Collecting the keys was not straight forward - requiring a visit to another property away from the accommodation. Not very well explained as to where the accommodation is, particularly in the dark.
There was one serious safety issue two and other issues regarding this accommodation;
The bi-fold door for the lower bedroom is a serious safety hazard should swift exit from the room be required during an emergency. The door closes in on itself when pushed shut and cannot be opened (no handle on the inside) without having to get onto the floor and prise it open with your fingers - however, once you manage to get the door to open slightly, the top of it catches on a steel pillar outside the room preventing it opening fully without having to work it back and forth! If there were a fire and the occupant of the room was not aware of the malfunctioning door, the result could be quite disastrous.
A second hazard was that there was no anti-slip mat provided for the over bath shower and the bath surface is not non-slip. I am an able bodied middle aged person and found it quite dicey, it's a simple fix that could prevent a possible accident.
We arrived for our first night in the dark and when I tried to lower the venetian blind in the lower bedroom, it came away from the ceiling fixing, jammed and could not be lowered or closed. I reported it immediately as it was still during business hours. The following day nothing was done to rectify the blind. I called the managing agent again who said it had been referred and will refer it again. The follow day I called the managing agent only to told that the owner would not be replacing/fixing the blind during our stay as it has happened a few times before and are expensive to replace! I spent the entire duration of our stay (4 nights) in a bedroom with a very large window (approx 7 ft high) with absolutely zero privacy (there were builders across the road on scaffolding early each morning) and zero blackout for sleeping - I found it quite appalling that not even a temporary measure was attempted in order to provide comfort for a paying guest. I hope the owner has a similar experience in holiday accommodation...

How it has been restored is amazing. So modern and fresh yet it still felt like we were staying in a historic building. The main bedroom was beautiful and the view from the window breath taking. We didn’t put the tv on instead sat on next to the window watching what was going on outside. The info book was brilliant as well with some really useful bits in it like taxi numbers which we needed in the end. We seriously didn’t want to leave
We didn’t get to stay long enough!

The property itself was excellent, location, facilities everything from a -z was amazing.
The residents in the apartment block made a complaint that we were too noisy. Now I don't know what kind of block that is but having children walk around in the summer holidays at 4pm in the afternoon, naturally you would expect kids talking (all kids were under 5 years old). Felt like walking on eggshells in the apartment I was paying for...avoid if you have kids

Great view.Great sitting room.Comfortable bedroom
bathroom needs refurb.Shower head had sections missing and there were tiles missing too

Everything. Amazing building, amazing apartment, amazing view.
Check in was inconvenient. Too far away, too complicated and much harder than it should be for such an amazing property.
4.1
The location and space.
Had to go into town, a distance away from the unit, to pick up and return keys
4.1
Beautiful, quiet, overlooking the water
No dishwasher, having to collect the key elsewhere.
4.1
Sea view from the first floor window and the comfortable beds. Good choice of restaurants in the complex.
We couldn't open the downstairs bedroom window or blind. No tables to put drinks on, if sitting in the lounge which seems shortsighted. Art work!! The stupidity of the key collection and the unexpected parking charges
4.1
Great location, good development with nice restaurants and bars. Well positioned for boat trips, museum and the hoe.
No lift or dishwasher, not quite enough plates or cutlery. Really really loud seagulls!

This was a beautiful location and the property was clean and lovely.
The key pick up was awful and the staff was not helpful.....Yes we understood that they had a time frame to pick up keys but we were delayed due to extreme traffic on the drive and they gave us no option to pick up the key. This is unacceptable and needs to be changed if they want people to be able to stay. (an emergency drop off location or an additional charge even) It is hard to not recommend this beautiful property but the way we were treated to check in I could not recommend to anyone because things happen and there is a reason that it is called customer service that is all about making your guests feel welcome. Besides the key issue the directions to the property were not great either. As we were arriving in the dark it would have been very helpful to have a map or better instructions to find the location. Again very disappointed as the property is gorgeous but the staff and service way below standard for a property like this.

Beautifull location with great views
The bathroom really needs a tidy up, no handle bars near to the bath, the drain plug from the bathroom sink is broken, the bottle holders in the fridge are missing...

Great location, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. accommodation was very good and very comfortable.
Having to collect the keys from Plymouth town centre was a pain, especially returning the keys on day of departure as the door code didn’t work

Location was great.
Easy access to ferries and city centre
Property was not clean enough or well maintained. Not sure why it is called a luxury apartment.

lovely location in an area full of character. Location within Royal William Yard means there is access to an array of restaurants and bars on the doorstep or just a short trip into the town centre
When booking it isn’t made clear that a £150 security deposit is required - I had to search for this once it taken upon key collection. Would be helpful to make this clearer.
It’s somewhat inconvenient having to collect and return keys to the office located in town rather than around the property.
Although Royal William Yard is easy to find, the actual apartment within the building isn’t the easiest to find. Better sign postage and/ or directions would be beneficial.
There was no soap in the upstairs bathroom or kitchen
Blinds were broken in one of the bedrooms
Most of the lamps didn’t work
Have to pay extra for parking
4.1
Keys were picked up at an office reception 5 mins away from the apartment
Not a problem to find and get to providing you are driving
I'd suggest they offer to meet you at the location if you are using public transport.
There were many maintainance issues within the property
Lights nit working on stair case
Plug in bathroom didn't work
Blinds in bedrooms didn't close
Handrail on stairs was loose
Internal lighting is poor
Only lamps available
These are things that should be kept on tip of when selling and advertising as luxury apartments
All maintenance issues reported to the office
I would expect at the price advertised that you would get your parking slot at no extra cost but this was extra .

The listing does not tell you the details its on a few days before you arrive that you start getting the unusual requests from the property manager. The bad experience begins with the key pick up which is not at the location of the apartment it’s 2km away which if you don’t have a car is very inconvenient, then you can’t get the key until 1500! The manger is one of the rudest people I’ve met, your presented with a micro print couple of pages of T’s & C’s to sign on the spot, I saw in the comments since I booked 6 months ago a bloke got 10GBP deducted because he didn’t empty the bin! He’s the guest people, they also take 100 GBP as a security deposit that we wont see again for a couple weeks (not a hold, thanks for $5 international fee) even though you’ve paid for the apartment in full, when you finally manage to get to your apartment, its upstairs in a building with only stairs, then the apartment itself is two level as well so more stairs, the bathroom is water damaged, the two blinds upstairs are broken so you can’t block out the estate flood lights, half the stair case lights are out, 2/3 of the lamps are also out, the bed is average, no taxi service can find your building if you want to go into town, then at check out you have to take the keys back to the office 2km away again which we did at 0930, fortunately the manager wasn’t there so we could drop the keys in the drop box and get out of there. Then we get a call from the rude manager at 1200 telling us we are supposed to check out today, when we told we dropped the keys back at 0930 she said “where, what drop box?” ah the one on your desk!!!!! then silence. Let’s hope the 100GBP comes back.

Fabulous location with estuary views from sitting area.
Good to have 2 bedrooms as we were 2 friends travelling together.
Lack of side tables in sitting area and some dodgy art featuring naked young women.
4.1
Having to check in rather than just collecting keys from a key safe, we were time poor, and the information presented on the booking site didn't detail this practice. There was no after hrs contact service.

stunning view and beautifully equipped

The location was beautiful and the scenery was outstanding, lots of nearby restaurants.
Where to start!!! Picking up the keys was an absolute faff, only to be told on arrival I had to also pay an extra £150 deposit which I knew nothing about. My email clearly stated £10 for parking but when paying she wanted to charge extra (luckily it was honoured). The apartment itself was very minimal for a 'luxury' apartment, the blinds were broke, the window was covered in handprints and cobwebs and clearly hasn't seen a cleaning cloth in a while ! The seals around the taps were black and mouldy, there was what looked like a urine Stain on the duvet. And the best bit.... there was absolutely no washing up facilities - no sponge, fairy liquid and not even a tea towel... I had rinsed a few cups out the best I could with no facilities and left them upside down to dry in the other sink (no draining board) and they had the cheek to charge me £10 for leaving the dishes in the sink out of my deposit!!!!! Absolutely gobsmacked does not come close to how the customer service is. It was also mentioned that we left rubbish in the property- we emptied the bin and tied it and left it all ready for collection from housekeeping, it seems we were expected to remove it completely and then what? Take it to landfill for them aswell perhaps?! Not really sure what the cleaners get paid for in this place. Highly disappointed in this property and would not recommend, the cleanliness and the customer service is awful.
