Prime accommodation in a great location

Reception liaised with us to find out our time of arrival to ensure someone could check us in outside of usual reception hours. Excellent location. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby or a short walk (up to ten minutes) to St Lawrence Gap. 2-3 minute walk to a very good beach. Bus stop very near for a government or reggae bus. Room cleaned every day by pleasant and hard-working staff. I have never had this for an apartment stay and the linen was also changed a couple of times during the stay. Staff also there to help when I was struggling to work out how to use the shower (I was being stupid, but staff were there whenever you needed them). Exceptional; Unique; Comfortable: Value for money. It is worth it!

What a wonderful stay! I have stayed at Melrose apartments several times before and this time was no different. The location is ideal (accessible and safe); The amenities - a home away from home. You get the value for your money. However, the customer service is beyond this world. The front desk as well as hospitality staff are exceptional. They go beyond and above to ensure that your stay is SPECIAL. I was upgraded to another room that had new mattresses etc. Although they were two (2) single beds, I connected both and made a beautiful big bed. The next day, the hospitality staff changed sheets to suit with other beautiful decors. What an experience. Another important thing that moved my heart - I did not get my bags but the staff was so supportive, caring and made several calls - all trying to assist me. I do not take this for granted. I am humbled by your hospitality. My sister at the front desk - you are AWESOME. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I encourage anyone thinking of a nice , cozy, accessible, inexpensive stay, especially family - that's the place to go! Keep up the exceptional service and I am hoping to be back soon. I love it. Shane

Four days well spent ..

The location..close to beach ...close to road ..transportation and shopping ..safe walking area...I enjoyed the nice sound of the vans horn traveling to town ..friendly people would recommend at your discretion if you can handle the steps ..

The steps was very challenging with my heavy luggage ..had I known about those steps I would've book a room on the first floor.but everything else was very good .

Great location, great customer service & clean rooms.

The toilet didn’t work. I had to pour water after every use. The sink in the bathroom only let out hot water. Everything else was good.

Convenient Accommodation

I liked that the apartment was in close distance to other facilities and nightlife, and also the beach. The staff were also helpful and pleasant in providing directions and transportation.

I didn't like that our room didn't have running water for some hours, and there was no cable, and the wifi dropped in and out very often.

When persons are on vacation they don't want to be distracted every morning before 10 am by cleaners

Safe and pleasant stay

I wanted to check a good spot for any upcoming visit. Yes, I definitely will return to this place for my next tours which will start in Barbados around the area. I arrived at night but is a safe and nice apartment, full of everything needful, also good street food eating around the place - walking distance. The receptionist was really kind, welcoming on a good level that is not as common in this industry anymore.

Maybe the AC can be a bit more powerful and a haidryer should not be a big investment neither to get those into.

Great area but Not comfortable.

Good location. I did like the kitchen in the unit. The front desk staff were fantastic very attentive and helpful.

The beds were absolutely horrible. We did not get any sleep. They are extremely hard. The unit it self is very dated it might have been clean but does not look clean.

Dirty , Noisy & No housekeeping.

Good Location

Very old room. Sink plugs all the times. Very noisy at night. Rough bedsheets. No housekeeping or towel change. Very bad internet connection.

I'll never stay here again

Closeness to the beach

The reception/manager is rude. Filthy accomodations, disgusting bathroom, no air conditioning except for in the bedroom. It's not baby friendly at all. The tile shower and floors are so slippery when wet my 1 year old slipped and fell.

Great quality and value for money

Exceptional newly renovated superior apartment. Well stocked kitchen- cups, plates, utencils, misc.extras. Large fridge with seperate top freezer, stove top burners, toaster, coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven. New stainless steel pots and pans. Dining table and chairs in kitchen. Seperate bedroom, large King size bed, very comfortable. Large balcony with patio chairs and table.

Good choice

The beach was just a short walk. It was close to restaurants and groceries. The patio was nice. It was a good value.

Solo Traveler

Location is perfect there is lots of restaurants walking distance. Worthing Square is walking distance with local food. Beaches are walking distance and grocery stores.

The bed sheets were uncomfortable it was like they've washed it so many times. I had to ask for another bed sheet to put on top because I was having a hard time sleeping. AC is only in the room but was keeping my curtain close in the living room so it wouldn't be too hot inside. If u are on a budget, it is worth it to stay there, especially if u just need a place to take a shower and sleep(hoping not to have the uncomfortable bed sheets)

Excellent value for a one night stay

Clean and comfy. Less than a block from the beach. Felt safe here.

Staff had said they arranged a taxi the night before for my return to the airport. Taxi never showed so I'm not at all sure they did. However the morning staff jumped through hoops to get me a taxi to the airport in time.

Pleasant stay, will definitely return on my next trip.

Great location (2 minute walk to a nice, small beach), friendly and helpful staff, all the needed amenities for cooking a short or long stay, warm water, and an air conditioned bedroom. Plenty of grocery markets and eating places within a 5 min walk. There's even a small food truck right next to the building that has very tasty, fresh, and healthy food options.

I would recommend providing paper towels in the kitchen and a small bottle of shampoo in the bathroom.
