I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful holiday accommodation in Ubud, Bali, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The place was not only comfortable and clean but also very well located. The friendly staff made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of the accommodation was the stunning pool and jungle view. Waking up to the sight of lush greenery and hearing the sounds of nature was truly rejuvenating. It felt like a tropical paradise. The people in Ubud are known for their warmth and hospitality, and the staff at this accommodation were no exception. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant stay, always ready to assist with any request or provide recommendations for exploring the area. The location of the accommodation was perfect. It was close to many popular attractions, making it convenient to explore the beauty of Ubud. Whether it was visiting the famous rice terraces or exploring the vibrant local markets, everything was easily accessible. Overall, my stay was wonderful and I’d definitely book here again.

It was good but could have been better.

Good: I liked this hotel - the location outside of the hustle & bustle of Ubud but close enough to get to where you want to go; large room with nice balcony; quite peaceful with zero traffic noise; huge pool with plenty of pool beds; delicious breakfast; friendly and helpful staff; beautiful gardens;

It has SO much potential here and I really wanted to like it but there’s a couple of things I really didn’t like. The air conditioner looked to be more mould than air con which was a bit of a worry. There was a gap around the main entry door which let in light from the shared hallway at night plus one of the biggest spiders I’ve seen in my life (& coming from Australia, we have some fairly large beasties here). And the “romantic” mozzie net over the bed was really old and dusty with holes in it - the bed would be MORE romantic without it. Also the bathroom toiletries were a bit random - toothbrushes provided but no soap. Just a little bit of work & TLC and this particular room at Desak Putu Putera Cottages could be amazing.

The staff was phenomenal…Ika at the front desk was one of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve met on my trip. Bayu also helped a lot. All the staff was amazing! Breakfast included was a bonus too!!:)

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, great food… but a big mould problem in our bathroom.

Very friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. Beautiful setting, fantastic pool! Location was excellent, not too far from town center and surrounded by nice cafes and shops.

Our bathroom was very mouldy, you could even smell it from the bedroom. Overall, the bathroom was in poor condition and in dire need of renovations.

Great place, amazing location

Great place, fantastic room overlooking the pool on 1st floor. breakfast was fine, staff always helpful, got us a scooter in one second and location wise it's just perfect. get a scooter to do all the sightseeing that are literally all there.

maybe the rooster next door could be a problem for someone but we woke the rooster up many days since we tend to wake up early :D

Amazing location if you want to be in the heart of Ubud

Most amazing location! Great restaurant and facilities like yoga etc. good value for money I would stay here again for the purpose of being in a good location only.

Not the nicest room, I know they have upgraded rooms which I’m sure are nicer. Very small space didnt feel clean.

The staff was very friendly, always smiling and available. We loved the breakfast, many choices and all very good.

The place needs renovation, the sheet were a bit old and the mattress too soft for our preference. Also the towels were old. With some adjustments this place can be very good.

Over priced and dirty.

The staff were nice, the pool was nice, and accommodating to a later check out!

The first room was very dirty and was next to the driveway so you could hear everyone driving in and out. I asked to be moved and they move me - which I was grateful. But then the walls were grubby, the bathroom smelt damp and the shower was dirty and the cups were dirty, there seemed to be someone else’s old tooth paste in the glasses that were presented as clean.

Disappointing

Good location, friendly staff, very reasonable price.

The room was weared, sheets were stained and torn. Lot of room for improvement in regard to cleaning. Ants and geckos in the room. Mouldy smell, I was looking forward to leaving.

Everything was great! From our arrival all of the staff was very helpful and welcoming, always smiley. Delicious breakfast with many choices. Beautiful place with amazing location,near center but at the same time with very beautiful backyard, felt like we were in deep jungles.

Breakfast was good in comparison to other places though nothing special. For the price and the location, the hotel is a great place to stay. Staff were very friendly. Very peaceful with its secluded surroundings. We enjoyed our stay.

WiFi needs to be better and the rooms were a bit worn. Cleanliness was a little lacking too.
