L’accueil

Nothing. The accommodation is poor. The dining experience is dreadful.
A hotel for local homeless best describes this place. Noisy people, barking dogs and non engaging staff.
2.5 / 5.0
room small,no air con but clean
the staff(2) didnt speak or understand any english and us basic french, just to order drinks we had to use phones to translate, now food choice was the shortist list ever, very poor, they advertise on booking.com so we all expected better, never go back again

A lot of free parking spaces, good breakfast
Slow wifi, small windows but nice view to the valley

Out of centre and near supermarkets and fast food restaurants.
Sat nav didn’t take us to hotel, had to look for hotels in Verdun on phone which took us there. Decor, rooms etc were tired looking, however was reasonable price

Very welcoming staff. Dinner was delivered to the room and was very delicious. Breakfast was satisfying. Wide enough selection.
It was difficult to communicate. I'm a newcomer and the staff didn't speak English.

the Restaurant was ok. Good Cooking, friendly staff
the Building is very old, and has been renovated only partly. Restaurant ok, but rooms and outside premisses old and tatty. A notice pinned on the wall in the room apologises that they cannot provide with central heating because of the cost and there is an electric radiator instead ( which gave sufficient heat).
The young man at the reception does not understand that they are far behind the expectations of clients staying in other hotels of this category…

good location
a bit dated. the room was a bit unclean.

Nothing
Very shabby room. Very small room and bathroom. No plug in bath. The whole place needed redecorating with new bathroom fitments. Smelled of stale smoke everywhere. Socket in bedroom hanging out of wall. Filthy ashtray full of cigarette butts on window ledge. Window covered in cobwebs. Unhelpful receptionist who didn’t give me a receipt for my cash payment and did not give me my change. All very poor.

The hotel was old-fashioned with the bed and decor dated. There was a telephone in the room but it was very old.
The room was frumpy.

It's all I would expect and want from a budget chain hotel. Being on a roundabout on the edge of Verdun it is easy to get to.
3.0 / 5.0
I chose the hotel as it was near to the Verdun battlefields. That served me well.
The hotel has seen better days and is need of a total refurbishment. That said, the meals were OK.
You must programme your satnav with the name of the Verdun suburb - Haudainville. Otherwise you may have difficulty finding the place
3.5 / 5.0
Basic accommodation along the route to our destination
4.0 / 5.0
Simple and basic room ideal for my needs
The hotel had a bar and eating facilities on site which all looked very nice..
I do not use them on this visit but for anyone looking for a ideal stay on the outskirts of town
Not to far from the local shopping centre and road network..
Then it's ideal..
The staff are friendly and helpful so no issues checking in or out..
Ample car parking is also available on site..
Only one socket in the room
Had a separate USB port under the reading lamp on the writing desk in the room but unfortunately didn't work

Really big, comfortable room. If you travel by car,a little attention is needed because of the thieves in the area.

Fairly priced hotel in excellent location just off the A4
Pillows not comfortable.
2.5 / 5.0
Cheap, good location
Tired looking, but worst was my room which absolutely stank of smoke. On arrival window was wide open so not so noticeable but later was unpleasant.

Very close to the motorway. Convenient stop.

Location very good, bed very comfortable, breakfast was good, staff very friendly.
Bathroom could have been cleaned better.

Good basic accommodation, decent breakfast, friendly staff
4.0 / 5.0
The guy on reception was very helpful and polite
The room was more than adequate for my stay
Clean. Fresh towels and sheets
Nicely furbished bathroom with jacuzzi shower if you like that kind of thing
Didn't use the on site bar and restaurant.. But the food I could smell from the room..
In reception it had a room for hooking up your laptop or phone if you want
Breakfast was a simple continental buffet
With a choice of coffee and juices
Can't tell you about location as I was just passing through and just needed somewhere cheap and resonable to stay..
Only one socket in the room..
Not a problem for me as I lone traveller

excellent location

The property was located sufficiently outside of the town, but close enough to some required facilities, restaurants, petrol station etc, the premises has a bar and restaurant however I did not use the restaurant just the bar. The staff were very pleasant and helpful as could be considering I do not speak French and their English was is good as my French but will muddled through and everything was fine.
The property is a little dated, the rooms could do with a face lift but as this was a single night stop over it met the needs it was required for
1.5 / 5.0
Dirty old venue.
Cleanliness
