Schöner Aufenthalt direkt am Kanal und super Anbindung in die Stadt.

Super ruhige Lage und trotzdem ist man mit Bus und Metro innerhalb von 20 Minuten am Hauptbahnhof. Berendien war eine super Gastgeberin. Check-in und Check-out waren schnell und unkompliziert.

Our host was great and if you want to escape the noise of a city centre this is a perfect choice.

Breakfast N/A. Location perfect for us as it was a lovely quite suburb that was easy to get to and from.

We found the bed a little uncomfortable, but are very aware that bed choice is highly subjective. We only had a small suitcase so the spiral stairs were tight but fine. Anyone with a larger case would struggle.

Perfect for a relaxing stay outside of the city centre.

Very peaceful location. We could relax and provide our own breakfast. The walk along the canal was lovely. The row of historic houses and the canals were charming. The view of the church and canals from the room were very pleasant.

Excellent place to stay.

This room was in an excellent location - easy to access local buses to tourist attractions such as Zaanse Schans and to Centraal Station. A beautiful view over a canal from the balcony.

Exceptional

Peaceful and relaxing location of property was fabulous, yet only 15 mins on bike from City. Plenty of great local bars and shops, beautiful park and easy cycling to free Buiksloterweg ferry which runs every few minutes between the station and Noord. The host was warm and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Room just perfect, everything thought of. Comfortable, spacious, super big balcony and great bathroom. Will definately return. Great cycling to Zaanse Schans to visit the preserved windmills. Highly recommend a day trip. Don't need to buy €23.50 day pass unless you want to go in museum. Walking around site and clog museum is free and you can buy ticket to go up working paint Mill for €5. Ons bar/restaurant near ferry was great place for a cold beer after a busy day and only a short cycle home along the canal.

Sounds daft but seriously, be careful of the bikes and mopeds when you first come out of the station, look EVERYWHERE. You get used to it.

Cozy stay at Amsterdam North

The apartment was beautiful and cozy, with a terrace and view on the canal. The environment was peaceful and ideal for me as it was close the the festival venue. Moreover Berendien was a great host and made me feel welcome 😀
