Owners were very kind and helpful. The room was updated and clean. Parking was across and up the street about 100 meters. Felt very safe and restaurants were within walking distance. The breakfast was very nice - fresh and local. They also had bottled water for us. The downstairs rooms would work well for parents and children.

We were really well looked after by our hostess. We were travelling the Western Front Way on bikes and she graciously did our laundry and let us clean our bikes in her backyard. Brilliant old property with history as a vegetable wholesaler warehouse ( I think). The upstairs room was comfortable and we were served classic French breakfast. Loads of great information on local WW1 visitor sites.
a bit out of town but an easy walk to the river and main sites

bkfast was wonderful. Host served u in their home. My wife and son and I were very satisfied with the comfort and quality. It was a wonderful surprise.
It was a little confusing at first but we did arrive late. Parking turned out to be wonderful and the rooms comfortable so I have no complaints. Will gladly return to stay here should we return to this area. We are from the USA.

the first impression was strange, but after entering the room I was very positive because it was very clean and everything was present
first impression, but that was only for some seconds. after I received the key and the manager showed me the room everything was great

it’s a very usual type of property, it’s like a little studio apartment with everything included. the bed is the best best ever, we both had a good sleep that night. the pillows and duvet are really good quality. the bathroom is absolutely beautiful and the shower is lovely. the room is very clean but cosy. in the morning we had to set off very early and couldn’t have breakfast so the owners packed us some fresh warm pain au chocolat- which was very lovely of them! wish we could have stayed for breakfast because they serve on the table in the room for you. Thank you for waiting up for us the night we arrived late and accommodating us well.
nothing.
may be as a suggestion for the future, an addition of kettle would be useful to guests.

The hosts were very friendly. We loved the location and the room - it was quiet, and an easy walk into Verdun.

The breakfast was simple but nice with homemade jam, fresh orange juice & bread. The room was very clean and it was great having air conditioning in the room and the use of a fridge in the hall.
Parking not ideal. Narrow and steep stair case to room.

Breakfast was very nice, it was brought to our room
At time we wanted with coffee, tea, best orange juice we have ever tasted, crossantes and other rolls, butter, jam, cheeses, ham. Free parking across the street, and lots of history in Verdun. We enjoyed it. Restaurants were many and good. Our host was very nice.
All was good.

See my previous review, except that I preferred a room downstairs. Otherwise it was a great place to stay, everything within easy walking distance and plenty of free parking.
The upstairs room had a very tiny bathroom, how I manage not to crack my head open is amazing.

The host was superb, a great welcome and he explained everything to us with the aid of Google translate. He informed us that the St Nicholas was taking place that evening and we saw a fantastic parade and a superb fireworks display. the bed was very comfortable and a lovely breakfast is served in your room. The is free parking about 100m up the road. We have amended our return trip overnight accommodation on the way back from Freiburg to stay in Verdun again.
I could not find fault with it

Wonderful people. Great homemade breakfast and hospitality.
A little farther than ideal from the center, but easily walkable

The B&B was very cosy, rustic, and spacious. It is only a 10 min. walk from the city center and there is free parking very close by.
The couple (staff) was very nice and accommodating, and you get a homemade breakfast in bed when it suites you.
We would have liked to have had two seperate duvets. Also the aircon stopped working in the middle of the night so we had to open the windows, which can be quite noise since the B&B is on a busy road.

Friendly owners, very clean place
WiFi signal was not very strong

The room was clean, the breakfast was modest but nice.
You could not open the window in the room as it only opens to a corridor, thus the room is quite humid and not very comfortable.
The lady showing us the room was very nice but doesn’t speak any other language than French, which is partly on us as well, of course.

Owners are superfriendly, cold rooms during hot summer, nice French breakfast. All at walking distance
