A bit disappointed

It was clean, and had a very nice kitchen/lounge area. Staff were very nice.

Only 2 toilets on the floor I stayed and both toilet seats were broken (not attached and would slide off) for the entire time I was there (5 days). Also, while comfortable, the mattresses on the lower bunks were too high to sit up fully in the bed and made it difficult to get in and out without head hurts.

Super nice!

Beds and rooms were super clean and spacious. Really nice shared areas, with a good breakfast for being included in the price 😊 I like the view from the terrace 😍

The location is downtown but not in the main streets, you need to walk through alleys which didn't feel safe as a woman and a solo traveler.

Accueillant et économe. Exactement ce que je recherchais.

Emplacement très pratique, personnel accueillant et lieu propre. Le rideau le long du lit donne également un peu d’intimité.

Il n’y a pas de serviette d’inclus pour la douche et les caissons pour ranger ses bagages sont difficiles d’accès.

Très satisfaisant. Le quartier était très calme et bien situé.

Accueil très sympathique. Très vaste espace où prendre son petit déjeuner, déjeuner ou diner, donnant sur une petite terrasse avec vue sur la ville. De quoi également laver son linge, 2 coins salons. L'ensemble très bien équipé. Le fait que les lits aient un rideau est un +, cela permet plus d'intimité.

Le fait qu'il manque des casiers individuels "vestiaires" ; les tiroirs où mettre son bagage sont biens, mais ils sont bruyants à manipuler, ce qui peut être d'un inconfort certains pour celles et ceux qui partagent la chambre, lors de départs matinaux ou tardifs.

Most unhappy hostel I have ever stayed in. Everyone seemed pissed all the time

hot, wifi didn't work until I asked them to restart router (pain), no staff after 6 pm so no help with anything after that time so had to go without internet until next evening, bathrooms left a lot to be desired and men used the women's bathroom regularly and consistently left the toilet seat up (ugh), very tiny room and couldn't access your cage easily without blocking literally everyone in the room.

The kitchen was clean and really convenient. Localisation near St Patrick cathedrale

Too much people in the same bedroom. Not enough bathroom. Too expensive given the poor confort : no place to hang the clothes, no bedtable, nothing to put the things in the bathroom, no breakfast.

Kitchen had everything you would need and a coffee station with hot chocolate, tea and coffee Facilities were clean. Living area had tv and movies as well as a computer. Staff were AMAZING.

I've seen cleaner shower rooms but they were definitely passable. My floor had only one shower but for 6 guests so you didn't have to wait long.

Not so bad

Location - Walkable distance to city center. Quiet area. Kitchen - Spacious kitchen/dining area. Proper to mingle with other guests.

Bathroom in front of the room had no ventilation. Would have been great if the door could be kept open for fresh air. Power outlet at the top bed in the room did not work ,hence, very inconvenient. It needs to be fixed.

The ladder to the 2nd bunk isn’t great, especially when you’re trying not to disturb others.

It was clean and in a good location

The beds weren’t very comfortable and I would have preferred to not have bunk beds in a private room. Also the staff were hoovering very early in the morning which woke us up

We only spent one night but the hostel is clean and quiet, well located if you want to visit Dublin.

Clean and quiet. The kitchen upstairs is class with a nice view and relaxing places. The bathroom was clean, as well as the beds. The reception is welcoming, it is very safe to leave your luggage if you leave early. Good location.

There is only one bathroom per gender per floor, and toilets and shower are in the same room so if there is already someone you have to wait. It is also very expensive, as all places are in Dublin.

It’s oh so worthy! 🫶🏼

The staff was always very helpful and the areas were comfortable and very well equipped. It was a very quiet neighbourhood but closer to the main attractions, I walked everywhere but also close to bus stops and you can get Dublin express from and to airport and the stop is like 5 blocks away. The areas were always clean and the kitchen well stocked for the basics but it was very helpful. I also used the laundry and tho it was my first time they help me to insert how it worked.

A comfortable bed and a feeling of safety

Theres a friendliness among Garden Lane guests you dont get in other dublin hostels. Its the best hostel on the south side of the city. The breakfast is basic and if you want something more substantial you can buy food locally or head to a cafe in the city. Bonus is theres an open air terrace to have your breakfast if you wish.

The bunk beds were oh soo comfy, but the ladder up to the top bunk can be awkward to climb.
