Staff was friendly at check-in.
The shower in our western-style room had mildew around the door. My son stayed in a Japanese-style room, and when he and my husband went down to the common bath and hot spa area, there was mildew on the tiled wall by the sit-showers. My husband said the hot spa water had things floating in it. I went to the women's area which seems to have been cleaner. It was not relaxing as the noise from the pool area permeated the bathing area.
We ate dinner there the first night of our stay and it was wonderful. We decided we would eat there again on our second night, but they refused us service as they said reservations were required. However, when we checked in, we were not informed. I think they were short-staffed which is why they couldn't take us. We had to eat food from the adjoining convenience store. It was very disappointing because if we had known we couldn't eat there, we would have eaten in Noborobetsu-Onsen.
The location is not great but they do offer a free shuttle to the bus station where you can get the shuttle to Noborobetsu-Onsen.

restaurant - food taste good.
onsen - the floor is slimy & moldy

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The half broad meals are fantastic.
The public bath area is a bit old and not looks like a relaxed area. The outdoor Ibsen is very relaxing and comfortable.
3.6
Location difficult to reach. Onsen open to public and therefore crowded, especially on weekends.

Breakfast was excellent, we didn't get it included when booking the hotel, but decided to pay for breakfast when restaurant choices in the area was so limited. the breakfast was excellent and well worth the money!

no place for private showers, only public baths.
need a place with curtains and I little bit of privacy.
also I had to walk very far to go to the showers.
3.6
Location was convenient, near the exit of expressway but far from the main attraction e.g. hell valley, jigokudani.
There was no bathroom in the room!!! Everyone has to use the public bath room to shower. Not a proper hotel for family with young kid. The cleanliness of the hotel room and facilities were dissatisfied as well. I will not return to this hotel again.

Even though the property is about 5-8 mins taxi drive from Noboribetsu Sta. the hotel actually also offer free shutter both way which is very convenient to do sightseeing. The hotel also has a public bath and game center, it is really a heart-warming sight to see the local family come by to hang out and spend time together. For those who want a break from the busy city but still have access to great sightseeing spots I really recommend Kojohama Spa Hotel.
Nothing that I could think of. We really love this hotel so much that we are planning another trip to Japan just to stay here but this time we want to introduce our friends too.

The hotel is few kilometers from Noboribetsu, you can inform the hotel about your arrival and take the hotel shuttle, otherwise you'll have to take a taxi or local bus. The onsen was nice though not by the sea. From my seaview room window, I could see the Pacific from a distance. Hotel linked to the 7-11 next door which was convenient.

typical Japanese hotel
charged me for equivalent of two rooms when my partner arrived.

They have the special meiji milk inside the entertainment area, and it is delicious. Most big hotel in Japan don't have this, and I am grateful they supply that in the hotel. And the onsen is perfect, hope everyone enjoy it.
The place is a bit far from the central Noboribetsu, tooks me more than 30 min from hotel to noboribetsu jikoku mountain, and not much restaurant around the hotel area, and most of them don't accept card payment.

nice and quiet. hotel was very clean and breakfast was very nice.
no shower inside the room.

The room was nothing special but spacious and comfortable. We really liked the onsen, especially the outdoor part which looked amazing in the snow

Great place at leasiure time.
Most liked the tradition, and hot spring facilities

Bed was comfortable. Location remote and quiet.
Hard to work out the Shuttle bus. There are no details on the Booking site and they didn’t answer my messages. Luckily a friendly gentleman at the station called the hotel and we worked it out. Apparently you need to book before 4pm the day before.

First of all, the staff members were just wonderful. They were always friendly and helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed. This hotel had a great hot spring with different types (very hot one, outside, sauna, etc.) and connected to Seven Eleven, which was very convenient. The restaurant meal was great too. Although it is small (and it has its charm), there is a train station about 15 min walk from the hotel, where you can easily travel to Shiraoi (where the Ainu Museum is). I had a great time staying there and wished to stay longer. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit this region of Hokkaido.
It is not about the hotel, and those are very minor issues, but the beach you can easily get to from the hotel was a bit dirty. Also, swimming is forbidden. I wished there was a supermarket nearby as well.

The traditional room was very nice. The onsen was fantastic.
There isn´t a shower in the room, you have to go to the onsen.
