Exelente lugar

Centrally located in El Poblado. Super helpful and friendly reception staff. Clean and tidy rooms. A number of activities on offer if you wanted to take part.
Expensive, for what it was
4.3
Fantastic location in El Poblado, super friendly & helpful staff at reception who answered questions and could arrange taxi transfers etc too. Plenty of activities if you wanted to be social on either of the roof tops including salsa dancing, cocktail making and other games.
On the pricier side. Top bunks were a little tricky to get into. Had to rent a towel in dorm rooms. A bit noisy on some mornings. Some of the locker doors weren’t the most robust. Pool area could have more sun loungers.
4.3
Rooms were clean, the pool at the rooftop was nice the location was awesome.
The bed was bad, the fans was loud, it need a/c unit in the room because it get hot during the day.

Die Dusche ist schön warm
Gringo-Hotel, keine einheimischen, Bar Personal unfreundliches.

Hostel has a lot to offer in terms of activities such as salsa classes or just to enjoy the views from the roof terraces.
When we arrived we were a little surprised to have to go to a secondary house in the neighborhood, but fine. However getting into our room we didn’t find what we expected: there were no windows in the room, apart from the one towards the hallway. The photos were quite misleading in that sense and we couldn’t have the curtains or window open because people would pass by the whole night and the light would go on or we would wake up from the noise. Next to that there was no soap available and also even after cleaning service we found hair on the ground, which also didn’t really seem to be our own

Great hostel in a great location. Rooftop bar is great and special shout out to Sergio for being a legend.
Perfect place to stay for people visiting Medellin and want a hostel experience.
Asked for fresh towels a number of times and never got them. Ended up just having to take them myself off the housekeeping cart like a ninja.

Location is great, easy walking to the Metro and to nightlife areas. Super social hostel with heaps of events every day, great for meeting other travellers.
The room I was in had a balcony to the street and was really loud during the weekend, also the rooms are very hot/stuffy (no A/C)

Room was spacious, cute, great balcony and big windows. No AC but there was a powerful ceiling fan. Comfy king size bed. Sink was just okay, but toilet and shower area were very nice and had hot water in the shower! The rooftop hangout areas and pool were nice. Good location by lots of bars and restaurants.
The area is noisy! There was very loud music right outside the building for the entire afternoon and night. No trash cans in the room (just compost and paper recycling cans?). No AC. The hostel has some strict rules such as no alcohol in the rooms.

I stayed at Los Patios for a month in a private room. My room was clean and it was always kept that way by the ladies responsible for that. The crew at the front desk always made sure I was taken care of, some of those people were Andreas, Carlos, Shay and Mar. They were super friendly and kind and they helped me with my spanish on a daily basis which I really appreciated. I'm happy there was a good bar and restaurant in the building I was staying at and a good one at that, Cristian and Jose are fantastic chefs and the bartenders Matias and Madison make some great cocktails. That whole crew was great and made me feel included especially as a solo traveler. The location was ideal and I never felt unsafe, the night security were always on point, especially the older gentleman whose name I can't recall. I also really liked how many events the hostel provided. Since I was there for a while I went several of the events which included the bar crawls/salsa nights/karaoke/party bus. Juli, Stephanie, Jesus, Angel and Jazzy are some of the hosts for those nights out to town and they are awesome people to be around. They are all so talented and will ensure you have a great experience.
This is probably one of the most expensive hostels in the area and you do get a lot with that, but i don't think it's completely justified. The drink at the bar are pricier as well. I'm sure the hostel could stand to come down a little in price or at least add a more robust happy hour.

Excellent room, very clean and lovely balcony overlooking the city. Staff were really friendly and helpful - they fixed our AC unit super quickly. Loved the rooftop bar area and free salsa class! Lots of great restaurants nearby and easy to book tours from the hostel. Great place to meet people too.

I stayed in the female dorm with friendly roommates and private bathroom. Comfortable mattresses. The room was spacious with large lockers and shelves near the bed and it also had a balcony. I also liked the Café in the hostel, especially their avocado toast and there were good chillout spots. Also the reception staff was very friendly and I could safely store my luggage in a locked room inside a separate locker!
The bathroom and dorm bed was not thoroughly cleaned. I had the top bunk so maybe cleaning of the shelf is difficult, but I found old garbage up there.
Since I only stayed 2 nights, I didn’t mind the street noise too much, but it does get very loud at night.
Overall a bit expensive compared to hostels in different locations, but the price seems normal for that area.

Staff are really nice and helpful.
Pool is heated which is good.
They have a good party bus on a Saturday but it's not necessary to be in their hostel to join as we moved hostels but still went.
For the money I'd go elsewhere as can find better and my friend who I travelled with agreed.
Los patios is split into 2 buildings, both have rooftops but only one has the pool so if your in the main building you have to go down the road and round the corner to the other one go use it.
Our 4 bed dorm was tiny and didn't have a bathroom even though we were sure it said we did when we booked it and there's only 1 bathroom on each floor so if it's occupied you have to look on a different floor which was extremely annoying.
Place just feels a bit disjointed.

Very professional and friendly staff.
The hostel is equipped with everything you need.

Los Patios is split into two buildings. I stayed in the "Suites" building (seems to be randomly assigned). This building has the gym, rooftop pool, and seems to close down a little earlier than the "Boutique" building across the road.
The staff were really friendly, the location is excellent, and the free walking tour was a nice way to meet people. Initially I was a bit worried it'd be a full blown party hostel but it seems to strike a good balance between a chill crowd and those who want to leave for clubs and continue the party.
The 4 bedroom dorm was very clean, spacious, and offered lots of great amenities (privacy blind across beds, power points, a fan in case the temperature was too hot, and massive lockers to store backpacks in).
I'd heard from other guests the experience in the "Boutique" building was a bit tough due to noise issues if you were on the level below the rooftop bar. However, this isn't something I personally experienced in the "Suites" building.
The only detraction for me was the length of the sleeping pods. If you're over 180cm you might need to angle yourself a little to sleep comfortably.

good location and really friendly staff. nice room and massive bed. lots of activities to pick from. good kitchen. did the free yoga which was really good. really nice view from the pool
pretty pricey. pool is quite small so if other people are in there you can’t really get in. hostel is also across two buildings which wasn’t a problem but we didn’t realise (pool was in the other building). drinks are pretty pricey and it is cheaper if you go out elsewhere
4.3
Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of activities if you want to be social and meet people. Good location.
Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. Expensive for what it offers. The mattress was uncomfortable, difficult to climb down from top bunk, room was very small for 8 people - everyone left their stuff all over the floor. Kitchen was okay however all the cutlery and crockery was always dirty and for a hostel so big, there weren't many tables in the common room, especially considering that they were always being used by dozens of staff sitting around all day on their laptops leaving no space to sit down and eat for the actual guests. Overpriced food/drinks in the cafe downstairs and the bar on the rooftop. Says they have swimming pool, but its not actually in the building, its in another building down the road. Perhaps not a major issue, but they should specify that when you book as you can't simply walk down to your room from the pool. Pool temperature was way too high, not enjoyable. They have a Tour Agency working in the hostal, don't book with them - they offer a tour to guatape for more than doble what other agencies offer. Also, they charge 12000$ to leave your luggage overnight. We have been travelling for 4+ months and never has a hostel charged us. Seems like Breakfast should be incluided for the price you pay. Felt like it was all a big tourist scam. Therefore, overall we were not happy with our stay here, there are better and cheaper options in the area.

I spent a few weeks at Los Patios and loved it! I'm working remotely so I wanted a place with good wifi, and coworking spaces and the pool was a bonus. There were so many activities which made it a super social place for solo travellers BUT the best were the staff! Everyone was great but I got to know Shay and Mar and they were amazing. It's clear that they really care about the guest and want you to have a good time. I'm glad I stayed for a while and got to know them!

- The beds were very solid, sturdy, and comfortable.
- the location couldn’t have been better
- wifi worked perfectly
- rooftop area was very nice for catching some rays, swimming.
- a gym!
- the reception organized great tours at decent prices
- gym hours: doesn’t open until 10am. I expected it to open much earlier.
- Perhaps an additional bathroom and shower or two.

Location was excellent. Very clean room and I enjoyed it even though on paper it looks "small." Balcony overlooked the city and every morning it was sunny and welcoming. Staff was exceptional; very friendly and helpful.
Had to fiddle some with the shower controls to get the temperature right, but once it was set, it was golden. The water stayed hot (sometimes even too much) and it wasn't an issue.
4.3
Loved the atmosphere and the staff. It had almost everything you need.
There was only one toilet/shower in the floor. So if someone was showering (specially if there were two people whowering in two floors, it was a task to find a toilet.
4.3
Numerous restaurants with a variety of cuisine nearby. Also a huge supermarket and the metro a short walk away. Very helpful staff, someone was always around to answer questions. It was a safe, secure environment.
It was noisy at times but the neighbourhood was usually quiet by 11.

The location was great, close to a lot of restaurants and shops. The in-house food and drinks were fantastic, and the front desk people, the bartenders, and the kitchen staff were all exceptionally nice. Will definitely be back.
