Excellent choose for short or long term stay in Fort Kochi.

A well run (about 8 room) family-run Homestay centrally located in Fort Kochi. The rooms are well laid out with AC and lots of lighting. Drinking water is provided which we appreciated. Joseph and his family live on the property and are helpful gracious hosts.

Beautiful, charming, authentic, calming!

We loved the Fort Bungalow—it is every bit as beautiful as the pictures show, more so in fact! It is quiet and clean and calm, with practical comforts like great aircon and wifi. We will definitely return. It was the best place we stayed during our whole fortnight’s tour across South India. The host Joseph was incredibly kind, calm and helpful, and the hotel’s tuktuk driver Hussain was also wonderful and does great tours. We will be back to this beautiful and special place as soon as we can! Thank you, everybody at the Fort Bungalow!

Welcoming and informative

Joseph the host was cheerful and offering assistance from the beginning of our communications. The property is authentic and quiet although it is walking distance to most of the attractions.

There is nothing to not like, it is priced for a budget traveller and it is comfortable and the staff are great!

Wonderful colonial house in the heart of Fort Cochin but quiet area, very friendly & helpful staff

Very friendly staff helpful with bookings of shows or other arrangements and giving advice regarding the Biennale or other activities and attractions. Located in a quiet neighborhood very close to the center of Fort cochin, enabling a good night’s sleep facilitated through fan and/or ac. Wonderful house with nice and very clean rooms equipped with old and pretty furniture, a beautiful green Court, rooftop view and various lounges. Dispenser of fresh drinking water available.

It's proximity to some beach

There's no food, there's no parking. Rooms are very small. Totally not worth the money. We booked it for 3 days, and checked out after a day and dint get refund also. Very bad

Very recommendable small well-kept hotel; top grade

Personal speech; manageable size; very clean and well-kept by Indian standards (we could easily walk barefoot throughout the house); nice breakfast; very central location

I am so glad I picked Fort Bungalow, it’s a Must Do.

The property has been styled so beautifully even down to the door furniture, bed sheets , lighting, colour tones. everything has been thought about and delivers in spades. 11 out of 10 for decor.

Beautiful and well-located

A great family-run place to stay in Fort Kochi. The owners are very friendly, and we loved the fact that it was close to restaurants, tourist attractions and the beach. Clean, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. A lovely experience overall.

stunning

beautiful, beautiful house with lovely art all around. really comfy room with good air con and a good shower. very quiet, great breakfast and a lovely host.

not really dislikes but things that should be flagged, you need to pay in cash, booking.com suggested the payment would be taken by card before the stay but this is not the case. also, if stairs are an issue for you then this might not be the place for you.

A beautiful oasis

The property is beautiful, felt like I was a guest in someone's ancestral home. I only wish I could spend more time exploring the beautiful artefacts dotting the interior or reading a book sitting in the courtyard. The host is very warm and friendly, and he was so accommodating of my requests. I also had a lovely breakfast on a round table, sitting across and having the chance to speak to some of the other guests - the experience is so different from being at a cookie-cutter hotel (they all look the same).

Very beautiful building and the nicest welcome. The place is perfect to visit the old part of kochi. The owners of the place are very nice! The room are big enough and overall clean.

The bed linens had some spots, nevertheless they were clean.

We loved our stay at Joseph and Neetu's place. They are warm, welcoming and very interested in their guests. Excellent breakfast, beautiful rooms and inner yard, good location. Joseph arranges trips and transportation.

The homestay is insta worthy must try the rooms were very clean our 1st day in Kochi and the best stay we got was this. It is well decorated and have very much aesthetic vibe.

If you guys are planning to come by car parking can be an issue.

Very beautiful property, very pleasant stay.

The property is like an open haveli, very great vibe inside. Subtle yet beautiful decoration. Very comfortable rooms. A bed better than at home! And location was perfect.

Everything was perfect. Good value for money.

Everything was great- breakfast was fantastic, staff very helpful, perfect location and the place is absolutely beautiful! My favourite stay in India

The only thing I didn't like was that they keep a bird in a cage all day :( I'm sure Mango would like some freedom
