An excellent location and a.very clean house with every facility needed..

Host left a cake as a welcome. Good coffee machine. Excellent kitchen facilities. House was warm on arrival and well heated throughout our stay. Plenty of hot water.

Only one bathroom ..No en suite bedroom.

We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer and enjoy the White Birds townhouse more.

The property was renovated and decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen was equipped with every appliance we could imagine. There was a lovely cake and other food and condiments for our use.The beds were very comfortable and there were more freshly laundered towels than we needed. There wasn’t a speck of dust or the slightest stain anywhere in property. The house is in the centre of the city.

It was just beautiful and we loved it. We had a car with us but we were being bussed to the start of our Saturday hike. Because it’s a townhouse there aren’t private parking spaces but we got to park at the hotel where the mountaineering meet was held. We had parking on the street for the evening and night. It’s pay parking during the day.

Charming townhouse, with a fantastic host!

Our stay at White Birds in Sligo was phenomenal! The townhouse was so charming and comfortable for our family, it came with everything you could need. The host, Paraic was very easy to communicate with, met us to show us the place and shared many recommendations that we enjoyed during our stay. The location of the place is perfect, just one block up from town. The little cake as a welcome gift was such a lovely gesture. Can't recommend this place enough if you are visiting Sligo!

The only thing that is needed are a few hooks or places to hang your towels in the bathroom!

Great location, everything just a walk away...

Great location, clean enough for us, mod cons and amenities in the house were great. Coffee maker, milk frother, dishwasher, wachine machine etc. Even an iron press for your suit! The communication was clear, check in seamless too. All in all very happy.

Hot water seemed to run out pretty quickly so had to have a cold shower which soon woke me up! Carpets needed a deep clean as well, but otherwise it was really clean throughout. The front rooms could also do with some horizontal blinds for more privacy.

Lovely stay

Very well equipped property , plenty of space and lots of personal touches which made it feel homely . Fabulous location to explore Sligo with good recommendations for restaurants and bars . Very welcoming host .

Hidden gem in Sligo

The location is great, very comfortable interior, bedrooms of a decent size. The welcome received and the recommendations given by Paraic.

Comfortable property, clean and bigger than the photos suggest, great location.

Great location but not in a noisy area. Kitchen seemed to be well equipped but our trip was short and we ate out, so didn’t really use it. Paraic was great, gave us top tips for the area and was warm and welcoming.

Pretty spot in a great location

Location was excellent, so central to town and easy access to Sligo County. Plenty of space for us as a group of 5. We didn't cook but kitchen appeared to be well equipped and we loved having a coffee machine. No designated car space but plenty of parking around so no issue. We would stay again. A giant bean bag is now on the children's wish list!

As a group of 5 with 1 bathroom and having to heat the water for showers, was probably the only thing. Not even a complaint, we just needed to try plan

the townhouse was extremely comfortable and the location central to walking to the city’s sites

the townhouse was simple and beautifully comfortable. The hosts were affable and helpful in making our stay in Sligo a great adventure. It’s perfectly located to explore all aspects of the city.

5 star - highly recommend!!

An excellent place to stay! We visited Sligo for a friends wedding, booked the White Birds Townhouse as a better value option to a hotel. More than price, the comfort of staying in a well furnished, clean modern house meant being able to cook our own morning after the night before breakfasts

I stayed with 4 women preparing for a wedding with one bathroom… which gave me a grand total of 46 seconds to jump in and out between them. If staying with more people be mindful there is only one bathroom, but this is a very small point for a highly recommendable property

Exceptional Family Stay

Family trip to Sligo (2ad 4 & 1yr old). Having done many self catering stays, it was the best accomodation we have ever stayed in, the kids loved the space. The location was superb, 5mins walk into town. The house was immaculate & modern, a home from home. The hosts went above & beyond for us, sharing their knowledge of Sligo. We cannot wait to return & spend many more holidays at this beautiful home -:)

Gorgeous, comfortable place in the heart of Sligo! Hope to stay again.

What a treat to stay at the White Birds Townhouse!! Our group of 4 wish we stayed longer. Paraic was excellent and able to accommodate an early check-in, which was so appreciated as we only had 1 day in Sligo. The entire place was fab and so, so comfortable. Gorgeous living room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom- and even a nice backyard with a picnic table for a nice sunny day.

The only downside (and hardly, because it was huge and beautiful) was the one bathroom. Still perfect and would love to stay here again!
