This place was behind a storage area which was not mentioned before. It was warn out over the years. Dirty . There was pee in the toilet when we arrived. Kitchen was dirty, floors had grit on them. Spikers everywhere. Paint was chipped on walls and above moldings. This place was the worst of all I had rented. WE DID NOT STAY. It was CREEPY!
WE could wipe the stove with our fingers and remove stains. If that is painted every six months they need to repair patches in the walls and finger prints on the walls. This place is worn out and you need to tell people is is located behind storage garages.

While the accommodation was bright and there was coffee, tea, milk etc, there were alot of things that we were disappointed with.
In the kitchen at the radiator big chunks out of wall.
The bathroom was tiny, shower curtain didn't do its job as bathroom was always so wet and floor soaked after shower.
No where to put toothbrushes or no glass for rinsing ur mouth.
Mould and damp around all the windows,
back of wardrobe in room with single beds , when u open wardrobe the back is coming away, and big marks on door of wardrobe.
Main bedroom long dust strands that look like cobwebs, on corner of wall nxt to window.
( I have photos of all of this) no wardrobe or chest of drawers so there was nowhere for us to hang our clothes side table drawers to small.
In the main bedroom the lamp shades arent even screwed on just set on. Wont be leaving a good rating, Very disappointed
Very disappointed and certainly not worth the money, for what's being charged per night, with what's being charged you would expect this to be alot better kept. More up to date, I'm not happy with the amount of money we spent for what was offered. No view trucks and vans constantly driving in and out.

Although the "cottage" was probably perfect for travellers,I felt very despondent about my experience, when we arrived,it's basically off a work yard, off a busy main road. When we entered the property it was very cold and a very pungent smell of urine in it,we all noticed it.Granted the place looked clean the smell was very strong. The bathroom door wouldn't shut without SLAMMING it shut, this and the double bedroom had the same problem
The boys bedroom had a few hairs on one of the beds.
I contacted the host straight away and she did come around with air fresheners to mask the smell
Although I am grateful for her prompt response and friendly.manner we stayed the 1st night but left next afternoon (a night early)I just got roo annoyed about the doors and the damp.
I contacted the host to explain we were leaving early and apart from an updated booking notification I have heard nothing back .I explained what the shortcomings were.I do hope they take them on hoard.

The location was close to Dublin and even closer to the port for our return home.. It felt safe, secure and quiet. It is great if you are getting a flight or ferry home and need somewhere for 1 or 2 nights.
It was close to a main road and you can't really walk anywhere, plus lots of people visit the nearby storage facility.

Property exactly what we needed for our staff. Very helpful. I would definitely recommend

Location was close to where we were during the day which was Emerald Park.
I had to sleep on the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable. The mattress was awful & it didn't smell the freshest. Early morning traffic @ 5.45am isn't easy to sleep with.

it was very close to the airport. there was space for 5 of us.

Didn't have breakfast
Up dated a little with the bedroom furniture like a wardrobe , and tidy the seating area outside other than them few things it's a good place to stay .and if you could put a few taxi numbers in your book it would be very helpful

Use of a kitchen
Very cold even with heating on. directions into cottage ever so slightly confusing. went to the property next to the storage as advised but ended up being someone’s house which I just walked into. Didn’t realise it was the same driveway as the storage unit

Comfy with good facilities
Minor confusion over cottage numbers

very basic property
Had to contact host as keys not in the key box, heating broke in the room on a very cold night so had to sleep with clothes on. All in not a great experience.

Great apartment with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and loved the outdoor space. Host was available but didn't encroach. The shower was AMAZING! Would definitely stay again!
We loved everything

The heating was off when we arrived. Took time to look for instructions but once we phoned owner it was sorted immediately. Centrally it had been knocked off by accident.
It was during the really cold spell so the apartment was freezing when we arrived but it did heat up quickly.
That's the reason for the scores
Otherwise was perfect location for our needs at the time. It was clean and comfortable.
Could do with some more crockery and cutlery

Good location for visiting Dublin. Compact, but had everything we needed for a short stay.
Rooms were a bit cold when we arrived early afternoon. We werent familuar with the heaters in the property so it was fingers crossed, but when we returned a few hours later it was lovely and warm. It was the 1st Jan.

While there were some good aspects to this property - it was clean; plenty of towels; tea, coffee, cereal is available - overall I would not recommend it, especially to families with children.
Having previously stayed in Delphi Lodge, (which is a holiday home run by the same company and properly built with bricks :) , in a lovely location) I thought that Delphi Cottage was located at the same site and would be of the same quality. This was not the case. Delphi Cottage is not a cottage, it is a prefab cabin located in a small industrial estate (!!!) on the same site as a self storage facility. I have no idea how planning permission was granted for this dwelling. Indeed, was it ever sought? The entrance is on a busy main road. It is totally unsuitable for a family with children as the entrance is open at all times and random cars are constantly in an out to the self storage units all day. (There were no children in our party, thank goodness).
When we arrived the place was freezing. We stayed here in December, so this was not acceptable. The mobile phone coverage is very poor so my call to the host dropped before I could request heating. The heating is on a timer and cannot be controlled by the guests - so we kept our coats on for over an hour until the heating came on at 5pm.
There are a couple of apartments built into the prefab structure and when a door was closed anywhere, the whole structure reverberated. Because of the location and the quality of the structure, the whole set up felt very insecure. We did not feel safe.
The water from the shower runs across the bathroom floor, the cutlery is really cheap and flimsy - I have no idea where you could even buy such cutlery.
The price for our two night stay was almost twice what we paid previously in Delphi Lodge - I presumed this was due to rising energy costs or something, but in any case, it was not worth the money.
I've added a detailed aerial shot from Google Maps to this review so people can see exactly where it is located, This was not clear from the description. Just to be clear, this property is on an industrial site and it shares a common entrance with that industrial site.

The property was spacious and very clean. The shower was lovely, excellent water pressure. It’s a very warm, cosy property.
The only real down side is the location, but it’s still within close driving distance of any amenities.
