Very large bedrooms and bathrooms and bedroom has a fan. Has balcony to sit out. Elephants roam in the grounds. Lovely setting and close to park entrance. Small pool but nice. Food good. Staff friendly.
No Wifi in rooms, water pressure low for shower.

Went with my wife. This facility was affordable and the staff was very nice. Always there when we needed them. The scenery was also magnificent. We could see buffalo grazing and had elephants visit the lodge once in a while. We had most of the activities we did in the game park organised for us by the lodge which took out any inconvenience we may have had.

The cottages are very clean and spacious. Together with the pool and sitting area it really is a fantastic place to stay. The staff is super friendly and the food was the best we have had in Uganda.

Excellent location. Nice pool. Spacious restaurant building with good wifi.
We reserved two rooms for 4 adults: wife, me and two daugthers (19 and 21). But actually one room was enough, because the two beds (per room) are both double large beds. The rooms are very spacious, so very easy to sleep with 4 adults in a room.

The lodge was beautiful and our cottage was equally gorgeous, spacious, clean, stocked with waters, and the fan kept us cool all through the night. The staff were more than attentive, remembering our names, checking on us, preparing meals timed with our activities, and coordinating all our activities in the park. We were able to show up and simply enjoy our time with their coordinated plans and meals. The value for this lodge and service is great-don’t pass up this spot for your next safari!

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and supportive, provided solutions for most of our questions.
Water Buffaloes and Elephants passing by our cottages in the night was extremely pleasant and a unique experience.
A water hole is lcated in front of the lodge with herds of elephants and water buffaloes approaching to take a sip: perfect sight!
Noise I: The pool, that some of you might now well enjoy has been constructed during our stay: from 8am to 7pm we heard constant construction noise. Issue could not be completely solved by the management, so that we had to sort it out with the workers.
Noise II: During our stay the power was cut off for more than 2 days in a row, which lead to the generator to run for this time. The generator is located between the 3 cottages on the right side of the premises and hardly isolated for noise.
Noise III: The lodge is located ca. 500m from the main road. The main road has massive speed bumps, which create loads of noise from empty trucks trying to crawl over them. This is especially challenging in the night. Noise of the generator helped ;-)
Noise IV, somehow funny: some guests brought their portable boom box to play their favorite Ugandan music to their pleasure. Since it was not to our pleasure, we asked them to tune it down. They refused and made almost racist comments towards us; we did not take them seriously, since the guests were drunk. We took over the boom box via bluetooth and muted it.

Styling and decor
There is need to create a fire buffer from the hedge to the cottages.
Breakfast needs to be upgraded

Convenient as it is central in Queen Elizabeth Park between Kazinga Channel & Kyambura Gorge. Rooms are reallly big and you can watch animals crossing in front of your room. Everyone very nice and friendly. Food ok though not exceptional.
Wifi is having ups and downs. Not their fault but Muezzin from the mosque nearby will wake you up everyday at 5am. There is a bathtub in the room but the water heater is not strong enough to handle a hot bath so dont try it.
4.2
Location, very close to park entrance and possible to spot game from the restaurant terrace.
Poor staff service, the rooms are very basic, electricity and WiFi is not guaranteed, food is also very basic. Overall very overpriced lodge due to its location.

The lodge was amazing, it was right on QENP with all the animals. We were fortunate enough to see antelopes, buffalos, hippos, birds, and elephants that came right up to the lodge where we were staying. The rooms were huge, with giant beds , tall ceiling, a spacious bathroom and a lot of space to relax. Outside there was a porch to watch the sunrise and sunset, the animals and the Rwenzori mountains in the distance. The staff were so sweet and attentive, they always made us feel comfortable. The food was excellent with our orders being taken for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. The food was always fresh and delicious.
The WiFi stopped working halfway into our stay, but it wasn't a necessary with the views we had. Additionally the beds were slightly hard.

On arrival, the staff brought us fresh juice and warm towels to freshen up. Rita, in particular, was vey informative and made the whole checking in process very easy. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and very private. The resort is well located and sign posted from the main road. We were very impressed with the service, rooms and hospitality shown. Thank you Buffalo!
There could have been a wider variety of vegetarian options for the evening meal.
