The food was good! Staff was attentive and accommodating.

Beautiful, very clean house, in a great location. Close to the bus or walking distance to the heart of York.
The room was very spacious, beautiful and clean. Huge and very comfortable bed. Beautiful and very clean bathroom.
The service was very nice and helpful.
After entering the room, we felt an unpleasant smell of bleach, which disappeared a few hours after opening the window. The room was quite warm and stuffy. A fan would be useful.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Amamos tudo!

Lovely hotel, polite staff. The bed was very comfy, and the location is perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, even left us 2 bars chocolate on our door handle 🥰 .. Will definitely come back.
The only thing I can say is the bathroom was a little small, but I guess things like that can't be helped 🤷🏻♀️ .. other than that, there was nothing to complain about.

The Bed was comfortable and the room was cleasn
This is more like airbnb than a hotel, not manned after 6pm and just leave your key in a bowl when leaving. Except the two minutes when we first arrived we did not see the staff at all.
The room description is a bit misleading to what you actually get. In the description the room says garden views and wine /champagne in room. Our room had street view, no wine/champagne. Also no food or drink is allowed in your room, unless bought on the property, which there is no facility.
The shower in our room was really bad, you got about a minute of hot water before it went cold and lost all pressure.
Also, the ceiling in places in the room was very low, im 6 ft and during the night i smacked my head and back.
Personally i do not think the £185 i paid was worth it, especially when the same room the next night is £80.
Overall we were left a little disappointed as this was a trip for a wedding anniversary and did not feel we got what we paid for.
We would not recommend this place at the top end price and wont be stopping again.

Size of room. Beds comfy.
Only one bed made up, Room so so warm and stuffy no air con, car park tiny and a nightmare. Staff hardly understood a word we said.

Breakfast was very tasty and dairy free options available.
Charged for parking but this was not obvious until we had arrived, parked on site and were then told (with the rain pouring outside) parking was extra.
Room was comfortable but dated.
Sleep was greatly disturbed due to a lot of noise coming from room above us. Woken multiple times.
No response from owner when prompted to contact them regarding my concerns.

Beautiful decor, cosy and clean, with easy after-hours access and a delightful little tuckshop for snacks!
It's a bit of a trek to and from town, especially at night, so I found myself catching Ubers, which were about £5-7.

Nice comfortable room with good facilities in a great location.
Nothing I didn’t like - everything was up to scratch

The TV worked eventually after I worked out how to get it onto just normal TV channels otherwise I was just disappointed with the room after paying £81.00 for the nights stay.
This is not a hotel but just a bed and breakfast old Victorian house so felt duped on booking.com that they need to remove the title of ' hotel ' , the room I had booked was so small and has the smallest bathroom that I have ever stayed in which i named the 'Hobbit room' if you are over a certain size you will not fit in the shower and I think a mouse would have difficulty in having a wash in the basin ! However to be fair it was clean & tidy but due to the way that the shower had been installed you ended up standing in 3 inches of water as it was taking so long to drain away ... There is no bar in the B&B only breakfast in the morning which I was shocked to find was £ 15.00 per person + £10.00 per night to park your car overnight in the driveway of the B&B !!! Maybe the other rooms in the B&B are nicer but its definitely not a HOTEL !

Located within 10 minute walk of city walls.
Parking available although limited
Very hot in top room although fan provided.

Quiet. Plenty of replacement milk and tea. Shower gel etc fine.
Very steep stairs. No personal contact, which is essential when staying in a new city. Local knowledge is important regarding transport and local eating places. Even when we left there was little hint of a smile, did we enjoy it, just made us feel somewhat unwelcome. That was our first contact with a human! Unfriendly.

Room was large with a sofa in the room. bed was massive best ever sleep.this hotel was value for money at £85 per night. The area was quiet aswell. If you like to get your steps in then this hotel is for you take in all the lovely buildings as you walk to the city
Shower was poor freezing cold to very hot on the night but morning shower managed to get proper temperature. Shower hose was broken at the top. Not sure how up to date was the pat
testing the extension had 2017 on. All these can be rectified easily so don't be put off.

We loved everything.

Really clean, well run facility. A lot of the check in process was automated which made things very easy. The location was also excellent, with easy access to city centre.
No human interaction - although we didn't stay for breakfast so that will be mostly why.

they had a few things to buy
room was tiny! tap was very loose, parking for 4 cars and i think was 11 rooms.
