Struttura pulita e camere carine.

The staff were amazing, very kind and accommodating. I enjoyed the extra touch’s of bottled water, conditioner things you wouldn’t normally get at most other places to make your stay extra comfortable. Being pet friendly was also a massive bonus as I was able to bring my cocker spaniel and everyone was so accommodating for her needs too.
Slightly too rural as someone who doesn’t drive could do with having a shop or bus stop slightly closer by but can’t see this being a problem for most people as most drive.

Unkompliziertes Einchecken. Günstige Lage für die Weiterreise. Nettes Personal.
Unser Zimmer lag genau über den Pub und von dort drang bis zur Schließung des Pubs ungefiltert der Lärm nach oben. Als das Pub dann um 23 Uhr zumachte, war es aber okay.

The room was clean and comfortable.
The landlord had friends in the bar down below my room and they made a lot of noise until way after midnight. Also, the A303 runs just above The White Horse and the traffic noise kept me awake most of the night.
3.8
Clean and comfortable. The staff were absolutely fantastic especially Kelly who went out of her way regarding a problem it was resolved
Comes up as having g bed and breakfast in the searches in booking.com. It doesn’t, so be prepared when searching. It’s room only

Location.
Restaurant food was good.
No breakfast could be purchased even though Booking.com refers to the accommodation as B&B.
Noisy room above the bar.
Shower controls did not work.
3.8
I didn't eat breakfast but the dinner was nice. The location was great and not far from the places we wanted to visit and right near the motorway.
The manager Cory was a really good host and made us feel right at home. He really helped us out when we needed his help.
All good

I didn’t
Stuck next to a noisy road which was not disclosed

We didn't have breakfast but the evening meal was absolutely superb, especially given that we arrived late due to terrible traffic problems, and also considering that we're both vegetarians and my partner has a very restricted good regime. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were incredibly friendly.
Given how friendly and helpful everyone was I'm not taking it lightly to mark something down, but to be honest the bed wasn't really big enough for two people and wasn't very comfortable either.
3.8
Clean tidy and comfortable.
3.8
Lovely building, very close to Thruxton circuit.
The noise!
The noise from the bar was so very loud and went on till 11pm - and the A303 was right by the window - so there was no way to have a quiet relaxing evening. Earplugs were the only thing that made it bearable.
Note there is no breakfast available.
3.8
Location right on the main 303is not ideal
The location is terrible it is not advertised that it is along the main road.
3.8
Location was great,we had spent day at Thruxton circuit.
Ref breakfast this was not provided and although I don't recall what was shown on booking we were expecting breakfast so this was disappointing. The recommended place they told us about at the local garden centre did not unfortunately open until 10 am Sunday morning so we had to find breakfast in Andover.
As we had missed lunch on Saturday we booked a table for 6.30 for the 4 of us to eat. Not sure if there was a communication issue but our order wasn't taken until maybe 8pm. The restauarant was busy and staff were brilliant but eating late was again slightly disappointing.

It looked quaint
Noise from the bar and patrons leaving at night

Very comfortable and relaxing

Cosy traditional pub
3.8
Nice clean room. Staff good
WiFi terrible. Bar closed about 8pm and no food available
3.8
Liked the building itself and the hospitality of the locals.

It’s close to Thruxton, so was easy to get to our race day. Room was reasonable. Member of staff was friendly.
Good value room rate.
We arrived and asked if they did food in the evening, however nothing was available on a Wednesday evening.
Needs a shelf in the shower

Lovely, traditional room in a pub. Small double room was clean, comfortable and was perfect for my needs. Pub was very friendly with food and very friendly staff.
Ideally a writing table in my room but it was not a problem.
3.8
Very convenient stopover on the A303, with parking.
Pleasant helpful staff.
Food was good.
Surprisingly little traffic noise.
Room was warm and beautifully clean.
Gap under bedroom door and small room and bathroom (it’s a very old building!)
Entry to the pub past the toilets not so great.
BBC TV channels not working.
3.8
No breakfast which was in original price, room only heated by electric heater and bathroom freezing. Room right next to A303 thus noisey
3.8
Beautiful place. Staff were really friendly

Location
Bar closed before 9:30pm and no breakfast available

What a great hotel, so much better than a hotel chain. Staff were lovely but especially young Cory who was very hard working and entertaining. Rooms were lovely, we will come back.
3.8
Large room, very clean and dog friendly.
The radiator was stuck on full and the room was uncomfortably hot even with the windows open. The landlord sent someone up to look at it but nothing could be done.
3.8

It is a historic building & as such has a great deal of charm. It's close proximity to the A303 does detract somewhat due to traffic noise. Food & drinks & staff great. Bedrooms cold; but a secondary heater provided. Bathrooms adequate but the shelving etc. Wonky!!
No breakfast; wonky shelving.
3.8
Very clean, helpfull staff pub food good.
No breakfast!!
3.8
Nice big room , comfortable and friendly owners welcomed us in
No food served on a Wednesday evening, and no breakfast option. They did let us order food in so it wasn't too bad really.

The room was roomy and very clean the food was amazing plus the staff were great
Very good value

The Inn was situated in beautiful surroundings and although close to the main road, no noise could be heard inside.
It was an authentic old inn with thatched roof and beams, but this did not impair the comfort & funtionality of the room.
Although the chef was away the proprietor kindly arranged a hot meal for us. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.
3.8
Its proximity to Thruxton track
Had a live band playing deafening rock music until 11pm
3.8
Location OK if the breakfast advertised by Booking.com had existed. However, the pubs website makes it clear they do not offer breakfast, which I checked after I had arrived. Also, not food available on the night we stayed so a 6 mile drive to get a meal (without wine).
Cross that Booking.com advertises it as a bed and breakfast - misrepresentation.
Booking.com advertising it as a bed and breakfast place when actually it only offers bed.
3.8
The location, very nice large beer garden, good size and easily accessible car parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. But the room really needs some TLC.
Everything generally was OK.
