Nice room, very clean and super cool outdoor shower. The pool was refreshing and it was nice that the lodge was outside the park making it not necessary to buy a ticket while staying in the lodge.
Breakfast time was online 6-9am but they were very kind and flexible for late risers like us and prepared breakfast only for us later.
Food was genuinely good but overpriced for what you get. It was a fixed menu which is fine and totally understandable given the limited supply. It was a set 3-4 course meal, you could chose to get the main plus $5 per additional course which is a lot for what you get (e.g. very small salad, very small cake)

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The premises are beautiful and we liked the outdoor shower.
It would be nice if the doors can be shut better so that no insects can enter the bungalows. Also, the room was a bit small.

The rooms are quite new and they have wifi connection. The Lodge is close to the HQ of the National Park (around 20 min to the park entrance, 15 min to Murchison Falls). The food was good but expensive (30 USD for starter/main/dessert). The first night there was a buffet (average quality); the second night I opted for the main course (beef steak with potatoes for 15 USD), which was tasty but the portion was very small.
The service was not commensurate to the price (USD 89 per night for single use incl. (basic) breakfast): the cottages are new but quite basic - no hangers/place to put clothes; the sink is in the roon and the toilet was only separated by a curtain instead of a door (not an issue for a single person but might be a problem for a couple). During the evening, the light in the room was very dim, so it wasn't even possible to read without a spotlight. Since the lightswitch was next to the door, I had to use the light of my phone again to find my way into bed through the moskito net. On the first day, I only had a cold shower; the second day, the water turned warm when I was almost done showering; during my stay of two nights, water in the room was not refilled (there are no shops nearby).

The pavilion we stayed in was pleasant with a big very comfortable bed and mosquito net. My partner liked the outdoor shower. The environment is pretty and the dining room pleasant. The place is well taken care of and so were we by very kind staff. It has a watchtower with chairs with a fabulous view. The breakfast was good, it was simple with good coffee, fruit, eggs and toast.
The terrace rather small and the settee on it also. The room was rather small with a basin. The outdoor shower needed some time to have the hot water running and did not have a space apart from the floor to put a towel. Maybe a little hook would be convenient. The toilet was separated from the sleeping space by a curtain, which did not give a sufficient sense of privacy. Although the food was nice it was pricy compared to other places and is only served at certain hours. We felt it could benefit from a bit more flexibility, but maybe we were just a bit out of the ordinary as were were not on a tour with a group.

Quiet ambience and it is located nearby to the national park. I particularly love and enjoyed the outdoor shower with strong water pressure.
Service staff were friendly and helpful.
Our room was extremely hot like an oven in the afternoon due to the west facing sunset direction. As such, we couldn't enjoy sitting at the verandah in the afternoon or early evening.

The outdoor shower
One of the more expensive properties we visited and I have marked it down for ‘value for money’, but considering it’s a community project, it seems like money well spent.

The staff were so wonderfully helpful, sweet, kind and friendly. They anticipated everything and provided wondefully for us - I particularly liked the turn down service that included arranging the elaborate mosquito netting and closing the canvas screens and the cold towels provided on return from our day out at the park. An utter delight all around
Two nights wasn't nearly enough!

I loved the outdoor seating area and outdoor shower.

the people working there are very friendly.
it is very clean.
the food was not that good for the price paid.
it is very overpriced for what you get for.

The food was delicious. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel complex with beautifully appointed and impeccably clean rooms, great bathrooms and showers, lovely surroundings, and friendly staff. Fantastic value for money.
The dessert options were quite basic and at time didn’t feel like good value for money. They only thing that would have made it better is if every room had wifi connection as some don’t.

The Location was suitable and of help for visiting the waterfalls and also for going in safari. this can be organized at the hotel, and the hotel supply a breakfast to take with you for the early morning safari.
The rooms were excellent and unique, these were constructed from Bamboo and had a lovely outside shower, and really gave the impression you were living in the environment, and not just in a hotel.

Amazing location. Great staff.
Beautiful resort.
No fan.
Mosquito net had holes. Lots of insects in the bed.

Best lodge in the park. Very friendly staff, excellent service, everything has been thought of, even a campfire in the evening. Nice view in the tower, here you can also have your food and drinks delivered. It's not cheap, but then you also have a top experience. The outdoor shower is the most beautiful you've ever seen!
Nothing.

The place was amazing, sustainably created and exceptionally well appointed. The rooms were enormous and the proprietor kindly showed me around the recently completed lodges aimed at backpackers, of which he was justifiably proud. They were lovely, affordable and with everything needed.
The open plan restaurant is well appointed and there is a stunning viewing platform nearby where you can eat and enjoy the surrounding scenery if you wish.
The place is quite remote, so I'm glad I changed my original plans to travel by local bus (as there aren't many) and arrived with a vehicle and driver instead.
I had an amazing stay, I did a safari and visited Murchison Falls, which were breathtaking!
Highly recommended!
Everything was great, no criticisms!
If I could change anything it would have been to book a backpacker's lodge instead, as my room was huge for a lone traveller.

A high quality Lodge in the middle of Murchison Falls Park. Bamboo cabins are awesome with great design, great showers and great views. Amazing service - Mat was in touch with me via whatsapp from my inquiry all the way throughout my checkout. Staff helped arrange game drives for me, even pre-packed my breakfast for me.
Food is great, nice show during dinner.
Nothing not to like.

Nice location, next to the gate to Murchinson and close to Parra. Nice tower to overlook the area. And large spacious rooms. Good beds!
There are not many facilities. No pool, no terrace, etc. This lodge is still in development. Wifi is only working in the restaurant.
4.5
The location was very convenient, close to the entrance park. I liked the style of the lodge, it goes well with the location. The staff was also very friendly and helpful and personally I found the bed comfortable, despite other comments saying that the bed was too hard. The staff made sure to prepare a packed breakfast for me, as I was leaving for a game drive early in the morning. That was also much appreciated.
Probably a bit too pricey. I understand that it is difficult to ensure supplies and access to water and wifi in such location, but I found the price of food and stay a little bit too expensive for what it is. I paid 15 USD for just the main course at dinner and it's almost the price I would pay in Switzerland.

Clean & spacious. Staff were brilliant & took into consideration our schedule - had our breakfast & lunch ready according to when we were available. They even booked our boat trip tickets for us which saved us time & hassle.
Very secluded area with nothing else around, difficult to find at night as we had reached there in the late evening.

Gorgeous lodge on the southern bank of the Nile, just a few minutes from the park entrance. The rooms are beautiful, with high ceilings and large windows. The garden has been beautifully laid out. Food is good, too and the staff was very attentive. Wifi in the rooms is a big plus, too.
