawayo. The property is lovely and very quiet. The cottage is very quaint, if a little rustic. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including both an electric and gas stove top. The property has solar panels, so the power stays on through outages.
The outdoor space is absolutely charming.
The hosts were very kind and welcoming.
We loved everything about our stay and are grateful to have found Limerick cottages.

Clean, private, wonderful hosts and very nice kitchen with everything needed for a pleasant stay! It has a very nice "vibe", and is very spacious. Extremely good value for money for the good quality!
Not the hosts fault at all, but quite a few beighbourhood dogs barking at night made sleep a bit more difficult. No fan (for some white noise as well as temperature control!), no bedside lights.

The pool! This was awesome and provided a welcome interlude to the summer heat.
The thatched cottage made a good first impression. The beds were super comfortable and very clean.
Most of all we liked the hosts. They were welcoming and willing to help us when we had requests or questions.
The hosts were also understanding and reasonable regarding the costs for items that were broken.
We would have loved to stay longer.
Power cuts and water outages. These are ofcourse out of the hosts' control :-) The hosts mitigated against these cons by providing solar power, a gas stove, and water buckets/bottles.
Mosquitos and other bugs. Be sure to bring along your bug spray!
A few minor things like having an iron available for use in the cottage.

Well placed for privacy and with good provision of needs!

The cottage is clean neat and in pretty surroundings.
If people sell accommodation in Zimbabwe that includes things like wifi and electricity then they need to ensure that they have generator or solar backup in the (frequent) event of power cuts. It is not impressive to arrive after a long drive and have no lights and no means to cook in a self catering cottage, whilst the owners home is brightly lit and happy. Fortunately we brought our own gas burner to get a cup of tea, as none was provided. The wifi seemed to be broken even after power was finally restored, but it mysteriously switched on later during the night but then off again around 6am before it could be used in the morning. We were really not impressed.

Very nice serene place, environment is refreshing with lots of trees and birds singing in the morning
Since cleaning is not done during guest stay due to covid-19, they should at least empty the bin daily.
