Home from Home

The owners really took pride in the whole enterprise and made you feel most welcome. The breakfast was super and cooked to order. Room facilities were excellent too with comfortable bed and updated electrical and bathroom features.

I rather liked the fact that it was a 10/15 minute walk into Knysna but some may find that somewhat arduous.

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt!

Das Guest House ist super modern eingerichtet. Ne Es wurde im letzten Jahr mit viel Aufwand saniert und modernisiert. Wir haben im Bett sehr gut geschlafen. - wirklich außergewöhnlich gut ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Außerdem ist der Ausblick, trotz der Lage an der Hauptstraße, wirklich super schön.. Die „Innenstadt“ von Knysna erreicht man zu Fuß in 10-15 Minuten. Wir haben von diesem Guesthouse sehr viele Ausflüge gemacht (Whalewatching, Tsiskikama Nationalpark, Plattenberg Bay etc.) und alles innerhalb von 45min Fahrt erreicht - also auch dafür eignet sich die Lage. Außerdem haben wir von der Managerin super Tipps rund um Essen, Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten bekommen.

Wir haben fünf Nächte hier genächtigt und somit kam uns das Frühstück relativ eintönig vor - gab aber für diesen Preis trotzdem nichts zu meckern.

I’d definitely stay there again if needing guesthouse accommodation in Knysna.

I loved the look of the place. Inside and outside. It has easy access from the main road and is in a convenient location. The hosts were also fabulous.

Ceciel and Colleen are very hospital en friendly people. They advised us were to go and were to eat. The Guest House is A gem stone in the aeria. we stayed an extra night becauce we liked it So must.

Wonderful hosts and hospitality and lovely food. Beautiful view from the room.

It is close to the N2 and there is road noise, but it quiets down in the evening. We spent 3 nights and didn’t notice it much after a while.

Fantastic Hosts

Excellent hospitality, Colleen and Cecil went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Delicious breakfast cooked to order, spotlessly clean room and very comfortable bed as well as an efficient laundry service. Their tips for local restaurants and golf courses were spot on. The hosts have a wealth of local knowledge and gave us a lot of useful advice. Was a genuine pleasure to spend 4 days here.

Brilliant Weekend Getaway

Very friendly owners, welcoming to a group of runners and non-runners for an ideal weekend break! Colleen and Cecil were extremely accommodating, bustling with information about Knysna and surrounds and were kind enough to arrange shuttle services and bookings for dinner for the group. Brilliantly tucked away, but ideally close to the Waterfront, shopping Centres and the Knysna Marathon finishing field. Can't wait to visit again.

Peace, love and joy!

We had a lovely breakfast on the veranda overlooking the lagoon. Colleen and Cecil were excellent hosts and made us feel right at home. Colleen had a host of info on what to do in Knysna restaurants etc. which was very helpful.

Warm and friendly hosts. Colleen was very kind to accommodate late check-in request. She even recommended to have breakfast in the balcony overlooking the lagoon. We enjoyed having the breakfast with those views!!

Iron was unavailable in the room though it is mentioned. However, we did not enquire about ironing facility.
