Wild Days and Waiheke overall was amazing and definitely a place to stay and visit. I'm glad I came across Wild Days when I was looking for an accommodation because it was the perfect spot for a couple who just wanted to go somewhere peaceful and get away from the busy/loud AKL. We stayed at the Deluxe room and we loved sitting outside and just admire the view esp in the afternoon! Bed was so big and comfortable, it's a good size for a couple. The bathroom was clean and had essentials e.g. shampoo/conditioner.
The sheds in front and on the side of our room. If you take photos or videos you kind of have to move the camera up so it doesn't show the shed. If you have kids you will need to keep a lookout for them in case they go play in the shed next to the room.

Ants everywhere, blocked shower drain, filthy dish brush among other things.
Response from owner was that cleaner disagreed with all but one of our complaints, so we weren't believed. Even though ants and blocked drain would have definitely still been there. Shocking.

The location was tranquil and beautiful. It was quiet and you can hear the birds sing. The nightsky was stunning without much light pollution. The air was fresh.
The bedding and accommodation was quite dirty. Pillows and duvets were smelly. The kitchen was dirty and so was the tables and chairs. Took a long time to clean the tables, chairs and cutleries before we could use it.

We visited towards the end of the season and it was lovely and peaceful during our visit. The Pirate Ship bus was spacious, with flush WC and good hot shower nearby. The natural habitat, morning chorus of birdsong and sweet smell of rum in the air from the distillery was most enjoyable.
The bedding and towels provided were definitely clean, but inside the bus in general things were a bit stale and dusty - one bedside lamp didn't work, towel rail in bedroom was broken, washing line outside was black with dirt so our beach towels got accidently filthy. The Pirate Ship accomodation is definitely rustic and quirky (other units are modern cabins and quite different!) but would really benefit from a thorough deep clean and some minor repairs. That said, it's a lovely spot with friendly owner :-)

Would appreciate the correct pictures shown on the ad. Thankfully there was a spare small cabin with attached bathroom available for us to check in. Wifi is not working though it is free.

All good, nice small place
Bedding was obviously dirty, someone slept already on it. Fresh stains and not fresh smell from towels and bedsheets.

It was a very quiet spot with a great view. I liked how the cabin was accessible, very cute, tidy and the bed very comfortable, it was just what we needed, a warm and peaceful stay.
The gravel driveway, it was raining so it was just a bit muddy, but wasn’t a big deal.

This accommodation was amazing, the room was nice an clean & the beds were comfortable 👌. Me ,Hubby & our 2 boys enjoyed it & the view was amazing. The location was close to most staffs & it is worth every cent .I'm so grateful that I was able to change our room .due to having my kids join us & the host (Charlie) was so helpful & understanding. We planned this trip as it was our 5year Wedding anniversary & it was only meant to be me an my husband. Last minute we added our kids 2 our trip. Im happy we did . ☺️ .thank you so much wild day accommodation. We are planning to come back .
There was nothing to not like about this accommodation. Everything was AMAZING!!!!...

3 new cabins were awesome, well appointed perfect.
Location is also perfectt. Short 10min drive tops to most places. Nice private location/outlook.
Single cabin at bottom of drive was OK.
Pirate Ship/Bus, power sockets overloaded, lights don't all work. Damp smell in beds.
Outside shared bathroom in need of TLC. Didn't use shower.
Sheds with drums and equipment next to bathroom look messy .. make that area look run down.

Very peaceful and quiet
There needs to be some proactive maintenance and vermin control

Could have done with an Oven of some form in the main area.
