Couldn’t recommend this property more, 11/10. Justin and his team were fantastic with arranging all we needed, welcoming us, and going above and beyond with requests. Justin arranged a private cooking lesson for me with his chef which I would highly recommend. It is a small collection of private villas so there is complete peace and calm. The villas were luxurious and roomy for a couple and would definitely be a great place to stay for a family vacation. The food was by far the best and most authentic we had in Sri Lanka and outranked all other hotel food. Fresh fruit was amazing. The safari arranged by Wild Lotus was a stunning private experience to be remembered forever, with a comfortable Land Rover for the ride. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a super relaxing time here. The villas are very secluded and quiet, set back in a beatifully landscaped garden. The pool was ideal for cooling off. Breakfast was served on our terrace overlooking the garden and the Sri Lanka breakfast was delightful. Tuk tuks are on standby to whizz you into the Fort area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The outside bathroom and tree shower was a great addition and memorable with a couple of butterflies joining me in the mornings!

Great location just 5 mins by car/tuk tuk from Galle Fort. Kumudu is a great host and Eran was always on hand to give a tuk tuk ride whenever we needed it. Lovely garden and pool. Wonderful breakfast.
Nothing. It was a great stay.

Kumud, the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The place is very well kept, has a beautiful garden and pool. The rooms are very large and have super comfortable beds. The bathroom is very special,...you'll have to find out yourself, we loved it!

Absolutely amazing hotel. The owner is so helpful and friendly cooking us home made food helping us with transport and anything else we wanted. The staff especially Eran were fantastic giving us lifts in his tuktuk and playing with our children. The whole place is spotless and clean and the accommodation is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had young children with us and we were very well looked after and were very sad to leave. Would definitely recommend.

Such a delightful little property! Just a little tuk tuk ride away from the town of Galle, in the midst of lush greenery, lies this beautiful property run by a family. The rooms are airy and spacious and well kept, the beds are comfortable and the open bathrooms are brilliantly designed allowing enough privacy.
The host is exceptional. We reached the property way before the check in time as we drove directly from the airport but he was kind enough to arrange for an early check in. The food was homely and delicious. There was an option for continental or Sri Lankan breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay at Ceylon Olive Galle. Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The design was beautiful with a great attention to detail. The hotel grounds were well-maintained and inviting, with a nice clean swimming pool. But what really stood out to me was the staff. They were all so caring and considerate, going above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

If you looking for a beautiful accommodation, where you have the feeling to be special, you find the perfect place in Galle.
We spent 4 nights at Ceylon Olive Galle.
It was amazing! Location is a “small” paradise, located in the nature where no other hotels are, but not so far to Galle Fort.
Our room, the garden and the pool was very clean.
During the breakfast which is served on our own balcony, you can see monkeys and get in touch with the nature.
The food was very delicious, one of the best during our whole Sri Lanka trip. Doesn’t matter if breakfast or dinner.
If you offer cooking classes, I will come definitely!
What we have to emphasize is the concept and the service.
Everybody has always a smile and the realise all our customer wishes, like special dish, more fruits and tea (tea is high recommended)
Everybody take care of us and we have very interesting conversations with Kumudu.
We will come again!

Kumudu, his team and his family are wonderful hosts and people. Always available to help, professional and discreet, yet personal, open-minded and open-hearted. Communication was easy at all times.
The premises are well kept, exude a feeling of tranquility and make you forget you’re still in a city. The lush garden around the pool not only provides shade, but also privacy to the two double rooms and hosts an abundance of birds, squirrels and sometimes monkeys.
The two beautiful double rooms with high ceiling are spacious, well-equipped, super clean, well-lit and feature a big bathroom with an open air (hot) shower in complete privacy. The beds are comfortable and have an airy and effective mosquito net. There’s a ceiling fan both in the room and on the terrace which was much appreciated as it keeps the mozzies at bay.
One of the highlights was the delicious, fresh and plentiful breakfast on the room terrace, prepared by Janidu’s mother.
I’m very happy to have found this place and can’t wait to return :)

Spacious and clean rooms with amazing outdoor bathrooms. The garden of the villa was fantastic and the pool beautiful and a great place to relax. The breakfast was particularly tasty and the staff nice. The owner was very kind to upgrade us to a family room after we complained that there was no hot water in the room we had initially booked.
It doesn't really feel like a 5 star lodging and there have been quite some misfortunes that didn't let us relax fully. It was the only place among the 11 we stayed in Sri Lanka that didn't have a generator, so morning and evening daily power cuts are unavoidable. Some strange loud sounds on the roof probably due to animals kept us awake at nights. Although card payments seemed to be available we were informed that due to the current situation this was not an option, so the check out lasted quite long until we found a solution.

Kumudu, his family and friends gave us such a warm welcome to this lovely property. Excellent, spacious accommodation which was exceptionally clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor shower. Kumudu arranged everything for us from airport transfers, a whale watching trip and other transport as we explored some of southern Sri Lanka. Lovely home cooked Sri Lankan breakfasts were served on our terrace. Eran was always helpful and available with his tuk tuk to take us to Unawatuna, Galle Fort or further afield. Thanks too to Janindu and Nadun for looking after us so well. We stayed at Ceylon Olive twice at the beginning and end of our trip, it was a great base from which to explore. Thank you all for making our Sri Lanka holiday so special.
Nothing, all excellent

The property is a small, family hotel with jungle garden and very nice swimming pool. Even we were very close to the city centre, we felt like in the middle of the jungle. A killer feature of the room was an outdoor shower - unfortunately there was no thunderstorm during our stay, but that's the reason to come back here! Superior hospitability of our host: He was helpful, very polite and we really appreciate his respect for guests privacy. We were served a great breakfact which was so huge that we had hardly eaten it.
Everything was fine, there is really nothing negative about this place.

It was such a very happy experience. We stayed in a pool view room with 3 boys for 3 days. There were a few mosquitoes, but it was enough to replace the beautiful scenery, and it was good to sleep comfortably because there was a large mosquito net in the room(It would be much better if you bring mosquito spray). The kids really loved the pool. When the children were playing in the pool, I could lay on the hammock and watch them, and it was nice to see the beautiful scenery from the room too. The outdoor bathroom was also very beautiful. It was my first time taking a shower while listening to the sound of rain(and in the rain😆) was very fun. Breakfast was good too, especially string hopper and dal curry, sambol combination was PERFECT! Kumudu and his staff were so kind that we were so happy while we were there. I definitely want to visit again.

such a great place to stay when in Galle, where you stay is behind the family house and you wouldn’t notice it is there. Its very quiet and spacious rooms.
All staff were so lovely and accommodating with anything and everything. It is out of the town/city so a taxi would be best for getting around. One of the best Sri Lankan breakfasts we had.

exceptional service, great staff. we asked if they have spring rolls for breakfast, they said no, but they bought and made just for us (perfect breakfast). i have never been to a hotel or an apartment with a better shower than the one in this property. lastly pool is really nice, you feel like you are somewhere off the grid, but in reality you are in the city

super value hotel. the apartments provide intimacy and complete comfort. it feels like one is sitting on the terrace at the foot of the jungle. we love the open bathroom. the terrace is huge and an is an extra room. the bed is big and very comfortable. the old town is not within walking distance, but 10 minutes by tuktuk. the breakfast is flawless. we once asked for dinner: it was a delicious complex curry. the garden is fantastic, the pool is beautiful and a place to relax, the vegetation is wonderfully designed and tidy. the staff is extremely helpful and smiling. the head of the hotel is a great personality. willingly solve any situation. we had an accident during our stay there, and he helped us like an old friend. thank you very much for everything! and we recommend this place to everyone

The Host (Kumudu) was very helpful and did his best to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.
Clean and specious rooms.
The biggest issue we had - poor internet connection. It was slow and wi-fi signal was very bad. We ended up buying local sim-card.
Breakfast could have been better.
