We stay here on a regular basis , would highly recommend .

Very friendly staff , parking can be a bit of a problem .

The cafe attached to the hotel , we had breakfast there , staff were a bit offhand and unclear about what exactly was on offer .

Good view of the river

Very nice location by the river and convenient for the art gallery I came to visit and also for the town center coffee shops and restaurants etc. Nice view, swans on the river.

No problems really, it would be nice if the tap on the washbasin had a marker to show which way was hot and which way was cold.

Room was ok

Went down to the bar only to find the staff were closing off sections of the bar at 21.30 by 22.00hrs they had the front door closed,it give you the impression they didn't want anyone there,were more worried about setting up for morning breakfast, didn't feel comfortable in the bar so we left.Also where you could park in the council yard you no longer can,end up walking a distance.

5 star pricing for 3 star accommodation

The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was good

The rooms were clean but incredibly basic, there was no fridge, no glasses for a drink, not even a box of tissues. The price for the night was equal to a good hotel in a major city and the view from the room was very poor although it was a riverside hotel we could only see a local street. There are 28 rooms on each floor, 8 of which don’t have views of the river but this isn’t disclosed in any of the room descriptions. I was told the rooms with a view were not much more expensive but what we paid was very expensive for what we got. Spend your money on a hotel that supplies the accomodation that matches the price you’re paying

We as a family have been staying Sligo for the last 30 years. Wish we heard about this hotel years ago. We really loved

It was a lovely hotel, staff so friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Pleasant stay spoilt by poor parking facilities

Location, breakfast, friendliness and efficiency of staff

Parking areangement. Too few hotel spaces. Complicated instructions for public parking Would put us off staying again I'm afraid

Würden wir leider aus Gründen der Sauberkeit nicht mehr frequentierten.

Frühstück war in Ordnung. Personal an der Rezeption, sowie im Frühstücksrestaurant waren super freundlich. Parken entweder direkt am Hotel, ca. 10 Parkplätze, oder unweit für 2 Euro pro Tag - das passt!

Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer, vor allem aber im Bad läßt zu wünschen übrig. Im Bad bestand dauerhaft ein penetranter Uringeruch …

Dobar odabir u gradu Sligo

Najvise mi se svidjelo osoblje. Jako su ljubazni i spremni sve objasniti. U sobi sve na svojem mjestu. Cisto, uredno, prostorno. Svakako idući put moj odabir opet.

Sto se tice parkinga, istina nemaju dovoljan kapacitet ali parkirati uz cestu i blizu ima nekoliko parkinga pa to i nije toliko problem.

this was a perfect choice for us.

close to shops and restaurants, the in- house restaurant was excellent. we enjoyed the walkable area, did a tour of the town and the abbey, and Dooley park.

Superb

Rooms simple but modern, the bathroom so clean (great the shower gel and soap with mint flavour), and at least but not as importance great staff, so kind and professional. A note in favour of the guy working at the reception desk sunday night, the 2nd of April: very very kind, very professional and friendly. He maked me like I was at home. When I'll do a jump to Sligo again Riverside will be my choice. Compliments everybody and greetings from Genoa, Italy!

Satisfactory.

The staff were very pleasant; I had access to my room early and the room was spacious and comfortable.

There was quite a lot of opening and closing of doors on the corridor during the night- not the fault of the hotel. The heating can be reduced..

Pleasant

Location is quite central. Breakfast is very good. Hotel is very comfortable just a few issues

Room was cold, the heater kept turning off must be to do with the thermostat on the wall at the door. The corridor was warmer than the room. and the windows/doors were draughty,. The river view rooms are great but you shouldn't have to close the curtains in daylight I'm sure there must be a solution to this without compromising the great river viewThis is unfortunate because its a great hotel and deserves a great review.
