THE MOST COMFORTABLE STAY EVER

I loved the fact that the establishment is near the bus stop and I could move around the country with ease. The hosts were friendly and the breakfast consisted of healthy food. I could sleep like a baby as the other guests and the neighbourhood itself are quiet. I loved the fact that they had books in the lobby. It's a pity I didn't finish the one I was reading. There was also a supermarket just across the street. I found that convenient. Things I needed, like the ATM and phone chargers were within walking distance as well. I didn't struggle for anything.

The misunderstanding with transport from the airport. I booked mine and the establishment book theirs despite me saying I am sorted. I thought the driver was from my company, only to find that he was the one who was not booked by me. I only found out when I was asked to pay 25 euro, which is way above my price range, plus in fairness, I had already paid mine in advance. I explained to the host, she understood. I didn't pay it in the end but that made for an unpleasant check-in after a long flight.

Pas exceptionnel mais pour le prix il ne fallait pas s’attendre à mieux !

Hôtel bien placé proche de la mer et des arrêts de bus. Personnel agréable. Piscine sur le toit agréable.

Chambre très petite avec une forte odeur d’humidité. Vue sur un terrain vague.

Exceeded expectations

Everything was perfect and breakfast was really nice. William and the staff made us feel welcomed and maids were very pleasant.

Wi-fi was working really well. Staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is very well located, bus stops are really close and also many good restaurants are within walking distance.

Room was very very small (my take would be ~15 sqm), not in line with the pictures. By chance something fell under the bed and I had to take a look...probably it has not been cleaned since 1999. Air-conditioning with air jet directly on the bed, not the best for a night sleep. If you plan to watch tv, kindly note that It was impossible to watch it unless I was standing on the bed.

Na krótki pobyt ok.

Śniadania ok. Dobra kawa i ciasteczka. Ser żółty i wędlina, jajko na twardo, pomidory i ogórki. Można było coś znaleźć dla siebie. Dobre na krótki pobyt.

W dniu wyjazdu mieliśmy obiecany suchy prowiant, niestety mimo umówionej godziny na odbiór nikogo nie było i nic nie było przygotowane. Głośno w pokoju, gdyż okna wychodziły na ruchliwą ulicę.

Friendly & helpful staff, comfort could be better.

The hotel was close to the sea and boulevard. Staff was really helpful all along, especially when my partner sadly suffered from food poisoning and had to stay in bed. It's a cute & friendly guesthouse. We were able to order everything from breakfast to dinner during the day, which meant that we were not forced to set an alarm to have some breakfast. Great coffee & air conditioning.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. There were construction noises of drilling at 08:30 a.m. (during two days of our stay). We also didn't know beforehand that the Hotel is used as a 'hub' for language internship-groups of youngsters. Although they acted polite and decent, the coming and going of such large groups did interfere with our sense of holiday-relaxation.

Staff all friendly and helpful, particularly Kurt who seemed to be available at all times. Pool and area to relax on the roof was great. Books available to borrow was a good idea.

Uncomfy but worth the price

Very nice staff, helpful and always friendly. Localization is amazing, 100m to the sea. Bus stops are everywhere so if you’re traveling by bus you’ll have no issues. The AC works perfectly. Nice bathroom. You can’t hear any noises from the streets and that’s amazing cause the neighborhood is kinda loud at nights. There’s a nice terrace with a “pool”, we didn’t use it but I think that it’s a nice addition.

-VERY uncomfortable pillows, -it’s very hot at night so of course we turned the AC on because the air was so stuffy and we were freezing underneath this ultra thin duvet, -very hard bed, -dirty and calcified kettle made the tea and coffee nasty, -unuseful windows. In conclusion, next time I’ll bring my own pillow 😉

An enjoyable relaxing stay! Highly recommended! Definitely will visit again!

Quite place. Very clean room with an efficient AC, very friendly staff (it is a family run boutique hotel), nice roof top, easily reached as only a couple of minutes by walk (5mins) from Bugibba Square or the beach just down the road. Plus it offers nice breakfast (the owners payed attention to an intollerance) and good restaurant (very good dishes at reasonable prices). Furthermore, a welcoming night duty manager at same restaurant treated their clients very politely.

To be honest would have liked a shower tray in bathroom to avoid water spilling out from underneath the shower curtain. And maybe a little chest of drawers in the bedroom. But on the whole it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay!

Wished I had stayed longer

Excellent location. Useful facilities and a wide variety of eating options. Wasn't there long enough to use the swimming pool. Very helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble.

Not enough hanging space for wet towels. Quite narrow bathroom so going toilet was a challenge . My flight was delayed and thankfully they were already monitoring my flight's arrival time. I wish I had been offered the option to order some food for my room.

Visit Malta! Buccaneers an affordable option but not overly ‘boutique’

Decent room and facilities. Really good location and friendly staff. We had a small issue within our room that was rectified immediately after bringing to staff attention. Would consider staying in same area again with considering same accommodation option.

Excellent stay in Malta at this amazing Hotel.

The location of the hotel is amazing, yes it's not at the centre and a bit far but the location is really good as there are plenty of restaurants and super markets nearby. The centre can be reached via bus and it takes around an hour to reach the capital. The sea view is just 5 mins walk from the hotel and it's really amazing. The swimming pool is good as well. The beds are also comfortable and overall everything is very positive. The breakfast is also good and modest.

The water pressure in the toilet and shower is a bit less. Another point not related to the hotel but overall Malta is that if you are planning to travel during the working days, please keep in mind the huge traffic that happens during the morning and evenings if you are travelling to or from the Malta airport. Please plan in advance and keep aside a couple of hours for safety. ( Again, this has nothing to do with the hotel but overall everywhere in Malta and the hotel staff was kind to tell me about this)

Superb

An excellent price-quality ratio. Very nice town, close to the waterfront and shops, restaurants. The owners are very nice and take care of the customers. I gladly recommend to everyone who has a low budget for accommodation

Near a good pub

Right next to Jason's Pub which is a good value british pub that serve English food , good beer and the entertainment is also there if you like .

The rooms were a bit damp but I think that's because they had been closed down for a period of time during winter season.

Kind helpful staff. Good value for the cost.

Entire staff was helpful and kind. The bed was comfortable. All of my questions were answered promptly. The hostess Marlene and her husband were kind and helpful. The location is good. Right near everything you may need. Market around the corner. Near the Malta National Acquarium and waterfront promenade.

Everything was fine.
