Traditional Balinese style home hosted by Jimmy, who is also the owner. Very clean and very helpful host and the staff; he take care of all our needs during our stay including transportation, tour planning, food, etc.

The villa itself looks fantastic and the setting is amazing. love the layout with the rooms all being around the pool. The outdoor Lounge area was fantastic. for our large group.
There was no mention of the access to the Villa being approx 150m down an uneven path with no vehicle access. Also doesn’t mention that there are many large steps throughout the villa which made it difficult for my mother with limited mobility. The breakfast was just OK and the staff were hard to understand due to limited English.

The view is amazing. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Lounge area is so comfortable for large group, got karaoke set some more. Very close to the center, but secluded. Beds are comfortable and clean.

very nice villa, run by lovely staff. Jimmy the owner is a really nice guy- who was super easy to communicate with.
Just far out of Ubud centre to avoid the traffic and noise- but still a nice walk into town. great value for money.
we all loved staying at Villa Heron.

villa rustic and balinese feel. large rooms n loud bluetooth midi speaker avail. Great environment for parties. Breakfast has many options, fried rice, noodles, egg omelette, scrambled, pancakes. Juice, fruits, coffee/tea n bread toasted, staff will cook at the villa kitchen.
Large fridge, strong wifi, common area for group chats though they are open aired.
All rooms come with nets to protect u from creepy crawlies if any when u sleep.
Aircon was strong to cool the room.
very nice, polite n helpful staffs throughout our 3 nights. Able to speak n understand simple English.
No driveway & parking for vehicles. vehicle need to park by the narrow roadside & need to walk ~5mins into the villa. Difficult to arrange driver as they cannot park nearby villa to wait for u, instead we had to wait for driver to come as we waited by the road outside the villa. This is my biggest letdown.
Bathrooms should be fitted with hanging facilities to hang clothes, towels..etc.

The view and surroundings were exceptional, Jimmy the host went over and above whenever we needed anything and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The villa has a gorgeous pool and the rooms are big and nice.
There was some construction work going on next door which was sometimes noisy. Nobody's fault, just unlucky timing.

The whole experience was phenomenal and, at the end, we didn't want to leave. The villa's layout, decor, view, staff, value for money, everything... just perfect. Really can't say enough about it. Best way to experience what Ubud has to offer. Would suit both families and groups. Spent ages looking through the website for villas and am so stoked I chose Jimmy's. Well done to those guys!

Beautiful property with an amazing view that over looks rice fields! The staff are lovely and very helpful (the took laundry for us). Jimmy (the owner) was incredibly helpful with trying to book us excursions, transfers etc.
Slightly too far out of Ubud centre meaning you can’t walk, also the road down to the nearest shop / cafe is very busy and dangerous.. best to rent bikes!

The entire villa!

At the beginning we were a bit scared it would be a scam as they asked us for a pre-payment directly to some bank account, however it turned out legitimate. The communication was prompt. The accommodation was great, bigger than expected, and clean. The view over the rice terraces and private pool made it even better. The rooms were spacious, nice and clean with private bathroom. The beds were comfy with mosquito nets over them. The staff was present every day to make us breakfast and clean everything, including rooms. Jimmy was ready to help, providing tips for our program. After an agreement he took care of everything including transport and booking the activities.
Mosquitoes were present in the evening. This was inconvenient as the living room is outside, so I would definitely recommend bringing antimosquitoes spray. Also, we are not used to the staff being around majority of the time, so it felt a bit weird, however we didn´t spend much time in the villa anyway as we explored Ubud.

Spacious and well layed out. Options to purchase water or beer on site and free water refills.
AC didn’t work, louder than relative nature, no car access.

Villa Heron is spacious and comfortable with good facilities. The complex is in a U shape, with rooms and communal areas surrounding a pool, and all looking out of rice fields. It is up a walkway from the road, so very peaceful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and looked after us well. They provided a lovely breakfast each morning. it is about 1 km from the main town centre which is a reasonable walk, but the property provides a shuttle service during the day, and taxis are readily available if you don't want to walk
There was nothing about the property itself that we didn't like. The road outside is busy, but this is common of Ubud.
