Quiet place. Everything was clean. Family room was very good. Comfy beds. Owner Barbara nice lady. One of the best hotels I’ve ever been. Everything was in very good standard. Breakfast included. Suggest this place for everyone.

Location
Owners were so helpful, a personal touch, breakfast was brill, fab value for money
It does need updating. With just a little modernisation the property could command so much more per night on location but they obviously work on the personal touch, such lovely people, it’s low cost accommodation so you really can’t complain! We got over and above what we expected, thank you!

This property was so beautiful. Nestled back in a quiet setting. Plenty of space to walk. I love that the rooms had a mini mini fridge for milk. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. The breakfast was set out for us and it’s very peaceful and we had the entire floor to ourselves it was amazing. Will definitely stay on our next vacation out there.

Friendly hosts. Self service breakfast. Hot shower. The room was comfortable and clean and fine for our needs. Good description sent beforehand of how to get there.

The hostess was really lovely and very welcoming.
It was clean and comfy . It was not too expensive which is partly what attracted us to it .
It was in nice grounds .
Thought there was going to be a view of a lake and there wasn’t . Room and bathroom a bit tired could do with a revamp although we recognise it is an old country manor .
Breakfast is very basic .. help yourself to cereals/ yoghurt fruit toast and packet pain au chocolate .

Beautiful location, lovely room. Our host Barbara was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was thought of- use of fridge in dining room, cold fresh milk in bedroom, environmentally friendly toiletries.
Nothing!

Very little.
A very tired B&B.
The building interior and exterior is old, and poorly decorated.
The place has not been renovation since the early 1980s.

Lovely quiet character- filled home in a quiet location
It was a bit remote, but lovely if you're looking for some peace and quiet

A very comfortable stay, the room even had a small annex. Lovely and quiet.
Nothing, all good.

Superb place to stay Barbara and her family most welcoming, our second visit but not our last
NOTHING ALL PERFECT!

Absolutely fantastic place! The serenity is palpable - as quiet as a place can get. The bedroom was gorgeous, as was the adjoining sitting cubby..
I very much appreciated that they accommodated my earlier check-in request, and left me the keys in the keybox.

The location was great. Quite area. Spacious and clean living area and breakfast room. Loved the layout off the room we stayed in. Self-service breakfast had everything we needed. Owner accommodated my partners gluten free needs which was great. Had good contact with owners. Would recommend and stay again. Xx
Nothing to not like.

Lovely quirky house in beautiful quiet country setting, great value. Warm friendly, helpful welcome from Steven. Comfortable clean room, the separate reading room within it was an added bonus, nice view of parkland too. Good breakfast plenty choice and nice to eat when you wanted. Would return if in area, thanks for a lovely stay.
Can’t think of anything.

Whats not to like, good price and friendly host.

Good breakfast and nice to be able to eat when you want to
Step down from bathroom was deep and easy to miss as the carpet is dark

Very clean lovely old building, full of character in a beautiful, quiet countryside setting. Barbara is an excellent host and welcomed us warmly - even accommodated our daughters request for vegan milk and spread. We booked all three rooms, so nice having it to ourselves, but sharing the breakfast room wouldn't have been an issue. Happy to recommend.
I found the double bed a little hard for my liking, but as a family of 7 I was the only one to notice (maybe I'm just fussy!)

Best place I stayed in

Lovely location, great value, very thoughtful touches ie breakfast, chocolates, proper coffee facilities etc
Very clean and lovely building all round
Pillows need replacing and not enough hot water for a bath in room 2 either at night or in the morning
6.0
Nothing really although the lady went out of her way to give directions on how to find the place as it is extremely remote. Tea and coffee was good in the morning.
Everything else. To say everything was basic is putting it mildly. Nothing going for it at all.
