Volveré a los hoteles Viva

La cercanía a la playa y en general las instalaciones por su arquitectura.

Las habitaciones deberían ser mejor mantenidas, sobre todos los baños. En general todos muy amables, excepto uno de los chicos que atiende el bar cerca a la piscina. Es muy displicente y da la impresión que no le gusta su trabajo.

Muy bien!

Muy cómodo, todas las noches hacen espectáculos y fiestas. El entretenimiento lo mejor.

La comida, le faltaba calidad y sabor. El aire acondicionado no se podía regular, solo encender o apagar. No hay servicio de bar en la playa.

Nice clean rooms, lots of activities for the kids. The restaurants were fantastic

Great vibes

Staff were upmost courteous and pleasant. Beach access was great. The vibe was very relaxed and stimulating. Activities were quite fun. The food buffet was tasty enough and the drinks were well made.

Had a mishap with the security safe not working properly. Reported it when checking in but did not get reprieved until 2 days after when a maid found out, reported it and was fixed hastily.

Heel mooi resort. Relatief kleinschalig. Prima eten, genoeg plek bij het zwembad, leuk animatieteam, avondshows waren fantastisch, op loopafstand van centrum Playa del Carmen en genoeg activiteiten. Weinig Nederlanders, veel Italianen

I really enjoyed my stayed the property is beautiful it has lots of activities to do.

It’s not a super big property which is nice you can get around everywhere fast enough.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the buffet room I feel should have AC .

Disappointed

Beatriz was very understanding and helpful as the customer relations officer, as were all the concierge and tour booking staff. The beach was beautiful.

We had a problem with the smell and sound of the air conditioning in our room upon arriving. Reception did not display any urgency in addressing the problem, however, Beatriz was great in organising a room change and also organising to see a doctor. However, we were advised to keep the a/c running at all times which was not only quite cold and loud, but also resulted in an overall constant dampness and slippery floors. The food was average and the signage was not very allergen/intolerance friendly. Overall, not many dairy free or gluten free options. The best thing about this resort was probably the wildlife.

Very pleasant stay in a familiar atmosphere.

The location is good, inside a gated residential area around 15 Minutes by foot from the Quinta Avenida. The Mayan Restaurant food was very good. The normal buffet was a little above average. Staff was very friendly. The liquor/cocktails offer was diverse, but not the highest quality.

Only one beer brand, rooms smell a little like mold, but to be fair we got a new upgraded room upon informing the front desk.

Exceptional place and friendly staff with okay food quality.

The staff was extremely warm and welcoming and the beds were very comfortable. The beach was beautiful and the grounds were well kept.

The food really needs to be improved. Some things are okay but overall it was lacking the quality I would be comfortable eating. Especially the drinks. I mean come on how hard is that!

Great resort with lots to like - would definitely recommend!

The beach is fantastic - large, clean, with LOTS of chairs and a ton of trees so you can always find shade. The pool area was really nice too. The whole property is a good size - not too big - so the kids (teens) had the run of the place but could always find us. Rooms were a nice size and clean. Other resorts might be fancier but you pay a lot more for them too. For the money, I'd definitely recommend.

The food was...fine. Not amazing but a wide variety and everyone always found something to fill up on. Nice that the snack area where food is available whenever the buffet is closed included chips, guac, pizza, etc. The restaurants with reservations were good for something different.

Amazing hotel, I highly recommend this place

Everything about this place was amazing, beautiful hotel, beautiful room, beautiful swimming pool and beach. Staff is so friendly, I was impressed. We tried the oriental restaurant, it was good. I did not get the chance to book the mexican one cause it seemed to be a busy one, and it was fully booked. The buffet is good but after a while it seems like you always eat the same food so make sure to book at least one restaurant for a change (in my case we also eat out of the resort now and there so it was fine). In the morning, there was no bacon or sausages for breakfast. For me, it's okay, but my british boyfriend did not like that, haha. I would say it's expensive but it's probably the most beautiful hotel that I've been to. The service was the best and the Italian manager was very nice.

The pool was nice and also the food. The activities were nice but mainly on the sister Maya hotel.

All the nice things were in the sister hotel which is not adjacent. The rooms were very plain.
