Sehr gepflegte Anlage.

- Einfacher Self Check-In und -Out

Practicle location for touring around iceland. In the neigbour are a supermarket, we recommend to buy there because supermarkets on the road are rare. Rule number 1 buy something to drink when you see some.
Rule number 2 tank when you see one. You can drive miles without seeing a tank.
Beds could be combined, if your a couple you can fall into the pit of darkness. And your partner or friend can laugh at you for the rest of the evening

Clean and comfortable bed
There was a step to enter in the shower… dangerous if the floor is wet

Lovely location and cute house
Steep stairs was a surprise. Also the beds were not very comfortable and an extra set of pillows would have been appreciated. There were extra pillows on site but no linens for them.

Easy contactless check-in.
Nothing close by in terms of variety of food, things to do - had to drive to access these things.

The staff was unbelievable. Available to answer any questions and extremely helpful

There was no breakfast and restaurant downstairs was closed
Code-opening of the room was a bit challenge, because it often did not accept the correct sequence and we had to try 3-10 times.
Also the door to bathroom cannot be closed totally, it is possible to see inside a bit with closed doors

The check in process was easy. You will be emailed a door code the day of your stay. We were a little apprehensive- in case we did not receive the code, but it turned out great. After checking out, one of the travelers with us left something in his room. They messaged us and we were able to return to the hotel to retrieve it before venturing too far. Definitely went above and beyond. Room is spotless, bright, comfy beds. Great stay; we would recommend.

Good place for a one night stay. It is very basic but clean. Good communication with the owner.
It would be nice to have a microwave. Light bulb needs changing.

clean, easy self check in, and I guess the price is kinda fair for what you get.
Honestly If I had known it was a building in the middle of an industrial place I wouldn’t have booked it. It wasn’t the nicest place to stay in. The room smelled funny and the sheets were old. If you’re on a budget then it’s a decent place to stay but otherwise there are nicer places.

Too much industrial noise in the area to have windows open; too stuffy with them closed. Not a good area for a hotel.

We had an enforced stay here for 4 nights due to the recent huge snowstorm which prevented us getting to the airport. What a lucky, lucky find. The superior room.. which was the same price as the standard room... was large, modern, clean, warm and really comfortable. We were maybe the only people there some nights and the weather was truly awful, bad enough to not be able to go out so we really appreciated the TV, the good WiFi and the cafe at the service station opposite which meant we could at least get some hot food. There was a supermarket and off-licence within a 10 minute walk... Nothing much else was open due to the weather...Thanks must go to Linda and her staff for responding quickly and kindly to our requests, even bringing us a gift of cans of cold, Icelandic beer to see us through the long evenings sitting out the storm. That was delicious, thank you! Thank goodness we got marooned near to your lovely guesthouse.. It made what could have been a very stressful, frightening experience much easier. So many were stranded on the roads or at the airport in freezing temperatures we considered ourselves so fortunate. I would definitely like to go back in the summer and do some of the tours arranged by the family. Takk once again Linda 😊
The weather! Nothing to do with the hotel of course 😂
